Yeah. It sucks when others don’t agree with a simple living choice. I also think We’d be very lonely is we all mind our business. It’s ok to have some conflict in life. Look how much Linnea grew from this. Just saying. Life doesn’t have to be smooth to be enjoyed, but it does have to include others and their freedom to choice what they think is right.
@@PlutogalaxyYeah, so maybe they did this for health reasons. I didn't think of that! I just keep picturing a big ol' rainstorm and then going out to the garden and finding human turds in it. Lolol! Now I'm sure she does all the protocols concerning human waste, but there are some beastly people that just don't care, which is probably why the law was made. Gross. 🤢
Sometimes the biggest blessings begin with seeming like they are the biggest curse. Honestly, as I gain more wisdom, I recognize that, what most would call anxiety, is actually excitement for the thrill that is coming right around the corner of breaking through another comfort zone in my capabilities and knowledge. Level up! ;)
Add water to the tank. My neighbor put in a new tank while building a house, and since the house was not lived in, the no water was used or went into the tank. There was a lot of rain and the tank floated on top of the ground water, rising out of the ground. Run your well and put a few hundred gallons of water in the tank so it has weight so don't float if ground water raises during a rain storm.
There’s no need to do that unless your water table is high. So if u live close to a body of water you might need to worry especially if it floods in your area. I have seen that before.
Once you get your septic completed, you should find a toilet and place it nearby. Just out in the open with no privacy. That should give that neighbor something to look out for.
😆🤣😆 I love that idea, but from what I can tell she wouldn't do that. I don't think she has a hateful bone in that little body of hers. What a sweet girl she is!!
40 acres and neighbors are STILL a pain??? It's like it's impossible to move far enough away from the cancer of society anymore! Sorry to hear you are near neighbors that refuse to understand how nature works. Are they going to fine all the wildlife for not having septic tanks too??? SMH...Glad to hear you got it "Worked out".
I truly believe that this Karen of a neighbour is just completely jealous of your life and possibly even watches your videos and that neighbour is a very nasty miserable person and lives a sad life and wants to try and take you down. Just remember you change those type of people and don’t allow them to take you down other level. I hope that neighbour sees these comments and remember you’re a horrible person for being a Karen!!! How dare you call on such a beautiful person like Linnea . Bugger off and leave her alone and just because your life is a sad one doesn’t mean you need to try and ruin another persons life!! Live life to its fullest Linnea and besides that one nice man neighbour who has helped in the past don’t trust anyone. Pretty sad that someone can live on 40!acres and still have a nasty Karen of a neighbour!!
I almost feel like this was a test. So many folks in this day and age wouldn’t have the money to do something like this seemingly overnight. Have to wonder if their hope was that this would end up being the straw that broke the camel’s back and she would leave.
I watch you from Australia. I bought 250 acres of raw land before covid. We visit when we can, with plans to move there eventually. Nosey neighbours seem to be worse the more rural you go. I just love how you take a negative and turn it into a positive ❤️
This seems to be the case everywhere!! it blows my mind that people in rural areas, where there’s nothing around, have the time to focus their attention on somebody else’s business. What is wrong with people?
Nice work! As a single woman homeowner, I learned how to drive an excavator when my sewer line collapsed 2 years ago. I had an awesome community who helped me know what I could do on my own, taught me how to drive the mini-ex and lay pipe, and came to my "shoveling party" when it was time to fill in the trench (and I was too cheap to rent the excavator again). To this day that's the home project I'm most proud of (even though it was the most stressful as well!). Be proud of how you tackled this project and built community along the way!
