Another great entry! And that opening tracking shot from Touch of Evil…so incredible. It’s honestly my favorite part of the film as I wasn’t the BIGGEST fan of that one. Absolutely loved that shot, though. Great video, Neil!
Hi Neil, The Thin Red Line is a great start to the video 👌 followed by The Thing as well 😮 Thirteen Days is a very underrated Costner movie. A Time To Kill is an absolutely brilliant movie. Tin Cup is a lot of fun. To Catch A Thief is another top film, I do like a Cary Grant movie though. I saw Tombstone in the cinema 🧐 I’ve seen Tootsie well over 100 times, I watched it everyday for almost a year…I was obsessed with it 😆 same with Trading Places….. nice one mate, take care👍😃👍
Hi Alan. It’s funny how doing this in alphabetical order goes, sometimes a bunch of more obscure titles together and at others classic after classic. Yes, I found Thirteen Days really gripping and thought Bruce Greenwood was excellent as JFK….Grace Kelly is stunning in To Catch a Thief….Say what, you saw Tootsie over 100 times!!! Holy moly, that’s incredible. I did see it at the cinema when it came out and loved it but have probably only seen it around 5 times. I think the most I’ve ever seen a movie is 14 times (The Terminator).
OK Neil, I'm back. And determined to catch up. This Property is Condemned doesn't seem to get much love, but I think it's a good film. But then, Natalie Wood is a goddess. 13 Conversations About One Thing is brilliant!! A rewatch of THX 1138 really left me cold and uninterested in the characters. Titanic is one that I acknowledge as a classic, but I can't get excited about watching it again. The Train is fantastic!
Hi Mike. Thanks for persevering. I do actually like Titanic but prefer A Night To Remember. My great grandfather was involved with the design of the ship that was used to double for Titanic in that film….Yes, love The Train
Hi Neil, More fantastic movies from your collection! Two of my favorites are To Sir With Love and the original Thornbirds. That was funny about your grandmother and the cows in Top Secret! I would like to see Thunderstorm and Torment too. I also liked Tim real well too. Have a real nice day!
Great stuff again Neil. The Train as you say is fantastic and also one of my favourites. I have a big soft spot for Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines.
Thanks Roy. Ah yes, The Train is just so good. What a classic! And Flying Machines, what fun - Up, down, flying around, looping the loop and defying the ground
it's the John Guillerman show! I too love The Train, and I might agree that this is my fave Burt Lancaster movie that I have seen... I am eager to see Halleluah Trail, which i picked up recently, to see how well he handles comedy.
Haha, yes I’m determined to get everyone involved more in John Guillermin’s filmography. You’ll all get sick of me if you’re not already 😆 The Train is an incredible movie. I have Hallelujah Trail on laserdisc and need to rewatch, it’s been a long time. A long movie!
Another awesome edition Neil👍🤩👌 “I know a little German “ “His standing over there” “You dropped your fake doggie doo” “What fake doggie doo’ Ok I can go all day I better stop now 😜 Loved This is England awesome series.I remember I had to go on the hunt for the 90’s one at the time🤔 The Train what an awesome flick I’ve been meaning to pick that up on Blu ray it’s on the never ending list lol.
Hahaha, some great lines and I love some of the visual gags such as Omar Sharif in the car crushed vehicle….I’d love to see the This is England series but I haven’t seen it screened here….Ah yes, The Train is such a classic. I have the press stills of it also. My dvd is the Kino Lorber one and it looks great but yes I think there are decent blu ray and 4Ks of it available
Hi Neil alot of recommendations there is HG wells time after time a good movie I ask as I love the hg wells time machine original which I own on dvd so was very interested in time after time .
Hi Mark. Time After Time is quite different in tone and style to The Time Machine but is definitely worth checking out. The plot, involving Jack the Ripper time travelling to 1979 San Francisco with HG Wells in pursuit, is a fun one. Personally I don’t love it but it is good and worth seeing

Thanks, Branden. It’s a terrific opening to the movie. All the best
