With this track's acceptance into CTGP, I'm incredibly excited, but I also know a lot of the "jankier" elements will be ironed out. While this is much better for both online play and consistency in TTs, it comes with the drawback of some cool strats no longer existing, and so I decided to do a full TAS of this one to do it justice before the updates are complete.
I estimate this run took me around 90-100 hours in total to make, and lots of testing was done as I went, leading to a lot of backtracking and intermittent improvements. I'd say at least half of my time was spent working on stuff after the 2nd shroom cut, as it's completely horrible to TAS in like every way, but after many more hours I finally managed to get the sub. This run is probably pretty improvable in a few areas, but I'm pretty proud of it except for namely the waterfall area (that area sucks) and the outside halfpipe section (that area sucks worse).
Big thank you to Melg because his Dolphin Testing Pack has the type of speedometer that I needed and couldn't find anywhere else without noticeable UI changes, lifesaver
