Good evening, my name is Rodrigo and I am from Argentina. If I read correctly, you are from the United Kingdom. I was in London last year and I really loved it. I was not only impressed by the city of London, but also by the kindness of the English people. They are very respectful.
Moreover, I don't speak English (only a little), and the immigration officer was very kind and tried to answer my questions despite my poor English. She understood me, but there was one question for which I had to ask permission to use Google Translate. She was very respectful towards me.
When I was outside the airport, I didn't know which train to take. I asked a gentleman, who I am sure was English, which train I should take. Not only did he tell me which one to take, but he also accompanied me and made sure I got on the right train. This is what made me fall in love with the United Kingdom the most.

Some foreigners think our politeness a bit annoying and apologies for things we have no control over weird. I hope most of us would offer to help if we think we could, but stay back to avoid being intrusive.
But of course we consider Gibraltar and the Falklands British as long as their people want to be British :)

This is giving me flashbacks from my time travelling around South America in my 20's. Rio to Buenos Aires, a cool 40 hours, fortunately some fellow travellers gave us some high grade valium tablets in the hostel and I was only awake for around 5 of the 40. Cuzco to Santiago in one go was the worst. 17 hrs to Peru/Chile border, 4 hour faff getting over the border and then straight onto a 27 hr bus to Santiago. No pharmaceuticals and a dose of Bolivia belly that had us running to the coffin of a toilet ever hour or so. Brutal but a memorable adventure. No chance in hell I'd do that these days, so massive respect for this, you're off your head 🤣 Great vid 👍

In 2011 I did Reading to Hull on National Express. Thirteen hours of pure misery. I vowed to never get on another coach or bus in my life, a promise I've kept to this day. It wasn't even really the insane amount of time it took, more the revolting stinking pigs I was confined with.

What you put yourself through Scott for content! That was epic. I didn’t know there were buses that arrive in Knutsford services at that time of day (live near there). Mind you it did not give me any ideas to replicate your journey. I hope you have fully recovered. Thank you for doing that trip.

Scott, if there's any part of you that thought taking a coach from Glasgow to Gibraltar would be fun, please have a word with that part of yourself. 🤣 A brilliant watch, cheers!
P.S. What's the opposite of "bucket" list? Let's try this ... many thanks for adding experiences to my "spade" list of things I never want to do. Steve and Alicja have a few in there already 😉

Victoria coach station! Gosh, that takes me back. Still looks much like it did when I travelled from Rotterdam to Nottingham in 1995. There was always a rough edge and a sense of adventure that you get with coach travel across the channel. It looks like not much has changed.

I live in Nottingham,it takes 8 minutes by bus to get into the city centre.Due to my hatred of everyone plus the morons/druggies etc etc that get on the bus,i`d rather walk into town.I live in a Supported Assisted Living complex with 26 flats, our new manager has organised a coach trip to Skegness and asked if i was going ?,i told her that The Ukraine,North Korea,Syria or Israel sounded much more promising.

You use the words ‘coffee’ and ‘cruising altitude’ in your videos so often you ought to make some merchandise. How about a coffee mug with the words ‘cruising altitude’ and you with your hand in the ‘cruising altitude’ position on the front

Last leg sounded interesting ! I stayed in la linea as gibraltar hotels were crazy prices . Apartment had an entry system via your phone and I forgot that at 11pm 2% on phone battery I was nearly stranded in la linea and the area looked sketchy. Loved walking across the runway into gibraltar it does feel weird.

I agree about not using overnight buses in Spain. One bad experience in the 90s involved an old war film (The Last Day of the War) being shown with very loud audio on a big overhead screen not far in front of me during the small hours on a trip from Bilbao westwards to get to the trailhead for a walk in the Picos de Europa. I had to get out at about 3 AM and was too tired to go on, so I slept in a dry ditch next to the busy road.