I will be 81 in a few days & have lived on my redwood forest land, off grid, since the ‘70’s. It was / is my life long dream to have a kabota. Alas, I lived out that dream thru you this last hr watching you create this system. I have 3 structures, one legal w/ septic & 2 w/ back country septic (3 55 gal drums w/ leach lines. ) tho my dream of a kabota is just that, a dream, the satisfaction of watching you create this system your system , so perfectly, has given my heart so much gladness. Thank you. Much love & light for your continued journey. P, Mendocino co, calif
Happy Birthday, fellow Capricorn, I am guessing. My birthday is December 26, I will be 73. I would have given anything to live my dream of a permaculture sanctuary in Ireland eventuate, but my daughter got cancer so I am trapped in hot, dry, burnt, snake infested Australia, facing homelessness instead. So I don't go completely mad with worry, I live my lost dream vicariously through young women like this. She is doing well. Sounds like you have had a good long life in rural America as well..Blessings from Australia to you both. 🩵
@ thank you for your wishes. It’s interesting what choices we make before we come down here. I feel you might be living your lessons, as we all are. I send light & love & ease for you & your daughter 🥰
@@kalayne6713I am keeping you and your daughter in my thoughts. Me & mine are going through the same thing. I’m not facing homelessness but almost hopelessness as the prognosis is not good for my daughter. We will fight none the less. Best wishes for a positive out come for you & yours.
Well handled. What a bummer. Thank you Chris (and wife) for showing some kindness. You will move on from this and not drag it with you. Dont let it spoil your dream ❤
There's nothing like getting anxious things off your plate! In a way, that nosy neighbor was a blessing because you learned something new AND made new friends AND made a major development on your land. Guess what? It's no longer "raw land". A well and septic. We're movin' on up!!! Now hopefully you can focus on replenishing your emergency fund for a while. Eeeeek. You're always full of surprises and I really love that.
You are one amazing young woman. You have lived fearlessly, you have lived with great challenges and what I love is your attitude to overcome all of it with a positive acceptance that it's a learning experience. You are truly interesting and intelligent.❤
You did it!!!! Of course you did! I have so much faith that whatever comes up you will take care of it, find the help you may need and complete the task perfectly! Well done Linnea! Sad to think that a neighbor turned you in without talking with you first!
As someone who moved to a more rural area to get away from so many rules/regulations and ended up with a nosy neighbor who has threatened to call the county on me, I am so sorry to hear you're dealing with this. Not sure where your set up is on your property in relation to neighbors, but I would look into putting up no trespassing signs as well as some cameras because unless where you park is in line of sight of your neighbors, it is quite possible your neighbor trespassed onto your property to see what they could report you on (my neighbor walks onto my and our other neighbors' properties all the time).
First, you are obviously not in Missouri. If you get away from the large cities, there are few to no building codes with the exception of septic and wells. We also have good trespassing laws. If you buy raw land and do not have covenants or building codes, you can do anything on your own property short of cooking/growing drugs.
I’m confused are you talking to me or Linnea? Because yeah she is very obviously not in Missouri. But also just because strong laws about trespassing exist somewhere doesn’t mean people will necessarily follow them.
I can’t believe someone reported you. Like you are in the middle of absolutely NO WHERE!!! Minding your business not bothering nobody! Ppl suck! Sorry they did you like that! You did an amazing job tho
Well, you do need permission for septic tank, it needs to regulated because if any hill Billy out there is gonna start putting septic tank were gonna have issues with contamination of water and soil. And if the person who reported you keeps animals on their property I understand their concern. There's no such thing as off grid anymore. Why bother with septic tank if you can compost or my personal favourite incineration toilets, I mean brilliant.
Linnea, once again you take lemons & make lemonade! You are such an inspiration to all of us. Now you operate heavy machinery, help put in your septic system & make sweet new friends along the way. Kindness is everything!! Sounds to me like those neighbors who reported you would do better IN your tank than worrying about it. But you, dear woman, completely rose above the situation with grace & humility and got it done. I’m so proud of you!!🎉 Have a wonderful Holiday with your family! Love & More Blessings, till next time! ❤️🙏🏻🥰
Even in the toughest moments, remember that you have the strength within you to overcome any challenge. You are not alone (we are here) - every step you take is a victory.
