I was done after my first play through. I managed to finish the campaign, although it was a slog and felt like a chore, and haven't touched it since. The villains and the writing were enough to put me off. Also I didn't think there were many side quests (many that were good either), or good explorable areas or bosses and loot to farm to warrant me staying on. The game was a massive disappointment to me considering I was hyped for years as bl2 is one of my favourite games of all time and have played through it and all its DLC countless times with most characters across 4 different platforms. Still kind of bummed out about it still
I played BL2 for years as well and I personally think the gameplay is superior in BL3 by a mile. The story and characters however flat out suck compared to 2 and I hate how they killed off Maya and Lilith

It's like when there's a long time between movie sequels and the actress who was the pretty one in the previous movie hasn't aged well. Gaige looks like she's turned into Gaige's mom physically but still talks like when she was 18 (in BL2). It's just sad and weird to see this after maining Gaige in BL2. And Deathtrap looks like all of his upgrades were chucked into the recycle bin.
Meeting Gaige in this DLC was awesome. Although I didn't have her DLC in Borderlands 2 I just enjoyed the character. Plus I've heard the VA for her in multiple other games.

Borderlands 3 story suffers from them overthinking it and them trying to cram every idea they came up with into the main story without making it actually work. That's what made BL2 main story so good. They actually carefully planned it out.

there was one dlc gun I loved when using gaige, though I cant member the name. It was a natural ricochet gun that was beefed by her own ricochet skill plus the power from anarchy.... I would go into small and medium rooms and just unload without aiming (when I got high anarchy) and the whole room would get slaughtered lol
Five years time skip - Tina is 18 - gaige was in high school in 2 making her atleast 15 at the time - she should be in her 20s atleast - why does she looks 17.
The vocal performance is fantastic. Too bad the in-game animations are beyond stiff and lifeless. Listen at 2:34 to every bit of vocal inflection that happens in Gaige's voice, and see how literally NOTHING other than her mouth moves. At least in Borderlands 2 the characters moved their arms or *SOMETHING* to make it look like they were remotely invested in what was going on!
She's not 18 anymore, she's 24 now but yeah her face is a bit off. Remember she had to hide on Pandora after what happened to her when she was only 18, so it not unrealistic she didn't want to stay and wanted to go back to a normal-ish life.

She's not 18 anymore, she's 24 now but yeah her face is a bit off. Remember she had to hide on Pandora after what happened to her when she was only 18, so it not unrealistic she didn't want to stay and wanted to go back to a normal-ish life.
