Some people ignore the breakin period for the S1000 by bypassing the ECU settings, then moan about the bike when the engine breaks. BMW are solid.

I totally agree about the cruise control. A lot of other bikes don’t have it available too. I’d pay another $500 for cruise control!

How is the tune on the bike?? Is it any good?

Great Video, I have been a Panigale rider most of my ridding life, both V2 and V4 but 1 year ago I got my first S1000RR. I love it. I think that the S1K at its core DNA is a touring Bike. That makes it better than any Panigale for long rides and at slow speeds. Panigales feel like race/track bikes Horrible for long rides n slow speeds very aggressive ergonomics. I have both S1000RR n Panigale and depending how long is my ride n where I am going I chose one over the other. For every day and commuting hands down S1000RR

So those pops on deceleration…is that due to a too rich fuel situation with gas not used in the cylinders being ignited in the exhaust?

So it’s a comfortable bike..but is it a more forward sport kinda riding stance with your arms and wrists taking a lot of your weight and a sort of cramped leg position?

Never had a sport bike always Harley’s…what is your take on a more upright sport bike with good performance for someone that has only ridden Harley’s with less than 100 hp? Riding since 1988 no accidents, have common sence..😂 love the sounds of a twin but not opposed to a triple or a 4 cylinder…

Seems like you are familiar with the roads you ride in your posts, cuz you know when to get on the throttle in the on and off ramps and highways you’re on …familiar roads are great because you know Where to get On it and where to hold back…

In Tucson, formally Boston. When it's 95 here, it feels like 80° Got the 1200RR with a SC slip-on. I'm not a fan of Nadals Spark, the sound. That's just IMO. I gotta get a quick release fuel cap too. Its gonna be in the low 80's tomorrow. 😊 I'd get the BMW 1000XR.

Hello, I tested a mt10sp, it has a strong torque, but for long distances you need a sport tourer like an S1000XR or M1000XR (I tested it, it's what you need) I had a mt09sp for one year and I wanted to switch to a mt10, but the wind blows you the same way , so I got a S1000XR ;) BTtuned ;) beast! Not a fan of the massive factory signals and placement of the exhaust 12 k doesn’t seem like it’s worth it and it’s obstructing the tail light save the cash and buy a tail tidy….

Dude you sold me on the s1000rr I will be picking up the 2025!!!!!

Just remember to take into account that the summer tires won’t have the same grip in the cold weather