I was reported for something too and I can so relate to what you were feeling at the start of the video. Turns out the person who reported me did me a huge favor and I've reaped the benefits from fixing the issue ever since. I learned a tremendous amount going through the process. A Professor at a University once told me that my story I shared online about my experience is now required reading for her class. So honored and I think this video should be required viewing for anyone starting a building project. Taking many pictures along the way saved us so many times when the inspector questioned our process after everything was buttoned up or covered, I could say, oh wait, I have a photo, we don't have to open that wall back up!
I know we don’t know each other, but I am so proud of you for all of your hard work making your dream come true. You continue to inspire me, and I just love the bond between you and Akela 🙏🐾❤️
I want to start by saying shame on your neighbors for not coming and speaking to you first because I know if they did they would have been impressed by you rather than worried about you having septic. Second, I commend you for taking responsibility for knowing you needed to have it and then getting it done! The relief and smile on your face after Chris left and you got the septic installed was great! Everything about you and your lifestyle is commendable and it motivates me and my family to develop our land and learn to DIY. I have a question though, have you named your land yet?
Thank you for sharing this. I’ve contemplated buying land down your way as a family legacy for my son or for me to live on. I’m up near Breckenridge now. I learn SO MUCH from you and Elsa and Barron. I am about twenty or more years ahead of you (okay, maybe 30) in age but I live to build, create and learn. Your channel is an inspiration for me. And, some are complaining about a bad neighbor but maybe they pushed you forward in getting things done that might need to be be done sooner than you think because the world is shifting. We never know how timing works. You learned how to drive big equipment. Plus, you made new friends!
Hi Linnea, I live nearby you and have the exact septic system! I have some building supplies you might like to have, including a propane tank, let me know if you’re interested. I believe it is a 125 gallon tank.
One usually never knows but speculates. I’m assuming for me and my neighbors it was one of two multi-dollar millionaire contractors who lived in the area. One changed the route of the run-off creek by us so he could have more “land” and it flooded us. We had to sue for clean-up. The greed of the greedy is pretty special.
Same thing happened near us. It was a Lady who worked at the Township who reported 2 offgrid people who were living in campers on their lands. She knew they didn't get permits and made them leave their lands. Both sold their lands and left this year. She was a mean bitter old person with nothing to do. Too bad there is such negative energy in this world. People need to chill and raise their vibration and get along with each other! You ROCK girl! Your awesome digging your own septic!❤😊
You handle curve balls like a pro. Wonder if the person that reported you is the same person that reported Kara and Nate for filming in a national park without a permit a few years ago? At least you didn't get fined. You really have it together. Proud to watch your videos.
In order to protect the "Clean Out" from the elements, You should build what appears to be an Outhouse over the top of it. Complete with a crescent moon on the door. Maybe a solar LED light to illuminate that crescent at night. Absolutely an awesome job on the septic system!
Just got home from Church and turned this on. My Pastor literally just talked about how there are always going to be haters. Chin up, keep doing what you do, by the way is an ABSOLUTE AMAZING JOB!! You inspire me every single video. Shine on Linnea!❤🙏
So happy it actually turned out to be a great learning experience (another first) and a blessing in disguise. You now have a new friend in Chris and his wife. That's how life rolls when you have a grateful heart ❤❤❤
I'm 68 and have learned a lot over the years. Just dug up my defective leach field this year and replaced it. You can be proud to put this job in your repertoire. Good luck!! I just subscribed. 😅
Years ago I had made agreements with 2 of my neighbors about doing projects on our properties that all of us didn’t care that we did. All 3 of us were turned in and red tagged. We had to then put up a small no trespassing sign and solar cameras outside. Plus,we eventually put in fencing. I’m sorry this financial burden happened to you before the holidays. You did an amazing job! Be ever so proud! Loved your Christmas wish😂….
when you install the septic tank , make sure to fill it with water so it doesn't float out of the ground. If you have no water source, have the local volunteer fire dept make a "Fill run" for a minor donation, but do not leave it empty, a hard rain will make it pop out of the ground like a bobber on a fishing line while breaking the input lines and output connections.
