I absolutely love Michael Winterbottoms Trip movies. The highlight has to be the first movie and the dueling Michael Caine accents! I have seen the mini series of the first and even more Coogan and Brydon is wonderful!

Hi. I’m with you there. The first Trip movie is one of my most rewatched although I enjoy them all. They get to go to some great locations too. If they ever make another one, that would be fine by me

Hi Neil, You had lots of DVD's in this one that I'm unfamiliar with. I always liked 20,000 leagues under the sea. Actually do have a few from this video like, 20th Century Women and Two Women, Up the Down Staircase and Venus. Again I heard Sean Connery there with you.ha ha. Thanks for another fun video!

Hi Neil, you didn’t fancy giving yet another 4K picture quality view of True Lies then Neil 😆 20’000 Leagues Under The Sea is a firm favourite 👍 I enjoy Underwater too 🧐 Untouchables is a near on perfect film as was your impression 😁 Valkyrie is one that doesn’t get enough praise. The actual story surrounding The Vanishing (the Gerard Butler version) is fascinating. Take care mate👍😃👍

Hi Alan. There’s some great TH-camrs out there who can talk the technical stuff but boy are there some pretenders and they all got on the band wagon with those Cameron releases….Underwater is a funny one. It’s definitely not great but I keep coming back to it….Ill have to read up more about the actual story for the Vanishing - I wish they had give it a different name as the George Sluizer films clearly own that title. I loved the artwork on the urban cowboy DVD because on a Blu-ray they digitally brushed out the beer bottle for some stupid reason 😂

You have Sean Connery down perfectly, Neil!! When I reviewed Triumph of the Will, I got more dislikes than for any other video. I guess some people think it should never be talked about in any context. I rewatched TRON recently and it was fun. 28 Days Later is a good horror film. Never saw the sequel. Nice to see someone mention John Huston's The Unforgiven, which is a favorite of mine. I'm a huge fan of Up the Down Staircase!

Thanksh, Mike 😁 I have good memory of seeing Tron at the cinema, it seemed amazing for its computer effects at the time. 28 Weeks Later has a fantastic opening sequence but overall not quite as good as the first one. It seems though that things are now moving ahead on a third film with Danny Boyle and Cillian Murphy returning….Sandy Dennis is excellent in Up the Down Staircase. Love the movie U-Turn I remember owning that on vhs back in the day You got to feel for Sean Penn he’s just trying to escape that crummy town lol.I loved True Romance,The original The Vanishing,Two Hands,Fire walk with me slots with the series.Did you watch Twin Peaks back in the day I always remember the first scene “She’s wrapped in plastic”
I own the Twin Peaks the limited series that came out way back now but I’ve yet to watch it it’s sitting in the watch pile I keep next to my Telly.I keep a stack of 50 or so I haven’t watched and put them away when finished but a bit slack putting them away I must admit 😂

Hi Deon. Yes, I enjoy U-Turn a lot although Stone goes way over the top in terms of how he shoots and edits it. But it is a fun one…The original The Vanishing is a masterpiece….Yes, I loved the original Twin Peaks series when it was first shown on TV, it was so bizarre but so captivating. Funnily enough I haven’t felt inclined to watch the follow ups although I know they’re really highly regarded. I do have the original series on a dvd box set and a laserdisc of the pilot episode

DVDs in a dvd collection video, who’d have thought! I think I’ve worn most people down now with this series but still several to go….And I did see you talking about Tom Arnold’s eyes and my comment is no knock against you. You understand that everyone has different tv/player set ups. What I’m bored with is just seeing all the videos of “expert analysis” of 4K scans and particularly on the 3 Cameron releases. There are several really good people who can do such videos, all the others are just of no interest to me
