- I have been hanging onto all of this footage since August! I struggled to find a way to put this together into a video, and contemplated tossing it all, but I just couldn't bring myself to do that - so, I'm squeezing this one in before the year is over! Plus, I had said I would show you some of these things going on behind the scenes, and I wouldn't want to let you down 😉
In this video we have a bunch of things going on over the last several months, so here it is - the orphaned projects and adventures of Steve and Michelle!
Generator wheels, camper update, boats, RV shelter build, our October camping trip to the ocean, my much needed shed update, and how we are managing our winter madness!!
Side note reminder - Lenny is doing well and being managed on medications. We still don't know why he went into ventricular tachycardia, but in the next video or so I will go over those stressful few days in more detail.

Your "orphaned" projects made me remember of all the projects, adventures, moments of panic and good times my wife and I had over the past 56+ years, and still having complete with backhoe, dump truck, pickups, sailboats, campers, kids, grandkids, dtc.
I really love these people. They give me hope in humanity. What a great couple, with a wonderful life in a beautiful place.
"Hope in humanity"? WTF? They ARE "a great couple with a wonderful life in a beautiful place"...but they are also living a lifestyle few can afford. These are WEALTHY Canadians after all- who have the luxury of R.E., Time, and Assets. HOW is that remotely "hope in humanity"- when so few actually grab that brass ring? C'mon, they're rescuing dogs, not people!!
@@dedexyz8475 I like dogs better than people. A dogs love is unconditional. This couple earned their lifestyle. Hard work takes you where you want to go. Enjoy your bitterness.
@@scottmayhew2227it’s easy for people to judge hey?!? If people only knew how hard Steve has worked his entire life to get to where he’s at today. Sure - we talk about the work we do saving animals, but we haven’t talked about the work Steve has done for humans as well. One day I will talk about it!

Bonjour Steve et Michelle. first of all, many thanks for a new and a rather NOT BORING at all vidéo. I love them. Steve is a master worker. he works and does not complain. He sticks with a project and gets it done, or as close as possible. You two work well as a team. dragging an outboard motor, pouring a cement pad and most precious to me, the two of you on a ladder. how romantic. the most touching of the segment of the vidéo, was with the puppies in America. the beach footage had me in tears. it's been years since i've been home. nicely done Michelle. one day the snow will melt and you two can sort out the leak and make the necessary repairs. thanks for not throwing these projects in the rubbish bin. hoping to see more adventures chez Steve et Michelle en 2023 à bientôt mes amis

Michell, similar to you and Steve, my girlfriend is quite a bit younger than me, and she gives me grief the same way you do Steve. I remind her regularly that I can beat her arm wresting. 🙂

It's a good thing you both are so active and capable!
RE: the dog pee and cleanup. I think just a little bit of vinegar helps greatly. Around here this is used in a spray, a bucket of cleaner and in floor mopping. This pertains to hospitals, rest homes and even my mortuary. Not much. Just an ounce or two.
poor Steve.. working in the snow, into the night... not what I would be doing in the winter.. but at least you guys are warm and protected from all that snow..

It was really hard to watch the last beach day with your beloved dog, as I watched video I look down to see my dauchshund starring at me below my chair, and I whispered ‘I love you pup’…. Completely lost it 😢😢😢😢 I have lost dogs before, it’s so hard for us, so glad it could end that way. We love you both. Thanks for sharing your lives with us, it inspires us to accomplish things too. J

I just came across your channel. Enjoying your videos very much. Especially love seeing you rescuing the fur babies. They give all to their humans without any hesitation and depend on their humans for everything. To see any abused really makes me want to show the previous owners abuse and neglect.

i am new to your channel recently remarried after 25 years ? my new wife is 20 years younger than me. I love the chemistry between you and Steve. I most recently retired as a veteran Psychologist with my doctorate but had done many endeavors and can do anything really. i was a custom home builder when last married and do all phases of construction and so much more! i enjoy your channels content and we reside in Florida now but have my former Tn home as well? i love the Washington state trees and lakes and the area of BC Canada so gorgeous? Great videos i have watched many that you have out out already. You make a great couple i love that .im Doc...

Seeing Hannah brought tears to my eyes. I can't explain it, other than I have a soft heart for all animals. She did definitely "smile" on the beach. With respect to your metal roofing. Very often most manufactures will send one more roof panel to protect the others from scratches during shipping.
Yes, they did send cover panels to protect everything, but there was also an extra 24’ length, which was definitely not meant to be a cover panel. 🤷🏻♀️

Oh my..... I am happy to see this video. I was getting a bit concerned that your cabin on the cliff had it's way with you. But now my smile muscles are back in good form. Thanks for taking us along with you and Steve and the dogs on you adventures and projects. Today here in Michigan is very cold and blizzardy, so your video is a welcome cheery uplifting addition to my day. Love it...!! It was in no way boring. That Clyde is quite a character.... announcing his presents to the world with his hound voice. And Lenny.... Such a lucky dog. Here in Oz you always get an extra sheet, it’s the top sheet in the stack so your good sheets don’t get damaged
Michy- Fluidity was attained: it shows two people who have worked very hard to attain what they have, and even more so....STILL busting ass, HANDS on....themselves, transforming their little slice of heaven. Or at least 20 acres worth. ;-)

Great video. Remember that the Beatles White album was a hodge-podge of songs. You did a superb job in weaving things together with some great music and your narration. I was reminded of that movie classic from the mid 1960s called "Endless Summer" about two guys surfing around the globe.

They're always with us. I carry part of every working dog(Military and Civilian Police) I've ever had. They will always be a part of my soul. When I finally move on from this life, they will be buried with me. Don't grieve for all the good times you've had with your dog. . There will be another dog, someday, that will feel just as bad to lose. But we can take them with us in the end. I look forward to the Rainbow Bridge.

Hannah seems like such a good girl. I know what you are going through. Lost my 10 year old doberman this past summer. I will miss her smile as well. I love the projects. I have a bunch myself to finish.
