    The ability to apply this in direct sunlight is huge, because some people don't have a garage or carport for shade. This is especially great for anyone living in an apartment complex whose looking to give their car a fantastic shine with great paint protection!

    Gentlemen, I have used this product, TW Hybrid Ceramic Coating, on both of my cars, and have found this product, as well as all of the TW Hybrid Solutions, excellent. How I used it? After properly preparing my cars for polishing/waxing, and after 2 coats of TW Hybrid Solution Polish/wax, then I applied 2 coats of TW Ceramic Coating, waiting 24 hours between coats. After 6 months of applying the initial coats, I have applied a third coat, and it seems like i just waxed it! Amazing! I have used all of the TW Hybrid Solutions products, and would recommend all of them. Because of the costs, I usually use ONR, once a week, because of our harsh winters here in the midwest. I highly recommend the TW Hybrid Solutions line of products, as long as your car is properly prepared.

    Thanks for the info! I applied this, and the second coat the next day, and it looks great. I've never done my own detailing, but the car was ready with paint corrected, etc, because I had some work done by a detailer earlier in the month. What do I have to do for future coatings in the 6-12 months? Do I have to somehow strip it away and start over with clay/polish/etc? Or do I just wash, dry and reapply every couple months for good? I didn't buy the Hybrid solutions Ceramic Wash & Wax, but I could if that's the "system."

To date I have not applied anything else dirt and water just slides of the paint work. I don't know if it's because I look after my JEEP been black I am bit of a fuss pot on my JEEP so far I am pleased that a product does what it says it does yet cheaper then Migures and works better then the expensive products. I actually love I bought 2 more spray bottles to keep in my tool box in case I cannot get any when I need it, I have it in my tool box. It feels soft slippery I am very happy as we have very hot days in Australia last few years has been getting over 43°c and 45°c very very happy with Turtle ceramic best to wait over night for best results.

Do I need to do anything special before using the Turtle wax product, can I clay bar the car as is then start with the TW ceramic? Wasn't sure if I needed to strip wash the car with anything first. Any suggestions will me much appreciated.

    • @PureOctaneGarage
      @PureOctaneGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the question. We would recommend a strip car wash, clay bar or mitt treatment, compound & polish, and finally a surface prep wipe down (usually a isopropyl alcohol mix). After these steps you will have a clean and prepped surface to start fresh with your Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating. Don’t forget to do a second Spray Coat 24 hrs later to get about 1 year of longevity!

    I have now tried Turtle Ceramic Spray... But i dont know if i did wrong in "cleaning" the car-paint right before with (Sonax Xtreme Cleaner+Wax)... do you think the wax makes the Ceramic spray less able to stick or be efficient ?

    • @PureOctaneGarage
      @PureOctaneGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Bjarni. We definitely think that is what you ran into. The wax in the Sonax Xtreme added a small layer of protection. In our experiences, these ceramics and
      SiO2 sealants really like a bare paint surface to adhere to. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news there. Since it didn't adhere as intended, we bet a good strip car wash with a coating prep wipe will easily remove it and let you attempt again when you are ready to detail next.

    I just wish when you guys make these kind of videos and I'm talking about every do-it-yourself video that's on TH-cam that you show people how to do things right. first of all no disrespect but you'll use one microfiber towel to apply the product you'll use a second one to remove it that's why you were getting streaking because the towel that you use to apply the product was still wet from the product whether you turn it over or not never use the same towel to apply the product as you would to remove it this is how you keep everything moving clean and streamlined. Also it's wise to spray the product directly on the microfiber towel so you don't get overspray because that overspray will get on to the glass and other parts and dry and that's not good because these products drive very quickly that's why you do very small sections at a time. Thanks for the video and by the way I've been an automotive detailer and restore in the industry for over 32 years.
    I give you good advice and you will see the difference

    • @PureOctaneGarage

      Thanks for constructive criticism. It might not have been apparent, but we did use a fresh microfiber towel during the speed up portions of the video. We have recently started using a microfiber applicator and that does work a lot better than spraying directly on the panel. Appreciate you watching!

Directions are misleading, I think they mean a “panel” is actually 4sqft, not a hood, fender, door etc. Also I don’t see why you couldn’t use 1/4 or 1/2 sprays to Taylor to where your applying on the car, that’s who’s I did my new Camry.

      Hello. Definitely give your vehicle a monthly wash, use a good ph neutral car shampoo and we like to use the 2 bucket method (wash bucket and rinse bucket). Of course a different set of tools and bucket for the wheels too.
      After that, to preserve the coating's health, we recommend using a product like Turtle Wax Ceramic Detailer or the new Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro Flex Wax with Graphene.
      Hope that helps. Take care and thank you for watching!

    This is a great product. Maybe even the best you can get off the shelf……..but why are people buying it off Amazon? Is it not cheaper at CT?
    Am I wrong? Just wondering…

    Can you use this on gloss vinyl stripes

    • @PureOctaneGarage

      Hi Roger. Our guess is it should be ok on gloss vinyl. It is not recommended for matte as it will add gloss. Turtle Wax does claim it is safe on PPF (paint protection film). Maybe try it on a very small area first, just to make sure!
      Thank you for watching! Let us know your results.

    I bought this product in UK and non of the instructions are in English, it doesn’t tell me how to apply it and it’s left my car with water marks and a waxy texture to everything, I washed it twice yesterday it needs another two more washes to try and remove it, it’s a really bad product. I couldn’t see through my windscreen yesterday morning.

    after applying to my car, the panel I have appied to collecting more dust quicker then before

      We have noticed this as well. We believe it might be the "Wax" in the product that still attract dust a little bit more than other sprays. Thanks for watching!

      You shouldn't see a haze. Just spread and remove immediately with a secondary microfiber. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