That’s such a beautiful way to look at a stranger going out of their way to potentially do you harm. Thinking of it as, “motivation to clean it off your plate and clear your mind. “. Everything always works out for our benefit. Well done!🙌🏽🙌🏽👏
Nosy people just tick me off!! I'm sorry you had to be so stressed out! In the end, you prevailed!! Go, Linnea!!!! I love how you take a problem head-on! I love the way you navigate this world! ❤
You can’t learn this any other way. My heart is bursting with pride for you. These are skills you will need along your journey of independence. You are a rock star!
I learned the most from this video. From someone who wants to buy raw land the hardships are so important to see. Thank you so much for sharing! You’re a badass. Way to get it done!
Your willingness to tackle absolutely anything is wonderful. I love that you “showed” the neighbor who instead of meeting you and finding out what you’re about and your plans for the land, chose what I think was a backhanded way dealing with something. My guess is they assumed you didn’t have the money for a septic and maybe hoped it would force you off the land. Ridiculous. Of course I could be wrong. There will always be people who make something their business that is NONE of their business. Sure you want to abide by county regulations but it would have been nice to do it on your own time..within reason of course. It’s not like you’re on a city lot, 40 acres is big! I’m glad it’s done and you have that behind you. I hope this won’t keep you from making it to see family for the holidays, which I think you had planned. Take care, awesome job!!
I tell my dogs I have to work, and now, after years, they finally give me room to work. One is like Akela, he watches from a distance when I use moving machinery, and literally watches my back when I am working on my van or something. They are the best supervisors ever, they let you do your thing and never say a word 😂
Why couldn’t your neighbor have just approached you with his or her concerns about this issue. Rather than reporting you . Keep your spirits up ,you are crushing it Happy holidays Christine Wales 🏴 ❤❤
I just discovered your TH-cam video today. I'm very impressed with what you are doing. I'm a crippled 80 year old man. When I was young and healthy, l always wanted to build a Scandinavian full scribe log and fieldstone home way out in the country, deep in the woods. But life's unfortunate circumstances always kept me from realizing my dreams of the good life. You seam like a very nice and intelligent young lady. My name is Butch, I live in Palm Bay Florida. I wish you all the best. Stay safe and healthy! I'll be watching 😊🎉.
I'm sorry, Linnea 😢I've been seeing this in a few TH-camrs videos lately. Someone out there really has their panties in a bunch about off griders just trying to live. Can everyone just love their own lives!? Again, I'm sorry for this stress. I really enjoy your videos and would like to just like you when I grow up! 💜
I don't know if you read the comments or not but you are amazing!!! You are so inspiring and smart it's unreal!! I know I'm not supposed to envy but I envy you!! I would give anything to be able to do the things you do and be like you I know it sounds weird but don't take it weird because it's just you're just awesome!!! Anyway I hope you have a very Merry Christmas with your family and Akila🎄❣️
Where we live you cannot get your water hooked up until you get a septic and they approve it. They all have their hands out for their part. Don't you just love folks who think their business is messing in everyone else's business? Have a wonderful and blessed day!
I just got done doing the same thing on my land that you’ve done and I’m not gonna tell you how much it cost me. It was a lot , plastic products have gone up a lot in price and you’re required by my state to buy some special sand made specifically for putting around the tanks and Leitchfield…, and because when we dug in the ground, we hit water every single time we tried to bury thd tank, but it was fine when we did the perk test.???? Go figure. So we had to put in French drains all around the tank another 15 grand. ! On top of the cost of the whole septic system. I imagine that doing all the work you did you saved a lot. You’re amazing. Oh and anybody who is watching this the size of the septic tank she just put in is big enough for a colonial house.! Your neighbor failed to chase you away!!! kudos , nothing will ever stop you!
Similar thing happened to my husband and I . We bought 20 acres and were living in a trailer as we built our home/ utilities and all . We were reported to the county by neighbors ( who weren't in view) because of our living situation. Unfortunately we are not really free!
