Ben... nothing worse than realizing a mistake!! I once had a load (30ft trailer , all handball grocery products etc) where the first four drops had been loaded bacwards!! Sad to say, the air was a bit blue on that day, figuratively speaking!!!

Hiya mate is the restaurant at Orte still open? I did Rome regularly back in the late 80s and stopped there most times. Now doing the odd F1 trip. And enjoying it all over again.
I believe so mate. I did a few trips on F1 - different ball game. There’s videos of the trips in my library if you check them out 👍🏽

Looking forward to part 2. Don't know how you manage with 9 hours off then doing a ten hour driving day. And travelling across Europe. It mustn't be as big as I think😂😂.
Haha the 10hr drives are usually easier believe it or not as the total day is only around 12hrs with breaks 😃

Question for you, when going through the tunnel why not just turn the fridge/freezer off rather than waiting for an escort?
Good question & I believe the answer is because of the amount of extra diesel we carry on the fridges though there’s plenty of trucks with larger capacity tanks than mine & my fridge combined 🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️

why go to folkstone to get to italy from your depot when you can get brittany ferries to france and get your break in as well
Sivep is straight off the tunnel in Calais for all our Customs & veterinary checks plus I had a drop on for Holland I believe (if I’ve got the right video) & also we need our rest periods as late in the trip as possible to allow us more time to load & get back.
