The teleport thing, as well as respawning is only a thing gameplay wise. New-U stations and by extension New-U fast travel are not a thing in the lore.

Nothing new on or around Pandora. All of the BL2 V Hunters don't really have an excuse considering HammerLock is the first helpful person to them and sets them up pretty nicely for the rest of the game. Aston should be here to at least be nice and Zero can spare some time right? Sal has been there so would know where to go and apparently Maya is the only with a legitimate excuse. I'm not saying they should all be there. But them not being there just makes them all look a lot meaner than they actually are.
