Dear Dr. Gundry, I want to leave this comment here with the sole purpose of saying thanks for all the work you're doing. I'm sure millions of people all over the world have already benefited from the information you're sharing with us to get healthier and happier, and, no doubt, even more will follow their steps. Thank you for having curiosity to get to the very bottom of most complicated issues, for having courage to stand against corporate propaganda, and for simply being what every doctor on Earth should aspire to be. God bless you, your family, and your friends!

Nothing irritates me more that ad that ask you to watch a video that you cannot fast forward but it goes on forever and does not tell you how long it rambles on. Who on earth has time for that. Dr. Gundry is the worst offender. If he published his diatribes in text, I might be interested. I am writing this here in the hope the message gets to him, because he clearly is not interested in opinions and like to hear himself talk. dr. gundry, please just shut up.

Dr. Gundry-- Thank you so much for the service you provide to the public! I followed a traditional keto diet except with plenty of vegetables and intermittent fasting for a year and lost 70 pounds, but then I started a more physically involved job and found it hard to be satiated after meals. I also would come home from work ravenous! So I started following your version of the keto diet, eliminating lectin-containing foods and adding a moderate amount of resistant starches, and my hunger is gone! I even lost a few more pounds! So thank you, thank you, thank you for your work. I've read your books, and I think you've hit upon what so many doctors and nutritionists are claiming to have found: The proper human diet. You really have redefined what "moderation" and being sensible about our eating patterns means. So again, thank you!

This is a great podcast! Thank you for all this info. I’m sharing it with family and friends. Towards the end, you said if we have any health questions, to put them in the comments. I have a condition called Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE), which has caused my esophagus to narrow considerably, due to thickening of the walls of the esophagus. It causes food to get caught in my esophagus. I have had blood tests and have a long list of foods, which I test sensitive to and which cause the EoE. Most recently I tested sensitive to wheat, egg whites, carrots and peanuts. My list is so long, there isn’t much I can eat anymore. In some cases it is not a bad thing, because some of my favorite foods are high in lectins. If I eat foods on my list (especially rice and wheat), the esophageal sphincter muscle spasms and my esophagus fills with food as I eat and swallow. My first episode was about 40 years ago. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I have ended up in the ER getting an EGD, to open things up. I wasn’t diagnosed with EoE until about 11 years ago. So, my question is: Are you aware of a way to minimize or reverse the extreme thickening of the walls of my esophagus with white (eosinophilic) tissue?

Turmeric tea and other herbal tea are great for evening. Different types of tea have different benefits. The most important things are NOT to put extra sweeteners and/ or dairy to the tea and Not drink them TOO hot. Rooibos tea is healthy too.

    Hi
dr. Gundry. I just learned about a flour called Lupin. I guess it came from the word Lupini, which my mom who was born in Italy used to soak them for hours and maybe for days. My dad used to eat them with daily glass of wine like peanuts.
I have allergies and wonder if this flour is good to use, it is low in carb and high in protein. Would appreciate your opinion. Thanks. Jo

I have been cutting back on stevia lately. Now I eat pure 100% bakers chocolate every night along with brie cheese and port wine. When I make hot chocolate with cocao sometimes I forget to add stevia but I don't notice it.

I just came out of the hospital after a five day stay there! They said I had an infection. It was called UTI and you just addressed it. Dr said they finally found the infection was in my kidney! You said unpasteurized chicken can cause a UTI. That’s exactly what I had a UTI but I didn’t know why because I tried to eat so healthy it must’ve been from the chicken that wasn’t pasteurized never occurred to me. So thank you for this resource. You have provided us with information. It just saddens me because I don’t think this hospital realizes What happened and they won’t even put Stevia on the menu when you choose to have coffee or tea they surprise Supply the other stuff none of it is legal as far as a diabetic is concerned and I am a diabetic. I’ve been listening to every one of the podcast that you put out this morning. It’s taking a long time and I’m still not finished, but I so appreciate your information and I have shared it with a lot of folksas I was listening this morning. Thank you for what you do and God bless you!

Steven, when you don’t have the systems in place to process sugar that is the consequences. For a specific group of people, that is not the consequence. Sugars are not that complex. For the masses .I.e. you are correct that is the consequence of eating /ingesting too much glucose. I have been following you for some time. Your presentation skills are good. Research is mutually exclusive. I beg to differ in this conclusion of yours. To each his own. Cheers! 🎉

I drink vegetable and beets juice every day, and to prevent oxalates, I add lemon juice. Lemon contains citrate, and citrate prevents kidney stones. Lemon juice also makes veg. and beet juice tastes less bitter and earthy.