I am probably a lot older than the people here (73), but this country didn't used to be that way. I remember when it was Live and Let Live in the USA. I don't know what it is now, but it isn't good. Makes you want to move to Alaska and buy 40 acres out in nowhere, doesn't it?
@@Thebrowndogcafe its quite sad. This country has become obsessed with the control of others, top on down. And the extortion and extraction of the populace as well. Its become an overbearing nanny state, and FAR too many in the populace not only jump at opportunity, but also initiate the states ability to curtail, regulate and control EVERY aspect of our lives. And then they wonder why the issue with homelessness, living costs and standards and all around air of unaffordability and and ownership in the realm of housing. We have shackled ourselves with our incessant need to be told what and how to do EVERYTHING and that a price is applied to virtually ALL subjects and situations. We have sold us, and continue to do so, down the road to hell. And we continue to hasten our pace while traveling it
Wow, That was very nice of Chris to take the time to teach you❤not many folks will do that these days! Every time my husband gets a new toy(🤣) I want to learn too!! Never know something could happen to him and I need to know how to do the things he does so it doesn’t cost me to hire it done, I live on a farm
The Good Lord always puts the people we need in our path just at the right time! You are a great steward of your land! Hopefully your “neighbors” will see that and not be so judgmental! Hope your holidays with your family is filled with all the love and happiness you so richly deserve!
NICE Job!! I am presuming that your inspections went well. You are a natural when it comes to learning and that is so important. And you were being safe too. Thanks for what you could show us. Congrats!!
You are going to LOVE building your house once you get started. OMG I can't wait to see what you do! You are amazing, I wish I lived near you to aquire some of your confidence & energy!!
You know Linnea this is all a positive !! Thanks to your neighbor, You’re now getting another major component for your home property completed!!! If it were me I would have to say -thank you neighbor for giving that push! Linnea, You have a positive attitude and having such helpful competent help , you learned all kinds of new skills while in the process of doing the work!!! I’m very happy for you that another new project is coming to completion! Stay positive as you are and be happy!! And All will be well in the end♥️💕oh, and I am just so proud of you!!
Great job! Things seem so much more difficult there. I know that codes differ by county & state, but the government really gets too involved. By the way, cedar trees make great wind breaks and privacy fences, if they'll grow there 😊
So sorry to hear about the trouble your having with a neighbour , your life is so different to that I live, but saying that, I truly love watching you my dear , I hope everything goes well for you Merry Christmas 🎄 Linnea and thank you so much for sharing you amazing videos ❤
Energy flows where attention goes, you didn’t let that neighbor get to you, you got busy to fix the problem and that’s what brought Chris to you. Ride the waves and go with the flow! 🏄♂️
Having been a female supervisor in the CA ConservaTion Corps I completely understand the challenge … yeT thrill of taking on projects I initially knew nothing about .. and learning and teaching myself along the way. It was wonderful and celebratory for me to watch you gain and apply new skills ! Congrats on a huge task very well done ! And better than that eliminating the stress ! I too always want to follow the rules and do things correctly! I sleep better that way!😊
Oh I just love how you handled this situation, using it as an opportunity to grow and learn new skills and make new friends. So sorry someone reported you, so very frustrating and stressful. Congrats on getting it done! 👏🏼
You are the gutsiest little lady I've ever known!!!! I'm so proud of you, and I hope that the person who reported you for not having septic before you even begun building your house has major septic issues in the future! hahahaha Anyone who lives close enough to you has to know you are a hard worker and rule keeper, so I do not understand why a neighbor would rat you out. Oh well - it's done and you can be button popping proud of yourself!!! I'm so grateful to Chris and his wife for checking on you - I know how grateful you are for them in your life. You'll be able to do something nice for them one day. Merry Christmas, Linnea and Akela! xoxoxoxoxo
Linnea, We all know there are those individuals who may never be happy and in some morbid way they need to be in other peoples business. You keep doing what you’re doing for you and what makes you happy. Pet Akela for me she is beautiful. Adley 😊
You earned that Carhartt.... Keep at it!! In the County's eyes you did what they asked in a good manner and built a good rapport with the Equipment Rental by the proper use of the equipment. Says a lot about you. Well done! And s/o to Chris, he probably had someone look out for him when he started in the Trades and he is doing the same. Love to see it.
