This week we had a crazy day at Curated, receiving a unique Lamborghini Diablo SVR from Australia and a "lost" Countach LP400S Series II "Lowbody" - two incredible Lamborghini examples. The Countach is a rare 1 of 1 spec of bronzo metallizato with bianco interior, which we will be restoring back to its original glory, while the SVR is in great shape and just needs a few touch ups. We also had a chance to get behind the wheel of the modern cult classic, Lexus LFA, which drives as good as it sounds! We also take a look at our 2006 Ford GT Heritage edition, 900-mile Ferrari 288 GTO, and Classiche certified Ferrari Daytona Spyder!
In the constant pursuit of pairing the world’s best automobiles with the world’s best collectors, CURATED Miami has specialized in Vintage Blue Chip European Automobiles since 2016 - specifically low production cars built by the likes of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and more. CURATED continues to pave the way for the next generation of collectors chasing the “poster cars” of their youth. Co-founder John Temerian, often called the Indiana Jones of car collecting, truly understands the importance of history, details, and provenance and CURATED is dedicated to educating and supporting new custodians, empowering them to preserve and celebrate these rare icons. Known for our inventory of some of the most rare examples of Ferarris and Lamborghinis ever produced, CURATED has a passionate global following, comprised of enthusiasts, experts, influencers and celebrities. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
There's no arguing, those LFA's can SING!!!!!!!
Drive as good as they sound!
"You won't see us selling electric cars here - EVER."
John - Thank you. Sincerely.
Best line ever ❤
Even flying socer from this company will have combustion engine ...😛
Please keep the wilkinson sword livery on the sV R.
So many memories watching this race series back in the day on the tv and at the track and this was THE standout car in the Nations Cup Series
The best automotive channel on TH-cam. Thanks for these vlogs.
That blue Lambo SV-R was up here in Calgary Alberta Canada in recent years. I got a bunch of videos of it that I am gladly to share with you guys. Never met the owner who had it up here but would like to one day. Keep up the awesome work Curated! Support from 🇨🇦
The way you guys cram high value super cars super tight that you have to walk sideways just to fit through in your showroom is an art in of itself
Hahaha it's certainly a process!
I was introduced to exotics when I was kid in the 80s and Miami Vice would feature cars I had never seen before and I was hooked since then. I was the only kid in school that had a subscription to Motor Trend.
Miami vice showcased these cars so well!
What a great find John , that SVR Diablo is beautiful , always happy when a video drops ! Thank you
Thank you!
so cool to see an iconic australian race car in the inventory!
Holy crap!
This car used to be on display at shopping centres (malls) in the early 2000s and I remember seeing this exact car back then.
You just made a 31 year old Australian feel like a kid again!
Thank you!
I love these videos for the level of detail and passion that goes into each car and its backstory. John and team, you guys are great!
I loved the LFA when they came out, just really missed the boat on them. But that Cannonball Spec'd Countach is the ish!!! Was all about the flash!!
An aussie here,
I remember when Paul Stokell use to race the car in the series called “The Australian Nations cup”.
I loved the car because of the sound it use to make compared to anything else on the grid ..I always wondered as well why someone would race such a beautiful car but now knowing it was a factory race car makes perfect sense
Same I remember them to John Bowes Ferrari sounded pretty mint to raced against the Monaros to from memory?
It's a nations cup legend!
Is this the car Sam Newman was racing in the nation's cup at one stage ?
I have a cap from Philip Island with all of the drivers signatures in that race.
Love the 288 GTO
Hey guys, fix the 8:45 error message pls
My favorite GT version is the Black Tip from the Camilo Pardo Signature Series
Thank you John, never stop
Always finding the cool stuff!
Another great video! That Daytona is simply stunning!
Thanks! The red on tan is just so good
Congrats on getting the first LFA ❤
Bella!!
Would love to shoot one of your cars for my channel, you guys have an insane inventory 🙌
CRAZY 🤪 JOHNS HAS AMAZING T.V. ADVERTISING IN AUSSIE BOYS!!! 😂😂😂😂❤❤look it up.
Take a shot whenever John touches a car in this video. Imagine, your job is to keep the cars clean and shiny :D
What is the car right behind the LFA? I can not figure it out. Thank you, Curated, this is an amazing channel, you guys do an incredible job. I learn something new each time. Incredible business, incredible knowledge, just thank you!
Thanks for the support! That car is a Kode 57. If you want to learn more about it, check out our previous video
Thank you! Checking that out now!
That countach does look pretty cool and in good condition the way it sits although given how crazy the original spec was I understand the desire to bring it back. Can’t wait to see the og color through something that isn’t an 80s quality Polaroid 😂
We can't wait to see it back in the bronzo metallizato!
I love seeing the LFA in inventory. I have owned a number of super cars over the years and I probably missed the window to be able to afford a LFA but was on my bucket list.
