I would agree. To me a woman is far more attractive when she guards her body from exploitation. It also allows a man to meet them as intelligent beings instead of manipulative con woman. Too bad more women don’t realize this.
@@jamespayne8781 We live in this kinda world, and u have to get use to it. Those who u talking about will always find they 'followers'. The best part of this video, is seeing you happy, pumping your fists. As a fella with two high achieving adult daughters, this makes me proud. Keep it coming strong Lucia!!! : )
I must say it is refreshing seeing a young woman with real life skills, talent that came from hard work, dedication and drive doing something positive on TH-cam. This is just my opinion. Wishing you all the success in your endeavors.
Not only are your Fabrication Skills Impressive, but I'm guessing you edited this Amazing video too plus you're a Really Good Looking Lady! Just Awesome!!
Man, where was someone like you when I was younger. It would be so amazing to be married to someone who enjoys the kind of stuff I love. Its hard to find a soul mate that enjoys that kind of stuff. You're one in a million.
Total respect for someone who plans ahead and knows what they are doing. Heating aluminium before TIG welding? Total respect after seeing that. I will be subscribing from now on
Greetings from Bulgaria. I've been making CNC routers for a while now and have just decided to build a CNC plasma when I stumbled onto your video. Very impressed with your skills and some of your ideas. I will be looking forward to your next video. Great job.
@@luciasworkshop I'm sure you'll manage just fine. There is a fair bit to learn and I look forward to see what you've come up with. I would be more then happy to help if you need any advise. Regards, Paul
Yooooo this is wicked! You have some serious talent! I recently picked up a plasma for some home projects and once I saw how quick, clean and easy it was I was like damn, I gotta automate this! This is one of the better build videos I've seen and it's definitely given me my own ideas. Have a sub and keep up the good work! :)
I love the video! Great diy and fabrication, It is great to see people putting their skill and ingenuity to a problem and making not only cool devices but making their production line more advanced. Great work!
Fantastic work Lucia. If you ever get a chance, I implore you to become a teacher. I am a manufacturing engineer and I understand quite well how very rare it is to find people who can integrate many of these elements together, much less perform the machining, fabrication and assembly themselves. In addition, a perfect/ near perfect diagonal measurement is simple excellent quality engineering. I have inspected professionally welded frames as a third party compliance inspector and it is rare that I have observed this much detail to dimensions (not to discredit any welders, it is undoubtedly hard to chuck out frames left and right). The future generation needs you. Keep up the great work, Norvin
Absolutely love your videos and the skills you have, but it worrys me greatly wearing sandals in a metal workshop. I also work in a engineering shop and have seen many injuries by not wearing the right safety gear. Please , please take care as we all want you to be safe as you make your fantastic content. Keep up the great work as you are inspiring so many people.
Good job ! And pretty happy that you now have a channel in english... much easier for me than russian ! Thank you from France, and keep up the good work...
I really like how you used that piece of flat stock to measure off of when checking for square on the initial frame. Really nice work on every aspect of this build.
As an aerospace engineer and biomed student, i always try and choose a group that has at least one girl because their perspective is so vastly different than mine that i like to have them on my team. Their creativity is different and welcomed. Women are not better than men nor are men better then women, its how we choose to work with eachother that matters. It should never be a battle and i hate how movies have depicted that. Women engineers are just as good as men and visa versa.
HI i also made serial plasma cutter desks. Im just after some fault prototype arrived this level like you. Congratulation and thank you the video. Lajos from Mexico
Благодарю :) Я не гонюсь за миллионами просмотров) Кстати, если вам интересно, можете найти мой русскоязычный канал Люция перезагрузка, там больше видео.
Absolutely jaw-dropping! It always impresses me when someone manages to finish building such a large scale tool. I only saw one other guy building something comparable once, he had built a lathe out of structural beams and railroad scraps, it was equally impressive, and you should definitely see it if you can find it!
8:55 Oh no! Use either WAGO Lever-Nuts or solder seal wire connectors. I suggest the WAGO, you can take them off. Easy to use and relatively inexpensive, worth the time savings. If you're made of money, use wire ferrules on everything too ;)
7:53 - such a long and thin rod will have a significant torsion introducing linear differences between two sides of the gantry. Especially during accelerations. It's better to use thin walled alu tubing. Try diameter that fits the couplings you're using so it will be easy to fit it. You'll see the difference in stiffnes.
Yah totally! PLEASE PLEASE DONT hand hold metal parts in the drill press. Its a great way to rip your hands apart - literally- as the drill grabs and spins the workpiece around. I did this stunt just the other day. Not pleasant. I escaped with a minor 2 inch shallow cut.
Really enjoying the channel and the high level of work you do, Could you PLEASE make a front BELT GUARD for your drill Press, I've had belts snap and seen the injuries caused.
Impressive work. I'm wondering whether you've had any galvanic corrosion of the aluminium parts from their direct contact with the naked steel frame for 3 years. Generally, some kind of coating is used between them to prevent the transfer of electrons between the dissimilar metals.
Lucia, girl you have skill for days. Mad props for this build, you've got the mind of a mechanical engineer and the skill of a lifelong machinist. Most CNCs are not even built to this level of, well, ridiculously stout overengineering lol. We build alike. But it is a really clean, strong, and clever build, it's satisfying to see you work through the various minute issues that always come up. I have a couple of questions - What type of mill and lathe are you running, they look like an old set my dad taught me on but I've not been able to find them since. And secondly, what did you use for your controller, if I may ask? It may get answered already in the next videos, so I'll keep watching. You just earned yourself a sub chica, your channel is highly underrated. Keep it up!!! I'm not sure who or where you learned from, but you have a solid foundation in metalworking that would be the envy of many a shop. You ever want a job in the US, hit me up ;)
Well done Lucia. I'm making a CNC plasma too, I'm starting simple and upgrading it as I go so I can see the limitations and figure out what the best system it to use. Nicely made video 👍 subscribed. Cheers J

Hi Lucia. Just want to say that you do Exelent work whit your Chanel and the projects and something many creator’s miss, quality video sound, editing and explanation of the process in a precise way. Not just rambling on for minutes and not making any sense. And finally a question. Is the cnc plasma table your own design or is it from plans from some other maker?

On the aluminum bracket holding the gantry at 5:28 you should have wrapped the welds around the corner. The corners is where the cracks will start, and if they are left unwelded like you have done it will be much weaker in the long run than if you wrapped the weld around
