most of the time when I follow something like this there's always something that doesn't work but this one was perfecto!! also, I never leave comments.
Absolutely, you can use the 'Track Camera' feature in After Effects to achieve a similar effect to what you'd get with 'Track Motion'. 'Track Camera' is typically used for 3D camera tracking in scenes with camera movement, allowing you to integrate 3D elements seamlessly. However, it can also be adapted for 2D tracking purposes. While 'Track Motion' is more straightforward for tracking a single point or a flat surface, 'Track Camera' can offer additional depth and perspective, making it ideal for scenes where the camera is not static. Just remember that 'Track Camera' might require a bit more processing time and a good understanding of 3D space in After Effects. Hope this helps!
If the lines are slipping you might need to go frame by frame for a few seconds to keep the tracking on. You might also want to try to start tracking from the end of the clip or the middle. Just keep testing until you find the best spot where it won't slip.
@@RealVideoFx one more question, I got it to work on a top down clip, but does this workflow work for a clip from a roughly 45 degree angle? Basically a fly over, that seems to be where I'm struggling. Thanks for getting back to me!
Yes mocha is a planer tracker so it tracks flat surfaces not just the objects. You might just need to go frame by frame and adjust the x spline tool keyframes. It actually works extremely well with that type of shot. Here is another video that tracks a windshield with mocha. It might help you out! th-cam.com/video/6fNYFJyzAxM/w-d-xo.html
The main reason is I’m just moving up and not really moving perspective. So it’s just faster to use tracker on a clip like I used. You could use mocha as well on this effect.
hello, please can you or someone tell me how i can do this after tracking something with Mocha FX, if i generate a stroke effect on that mask, i cant see "'Dashes'' option in the stroke editor. How i convert that mocha tracking to a shape layer? I am a AE newbie sry :)
Thank you so much for sharing.
Please make more of this 🙂
Thank you so much!
thank you very much! helps me a lot!
Awesome 👏🏻

Can you achieve this same effect using track camera instead of track motion?

God Bless You Dear.
thanks I have a question, How can I duplicate the stroke and animate it but in the Z axis in 3D for example, when I do it the tracking is lost
Let me see what I can do to show you how.
Having trouble getting the lines to stay put on the objects, even though I'm doing it just like you explained. Any ideas?

Why not use Mocha in AE for this? Which is better than the other?

Usefull!
Glad it was helpful!
I wish you more such sharing. Can you share with the files? you have a great channel. :)

Thanks very much
Any time
@@RealVideoFx keep videos like this coming please. Is there a way we can make property lines for lots ?
What do you mean exactly? Do you mean to have just property lines without animation?
@@RealVideoFx like inside this property you got here but you putting like lots into it with the animations
Great work, but i wonder why you are watching the preview in full resolution?
Why not?
Thank you❤
You're welcome 😊