I think it's important to note that "you" are not wrong, but the system is "wrong", and as much as we try to be alone and independant and live in the way we feel is right for us and our relationship with the Earth, ultimately we are still all here together and sometimes we have to adjust to a backwards system. I think you did amazing rolling with what life delivers. These things are always a good opportunity to observe ourselves and our reactions. Much love to you and Akela. Also shout out to James the awesome neighbour! xx
I love that you took it all in stride and didn't let this get you down for long. Your mentality with this situation and any situation is such an inspiration. Taking this as an opportunity to learn and just get it done was not only a way to show that things like this happen and we can all choose how we handle difficulties, but it also just shows how resilient and perservering you are. Thanks for sharing this with us and continuing to show that even with the anxiety and pressure in these tricky situations, you don't let it stop you from living your life. Also it's so important that you're showing the importance of having an emergency fund and the financial responsibility of having land/property. I think a lot of people may underestimate those things so thank you for sharing that. Much love and continued blessings to you!! 🫶🏽🙏🏽
May I also say, things happen for a reason. Look what you just learned, what you accomplished, the sweet people you met! It made you stronger. You came out way ahead from this problem which was really a blessing in disguise ❤
Love your neighbor; as you do yourself. ❤ My goodness, if I was your neighbor! I would have come over and brought you a pineapple and welcomed you in the land! I have a hard time understanding why people operate from a place of fear and hatred. That is just downright ridiculous in my opinion. PERHAPS IT WAS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE! You turned everything around with gratitude and Chris. Your so blessed and lucky to have each other. All of my love to you, Chris and the fur babies.
It’s nice the county allowed you to build a septic prior to any house plans. Typically the system is sized based on the house and number of bathrooms etc. maybe it’s sized for a 4 bed - 3 baths etc…. Once you get your inspection and you’re able to cover it, you can build an outhouse… how nice will that be? It’s nice you can use infiltrators, they are fantastic and better than rock and pipe (unless one is in volcanic areas…they plug up). It’s important people learn to check in with the county agency prior to purchasing land to see what you can do and when.. ie. Living in a trailer or van or building a tiny home etc… could save one alot of headaches. 2 cents from a Civil Engineer.
Absolutely, that is the best way to do it. In this case, the stubborn neighbor that reported her didn't succeed because she already checked everything with the county.
The fact that the tank in underground, how is it that they were aware you didn't have one somewhere under the ground? Now I understand why people have high fences
U have ur vision n u will get to it all when the time is right u did an awesome job n so true to yourself who wouldn’t want to help u succeed it’s so nice to make friends for life in the process ❤enjoy the holidays u deserve it 😊
Wow great job girl! ❤ It's so unfortunate to have neighbors that don't have the decency to talk to you face to face but instead report you. But you turned such a negative into a positive, you obtained knowledge had a great learning experience and made new friends to boot, so proud of you 😊
People like the one that reported you baffle me. How on earth would they even know you didn't have septic? Did they come onto your property while you were away? But on the positive side, you learnt a new skill and rocked at it. You go girl!!
So sorry to hear that about a neighbor. My husband and I owned a camp in upstate NY near a lake. A true camp, no running water and an old holding tank that was built with railroad ties. Not unusual from the 1930's. We hesitated to get a holding tank installed, but went to the town and got a permit to build an outhouse! I filled that outhouse with lavender bundles! So thankful we got the permit when I went to sell it after my husband passed away. Be well and never allow someone's negative comments affect your decisions.