Never say never!
The black Countach looks way better than the burgundy
watch for the LFA content, more please 🤤
Interesting! The Toyota seems to have ran a faster lap than Ferrari at Le Mans!
Durex livery is wild
LFA is just the GOAT.
Any thoughts on the Bugatti Chiron successor?
What is that vehicle behind ? or in front ? of the LFA, maroon in color? Super interesting!!
Kode 57! checkout our previous video
@@WeAreCurated awesome! checking it out now!!!
It had a few liverly variations over the years we raced it.
That's awesome! You were involved with the team?
@WeAreCurated Yes mate, it's good to see it's still in one piece and going to a collector, he's not racing it is he? We had a lot of success with that car. Have you picked up on the few sneaky mods? They are technically not mods as I had a few pages of the manual updated to say 'Australian Delivered version', that was in the day when Mimo and Valentino were still heavily involved. I can say the car should be mechanically sound, I don't think it's had many Km's put on it since we had the power plant out. You can let the new owner know I have a few images of the old girl racing in Aus, if he's interested, Cheers AJ
Don’t remove the graphics or make copies and add them back, they are art and vintage
Unfortunately it's a requirement for importation to it's next destination
Yeah as is no doubt 🧐
Like 33 secs in, did they scratch on the truck pull off??
Sure did and about 24ish, right lower carbon
Wouldn't that Countach be worth more in black due to it being in the Cannon Ball Run movie? I think it looks better in Black with the bronze wheels rather than the original Red, I wouldn't change the movie spec car just restore the internal bits.
It's not the actual cannonball car, just a double wing like the cannonball car. Ultimately the buyer wants to restore it back to original
@@WeAreCurated Oh I see
I need more, MORE !!!!!
288GTO with black badges? Never seen 🤔
Dream job !
Awesome...
Love to watch your content i am a big fan
Thanks for the support!
"Sorry John.... we did some digging and it's a Fiero."
🤣🤣🤣
@@WeAreCurated Well John, When all else fails, call Sam Hard @hardupgarage King of the fake Lambo kit cars. LOL!
The lfa is a beastttttttttt and in blackkk
It's metallic black too! Looks so good under the sun
550 berlinetta?
analyze the frames
Recogised as an Aussie car straight away from the Crazy John's sticker. Aussie flag sticker gave it a moment later.
Yes!! A legend in the nations cup
The Daytona was possibly the sexiest Ferrari's
Such a simple yet stunning design!
Especially, not exxpecially :)
I'll never learn 🤣
Disagree with your view on the CGT, the average guy just sees a Boxster
Awesome 💯🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
As a car guy the LFA should have become the Supra I would prefer the v10 Supra over the the bmw Supra we have now
Even if the v10 Supra cost more compared to the bmw Supra it would have been more true to the heritage of Toyota at least
Imagine a v10 Supra instead of the bmw Supra we got after years of loyalty such a disappointment to not only the fans or ppl who love the Toyota brand even if it’s the Tacoma boys or or sienna soccer driving moms what a let down on the supra
A definite like on video just for the electric car comment lol
New frames need analyzing. Click analyze.
Thank you for the heads up 🫡
😍😍😍👊👊👊💥💥💥
The sound of that LFA... ❤ For me though, the trifecta of super car icons are the countach (with rear wing, non anniversary cars), the McLaren F1, and the McLaren P1. I know Jon says no electric cars, but I bet he wouldn't turn down an opportunity to broker a P1. 😎
Don’t care what anybody says
Lfa overpriced
Never get why owners put Daytonas on wires, it makes them look so old, the Cromodora 5 spokes look so much better on them
TROJAN > DUREX
some people find cars to own & drive , u find cars to make money with it 🥳
Chicago? Is that the Ferris Bueller car?
That one was a 250 GT California Spyder
reportedly, that car is owned by "THE collector" in Maryland.
Why on earth mess with an original race car… remove the graphics and do a paint correction 🙈🙈🙈 Sacrilege…
Unfortunately an important requirement for it's next destination
You guys are really late to the party on the Lexus LFA. the rest of the world has known about these hamdbuilt masterpieces. Their is a reason the Nuremberg editions go for more $$$. The famous teat driver for Lexus died testing in o e of these at the ring . That black contouch needs to be brought back to its original color ! Almost like the black was meant to hide the car all them yearw!
