Thanks for the review. Had one now for 12 months and I love that it brings my Profitec Pro 700 into the 21 century. I use the auto start so there is no need to hit start
Outstanding! I have not seen much content on how to use these. It is great to see educational vids you have produced. I own both a Pressensor ( installed in my GCP) and have been using it regularly with a dimmer mod on Ukla pump. BooKoo came out awhile later and it has a little more info provided but biggest advantage is price. I own that one as well and have it installed on my BezerraDou MN you sold me. It works great. Please share more extraction info on these devices with different coffees. As always I learn something every time I get in rabbit holes on WLL library 😀. Thanks.
That device needs an actuator for the pressure valve to bring it up to speed with Gaggiuinio. It seemed the machines built in brew pressure gauge was in line with the app
Naked-Portafilter website has a Y splitter. Not sure if it would fit this sensor and pressure gauge at the same time though. If you get it and it ends up working for you, please let me know as I'm interested as well!
I think all machines should come with a tablet already fitted. I am AuDHD and I would struggle to remember to press that tablet as well as remembering to lift lever and have flow control at the right position. There is too much to think about. Maybe I need Kafmasino.
@@1967davidfitness I don’t think you can go wrong there! Another very cool piece of kit and I love the fact that it’s brothers taking their coffee equipment to the world.
Cool device but its pointless unless you are using some sort of flow control or non spring lever machine doing a lever profile, a basic 9 bar shot you can measure via the machines pressure gauge and your wrist watch seconds hand.
This would work fine on my Bezerra Matrix under a year old. Oh now I need to wait for the machine to be crapped out and your next shipment of lcds are almost a month off if you can believe it. So it's a brick a rag hanger.
The history of these devices …. SEP smart espresso profiler… then Pressensor…. Then BooKoo. I purchased Pressensor when it first came out. The SEP software works with a few scales and the software is free. Same as Pressensor ( you don’t need the pressure sensor) to graph flow. The Pressensor was half the price of SEP pressure transducer. Then came BooKoo and they undercut both of them at half the price. Competition is good.
Mark is the man great review and man that voice haha I think you’ll beat any guy on cable news network or even radio station lol..
Cheers ✌🏻
why not add also a temp sensor ?

Hey bk, thanks for the comment - you've got quite the mod going on your GCP! Working on getting the Pressensor profiles added into the app.
I enjoy this one on my flair 58. I like the easier to find battery compared to alternatives. Bookoo also has a profiler/scale combo.

really gool gadget. I like coffee, you make great videos. Watched the whole thing....I'll never understand this level of coffee nerdery though hah.
Does whole latte love sale these?
Do you have a Y splitter available so that you can attach both the sensor as well as the group head pressure guage at the same time?
No trust 😅😂

For this price it doesn’t have a temp sensor :(
Are there any out there with a temp sensor included?
I don't understand how pressensor and mart espresso profiler can justify their large price premiums over the Bookoo.

Complete rip-off…, the Bookoo is a third of the price and you still need to buy the flow control lever with both.

And BTW. The flow control on a GCP is 10 bucks(dimmer mod).