Those "rules" are typically handled within each county and they vary greatly. In my location we looked for remote land and found out there are ALL sorts of details even within remote areas. Little details like "if not subdivided after 1970, and more than 10 acres off grid (outhouses) and gravity fed (non mechanically pumped) water supply is acceptable" . That caveat also permits you to "not need" to apply for a permit. In that county churches are even permitted to have outhouses (and do)
I'm sorry about the unexpected complaint that you needed to deal with when you were not prepared for but as usual you come through and you're a great inspiration for all of us!!!✌️❤️💪
I love your ‘Midwest ethics’. Every thing you do turns to a cherished lesson, this will too. Shake off the negativity, ( looks like you already did but if it creeps back in) dust yourself off, breathe (always) and hold your head high. You got this!
I have loved your energy since the beginning... yes I have been watching 😊 Your handling of this is so exemplary. Thank you for being so authentic, open and honest about this!
Imagine what life could be like if we all just minded our own damn business. You are such an inspiration to this old gal. Carry on.
right.
I was ACTUALLY going to type the SAME thing. God forbid people keep their noses out of other peoples $HIT!!! LITERALLY!!

Oh wow, never would have thought that. Excellent idea.
Yes that totally happens!!!!
Exactly what I was thinking, too!
There’s no need to do that unless your water table is high. So if u live close to a body of water you might need to worry especially if it floods in your area. I have seen that before.
I’m also being watched… it’s really hard . I too am a rule follower… congratulations you are legal
Once you get your septic completed, you should find a toilet and place it nearby. Just out in the open with no privacy. That should give that neighbor something to look out for.
lol yessssss great idea
Since they are probably watching, I wonder if they are even impressed that she's doing most of the work. I know I'm uber impressed 💯❣️
Hell yeah
😆🤣😆 I love that idea, but from what I can tell she wouldn't do that. I don't think she has a hateful bone in that little body of hers. What a sweet girl she is!!

TH-cam neighbours im guessing..
well there's another 15,000 😮
@@alisonhammond4662 yep that was what I was thinking. Some things should not be put on youtube.
Neighbour is a coward and you are an inspiration. Strong and resilient. You can be my neighbour anytime.
You handled that situation perfectly. Got the job done with grace and put your mind right. Also got to run an excavator! Kudos to you🎉😊
Linnea, you did a great job in an unfortunate situation. You should be very proud. Your humility and gratitude is refreshing.
That’s a pretty big hole for one little ladies poopoo … county must think yer gunna have 12 kids .. and they’re gunna have 12 kids and?..
Im sure that "neighbor" is watching and fuming 😤 at how effortlessly you got this done! Congratulations 🎉 and keep moving forward! Happy Holidays! 🎉
And she has people on her side ...they will try something else because they are losers 😂
@Plutogalaxy ARE u the one that turned her in?
P.s. never quit dreaming.
You’re an awesome young lady! When I see a new video I literally say, YAY! 🎉🎉 I love how you triumph in everything that comes your way!!!❤
As someone who moved to a more rural area to get away from so many rules/regulations and ended up with a nosy neighbor who has threatened to call the county on me, I am so sorry to hear you're dealing with this.
I get that. How about going to speaking to her about it first! Give her the chance to get one put in.
I’m so proud of you!!🎉
Have a wonderful Holiday with your family!
Love & More Blessings, till next time! ❤️🙏🏻🥰
Even in the toughest moments, remember that you have the strength within you to overcome any challenge. You are not alone (we are here) - every step you take is a victory.
I love that this neighbor was wanting you to have a bad time, but you had a fun and wonderful experience from it! ❤
Awesome shirt 🍄✌️
@@Atlasmichael1awesome 👍!! Hi from my rural vlogs and Eastern Europe 😊🐕!
@@Atlasmichael1greetings from my countryside videos from Eastern Europe 😊🐕
Hi Linnea, I live nearby you and have the exact septic system! I have some building supplies you might like to have, including a propane tank, let me know if you’re interested. I believe it is a 125 gallon tank.