Better late than never!! Yes, definitely bringing that Countach back
*nurburgring
Nuremberg was the location of the trials
hmm I take it your not telling them that the steering is notoriously heavy, the top can only last until a 140 mph, and the gearbox, the thing people always complain about, is actually german on that daytona, and its no longer original as he restored the car
and you didnt mention the miles, just that its been rebuilt, and it was in the chicago area, meaning what the hell happened to it
as that is not the place you find a daytona spider, so while it is geniune, you can always tell as the back end is flat as a pancake on the conversions, something tells me your trying to pawn off an 80 K mile car as a multi million one
and while they were always expensive, to pay over a million for one like that is insane, like you guys, you got lucky with the 250 GTO's and the morons going for those
stop trying to ruin everything else
as its a double distributor 6 webber carbed car, and the last time I checked, your going to spend more time tuning it up after it sits than driving it
also for god sakes dont use the choke, do it manually, they like to stick on and dump fuel, which has caused more than a few engine rebuilds
meaning you have to do the choke thing manually and sit there for forty seconds with the revs high to get it to warm up properly
otherwise, just buy a bunch of sheetmetal, and make the worlds most expensive lawn ornament, and you'll get the same thing for less
also I think the daytona's Alumiumn on steel, probably why it was resprayed, like I think the door skins are aluminum
also its got a normal frame on it too, hence why most just make a conversion, also the wheels were specified as the car is actually verging on too heavy for the wire wheels
which is why the BB and the cars after it switched to the center knock off magnesium wheels, so those will need to be checked
and made sure that their up to spec, as some have been rebuilt by less than qualified individuals in the years since these came out of the factory
as it is what it is, just another old 60's ferrari with wire wheels, and ontop of that they remade it without the fuss multiple times
even in the 80's with the 400, like take the top off of one of those, switch the gearbox, and you'll get the same thing
or just go for the GTC spider, they did make a few of those, hell you could make 14 of those for 3 million bucks and it would be the same car and even the same engine
as it is italian, they werent the best build quality wise, which is why people asking top dollar for one is so insane
just build it in your garage and it will be better, as even the british didnt use alternators until 1969, god only knows what the italians forgot
I find it hilarious that anybody would pay top dollars for this antiquated obsolete technology same goes for any of the old AMG cars
buddy has the worst style in miami lol
Blah Blah Blah look at me I'm rich Blah Blah Blah !!!!!!
Thanks for watching!
First?
Crazy John's was a chain of mobile phone shops in Australia
I read his book. it is really good. he become a millionaire twice in his short life. I think he died at 40yo or so
Hope they keep the graphics
Don’t forget Big Kev 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@howtorepairpendulumclocks same, I would love to see the crazy John logo stay.
One of the differences with crew and channel is, if you're an enthusiast or into automotive supercar history, John not only shares the amazing stories about each car, he also gives us hands on videos of these incredible masterpieces!!
Thanks for the support Jay!
Analyze that frame Sergio! Great video guys.
🤣🤣🤣
I (probably) saw the black SVR race in the Philippe Charriol Supersport trophy together with about 30 other SVR:s back in the 90ties. It was just as cool as you might imagine.
Remove all except durex 😂
Gotta stay protected out on the streets! 🤣
Need an episode on the Vector...
Coming soon!
.... but the black looks so much better than the original color
New subscriber found your channel through the stradman's channel love your content. And I love Lamborghini's
Welcome! Thanks for the sub!
If there's one car that I'd love to hear, LFA driving by is definetly n the top of the list.
But also, what was that thing behind the LFA in the showroom?
Durex, take my money!
Every single time a new epi comes out I see something there was whispers about maybe twenty... even thirty years ago... bananas...
The shots of the Ferrari in Palm Beach is its perfect setting. Have you had any of the Ferraris you e had at the Cavallino Classic?
I'm affraid the front wing on Contach isn't EU llegal any more...🙄
Love the GT and the LFA, still waiting on your first De Tomaso
I miss the days when I could visit and admire the cars without an appointment...
You talk about cars with the same passion I have for colonoscopies.
Porsch-ah. I guess that’s like me saying Lamborghine
Removing the decals seems criminal
LFA modern classic, ok I am old 😅
Amazing job guys. For those of us without your skill, How long before AI can generate a design based on the hard points of a chassis, and you can 3D print the body?
Thank you! Not sure about AI, but there are handheld 3-D scanners that can be used to scan and then 3D print things like bumpers, mirrors, etc
i wouldn't have removed the graphics, but durex on the front, 666 racing number, crazy john on the side etc.. a gentleman would not want to drive such a thing.
so i'm glad you are removing them plus doing a paint correction
Yes! We love to keep cars as original as possible, but the graphics posed an issue for importing the car to the new owner's country. But it's going to look incredible after the paint correction!
Lamborghini looks great condition - owner must have used protection.
🤣🤣🤣
Great story behind the Countach! Who was the original owner?
Not sure exactly who it was
Remove the graphics? Did I hear that right?
Unfortunately it's a requirement for the import to it's next destination 😕
@@WeAreCurated Ah, that's a great shame and I presume significantly impacts on the integrity of the object/vehicle/investment? One of the compromises I suppose of curation versus running a business/paying bills etc. Interesting. Thanks for sharing the story.
Is it blurry lens or just humidity 😂
Humidity 😭
The lexus aged super well imo
It really has!
