Real riders , ride all year. Big respects. I have a 2015 s1000rr, my car got totaled recently. So I gotta ride back and forth to work . 40 degrees is my cut off but . Yup . All year squad! Love the bike man. Ride safe.
Sir maybe use a leaf blower after you wash your bike. It will save you more time, and less scratch on the frame.. 😅.. i do it after washing my bike and my car.. and thank you for sharing about the BT after full headers.. will do it on my s1000r.. i use my bike going to work and weekend ride. I love it..
i love the way you are so honest, i have the same bike and has same miles as urs and if someone ask me my opinion ill tell them the same thing as you said, the bike is great and i love it i got it 2 months ago and i have 3400 miles on it i ride a log 😂
Doing anything to the ECU will void your BMW warranty. My retailer told me that swapping the exhaust system is more than enough, the computer on the bike will sort it out up to 80%, so the flash wouldn't give you much more other than voiding your warranty. This goes for Finland/Estonia in Europe.
I love mine. About 700 miles now. I did heli bars and love the slightly better position. You still need to ride in race pro and set the DCC to 2! Comfort and faster response, plus more exhaust sound. I just need exhaust or at least a slip on
Hey mate I am stuck between s1000rr or cbr1000rrr Is the tune necessary for it I heard the US models have a throttle dead zone around 7-8k rpm but Aussie versions don’t ?
@@nikbau7642 Meh, it's a wash. Depends what you want. The BMW is more comfortable has way more features, arguably looks better, costs less, and has a way better after market selection.
I live in an apartment complex and have no outside access for a hose to wash my bike…is a car wash self bay a viable option you think? Not an easy task
As far as the mirrors go, they look great, and price is unbeatable, but for me very hard to see out of them. They don't bend in, so for me in particular it's tough. But they do look great. Can't beat the price.
The stock are only slightly better. All I do is move my elbow up and see what I need, I had to do similar with the stock ones. On sport bikes there is no great mirror solution, just compromises and for the looks these type offer the best compromise in my opinion.
I have had mine for a little over 2000 miles, and I still have not washed it, lol. I have a guy that washes my cars on the weekends, perhaps I will wash the bike myself.
It's the safest thing to do because if they perform a system upgrade, then it changes the stock ECU setting that you sent to BT, and you have to get a new flash file.

Same, was wondering if someone was going to mention this. I absolutely love this bike and agree, the vibration in the grips can be brutal at times. Never had that before. Hoping there’s a bar end solution for it
@@DontblinkZ99 I tried and still have on the M lever guard bar ends which some suggested, which helps a bit, but for me the main thing I notice is that rough vibration that like Ducati or Aprilia have 0 of and I really hate it. Otherwise the bike is cool
There iz NO "typical" for ANY type of "street" bike. It's literally the owners' passion/desire for riding, and the tolerable, yet safe riding conditions(the weather in your "zip" 😜code) to operate a motorcycle, that dictates the mileage accumulated. If you "daily drive" a Lambo, you're gonna accumulate a lot of mileage on your Lambo. Simple.
I love my 23 s1k. I'm also at 3000 miles. No issues. I did the Brentune stage 2 . Plus the same other mods as you. No issues. Amazing bike! I'm 55
55 is still young, you can ride super sports up to 80s
Got my 24 1 month ago, full exhaust, absolutely love the bike minus the power dip. At 2k miles. Was wondering when it’s a good time to Bt tune

Hill assist hold is a game changer. It's not even about being on a hill, it's just about relaxing at a stoplight with the bike just holding itself.
just the best overall package for a supersport you can get nowadays

Very nice bike. In my opinion, the most comfortable super-sport out there.
U should make more of these wash and talk review videos my guy

That is one of the firsts, KTM supporting a BMW.. LOL (the bike stand from KTM)

Probably helps to add that I'm 5'10". Moving the bars back 1.5" is a big plus
John, Great review really enjoy your videos. This bike is definitely amazing I have the same thoughts and feelings about this bike as well.
Love your content mate. Amazing bike. Ergonomics and power. I do the same as you maintain cleanliness and tidy. From Melbourne cheers
Thanks 👍

@@Landlord1244no idea about us version. At the moment I don’t have any issue at all. The bike is superb and power.
You happy with the stainless, I want to change mine but can’t bring myself to buy the ti at almost double the cost.
Super happy with it no need to spend the extra money unless you want to see the blue on the titanium exhaust.
looks awesome as always.......I wash my bike alot............
very beautiful bike wow
Thanks ✌️
Don’t forget to get the frame sliders and fork sliders…
I’ve had my 2024 rr since May and put in 1500 miles this year.
Damn that thing is looking GOOD👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Have you had any oil leak issues? I am at 3K and noticed yesterday that there is oil leak under the bike!
Nice bike, congrats, but I prefer that it had the exhaust under the tail like the cbr600 has
I'm 5'9 and was thinking about upgrading from a 600 to the fireblade or yours - curious if you think the BMW is still a better option.
Not in a million years, get the Honda

Anyone know of a great Brentuning mechanic in south Florida? Typical Cost?
You can do it yourself

Bro i have questions since you have Bt moto. If you go back to your dealer are you going back to stock tuning?
It's the safest thing to do because if they perform a system upgrade, then it changes the stock ECU setting that you sent to BT, and you have to get a new flash file.

Do you get a lot of vibration through the bars? I do on my 2024, way more than my 2016 and it makes riding not pleasant.

Totally, ridiculous buzz machine for all the tech.

I feel bad I had my 24 s1 for 6 months only 1100 miles. Guess I’m not a real rider 😞I use db racing mirrors from Italy pricey but worth it.
@@ronjones4378 how do you like those mirrors? I was thinking about getting the gloss carbon fiber, but that price! 😱😂

nice bike, I have an h2 and gixxer1000r. i disagree, i can push that bike on i75 N and max it out 200mph above all day !

Whats the cost of First Service? @cyclefanatixsport and Cost of maintenance?
It cost comparable to other bikes but cheaper than a Panigale.
First service was almost $300