You are a cool and decent neighbor 👍
Do you know who the trouble maker in the community is - who complained?
Someone had suggested a toilet, with no privacy what so ever 🤣
Just got home from Church and turned this on. My Pastor literally just talked about how there are always going to be haters. Chin up, keep doing what you do, by the way is an ABSOLUTE AMAZING JOB!! You inspire me every single video. Shine on Linnea!❤🙏
So happy it actually turned out to be a great learning experience (another first) and a blessing in disguise. You now have a new friend in Chris and his wife.
That's how life rolls when you have a grateful heart
❤❤❤
That depends on the water table. Where she is at a rain would simply drain away. I live in rural AZ and have the same kind of soil.
Done! Your mettlesome neighbor will be so disappointed!🎉
😂
lol so true! 😂🎉
...that's ridiculous.
The only polite thing to do is invite them over to take a shit in your new toilet.
You handled the whole situation well. I feel somewhere in the purchasing the land this should have been explained to you. Well done girl!
What kind of hateful person would take it upon themselves to just try and cause another person heartache and worry?
Psycho. Kinda cowardly not to talk to Linnea imho
You are so brave! You will be glad when this necessary, although expensive, step is done. Your positive attitude is a example to us all.❤️
Your willingness to tackle absolutely anything is wonderful.
I was thinking the same thing. They wanted to run off the new person from out of town.
Keep your spirits up ,you are crushing it
Happy holidays
Christine Wales 🏴 ❤❤
they are jealous.
Right?! Its unfortunate, but hopefully they will see this video and realize what an amazing person Linnea is (and Akela😊)
That isn't what people do anymore. They don't want to be known, they report it so it is confidential. They hide behind & watch. Sad isn't it?
A coward is the answer. They are the kids that snitched for bonus points with the teachers.
Or even why didn't this neighbor offer to help you.
Thank you for helping Linnea. She is a hard working lady. Love your videos and your dedication. I'm so happy for you 💖
Too the haters out there aka nosey neighbors you can't stop Linnea she's gonna get it done!

@@Linneaandakela Next, what do you think about a swimming pool 🏊♀️?

Great job! Things seem so much more difficult there. I know that codes differ by county & state, but the government really gets too involved.

I'm so proud of you, and I hope that the person who reported you for not having septic before you even begun building your house has major septic issues in the future! hahahaha Anyone who lives close enough to you has to know you are a hard worker and rule keeper, so I do not understand why a neighbor would rat you out. Linnea,
We all know there are those individuals who may never be happy and in some morbid way they need to be in other peoples business.
Damn girl! What an accomplishment. Period. Done.
Also shout out to James the awesome neighbour! xx
Sorry to hear, people suk. 100 acres and still a jackass near by.
My goodness, if I was your neighbor!
@ thanks, I just came across her video so I didn’t know the history.
I'm happy for you , now you got me excited to do the same I like doing the work myself as well!!
The fact that the tank in underground, how is it that they were aware you didn't have one somewhere under the ground? Now I understand why people have high fences
It would be on county records because a permit is needed
@phildennis5592 then that's being real nosy

It's so unfortunate to have neighbors that don't have the decency to talk to you face to face but instead report you. But you turned such a negative into a positive, you obtained knowledge had a great learning experience and made new friends to boot, so proud of you 😊
I wonder if it was a viewer😢
People like the one that reported you baffle me. How on earth would they even know you didn't have septic? Did they come onto your property while you were away? But on the positive side, you learnt a new skill and rocked at it. You go girl!!
She has over 300,000 subscriber's........ I have no idea how they could have known...?????
Thanks!💙💚💛❤
In that county churches are even permitted to have outhouses (and do)
GREAT Job! Shout out to Chris for being so generous.
I feel like you'll discover who they are, shower them with kindness, and your friend group will grow once again.
100% agree
I'm sorry about the unexpected complaint that you needed to deal with when you were not prepared for but as usual you come through and you're a great inspiration for all of us!!!✌️❤️💪
