This is the best 5 engine mods you can do without adding forced induction! We all want to have the power and feel of a V8 but truth be told.....we can’t. It’s not possible. Regardless of where you look, it won’t happen. So I’m giving y’all the best 5 things to give your engine raw horsepower and will easily put you over 400 horsepower with the proper tune. Follow these steps and I promise you that can run with the #V8 cars and outrun most #V6 cars.

This man presents a very simple picture of making more power with the Pentastar engine. As he says its more air flow allowed in and out. Power tuning can also help but that can be a very difficult process.

The heat shield that you got on the cold air intake is super important also if you run some ducting from behind the front lower left fog light that'll give you a ram mirror effect and it'll also keep the hot air away from your intake from the engine.
I own the hemi 300s and before I got this car I drove the challenger V6 as my rental for 3 months and I will say I was very impressed especially with the newer auto trans...they aren't like the V6s of the 90s that's for sure. I ended up finding an AWD V8 but honestly it was a really hard choice between this or a few years newer with the V6.

I have a v6 300 and it’s extremely Loud 😂 I changed the tubes that’s connect to the engine to some aftermarket ones no cats and srt mufflers before the srt mufflers I had carvens and it sounded like a cammed hemi which definitely miss that sound I also have a cold air intake and a throttle body spacer as well and a pedal commander i actually dusted an older v8 Chrysler he raced my Friend and I passed him 😂 he called us ricers all I need is the spark plugs a new throttle body and I plan on dyno tuning it but I something I’m considering is swapping the engine out one day to a demon engine maybe even a hellephant depending on the price

I drive a Scion TC. It only has a rear #mufflerdelete no tune. No #coldairintake just basic. But I wonder would you ever start giving help/advice for other cars???

For the V6, the 80mm. For the V8, 85mm. Ported on both if you have the funds for it.

Well this is retarded. Pedal commander doesn’t do shit for acceleration except eliminate the delay of the throttle body opening from pushing in the gas pedal.
Can’t use the peddle command sadly with the Diablo tune, if you plan on getting it

You won’t find any because the headers and exhaust manifold are manufactured/molded as one unit. The headers are not a separate piece.

My educated guess would be around 340 or higher. Just judging from estimated power gains on the things I’ve done should put it there

So with the kit, you don’t actually need a tune. Of course it’s better if you do tune it, maximizes power/performance. But you can run it with zero issues without a tune

They’re nice, really pricey for what they are
In all reality they’re better than a open CAI. They’re strictly drawing in colder air versus any available air in the engine bay which is hot.

But that intake isnt Cold air if inside compartment and not sealed
I think I've said this before, but the closed box CAI's are the best. They deliver much cooler air with minimal effort and the numbers in HP terms are higher.
It's still a CAI, Just pulls in warmer air.

Realistically you shouldn’t. They’re all bolt ons but then again, it wouldn’t hurt to get help. Two sets of eyes on it to make sure nothing is off or wrong

There is a point where the more air is not better.
Put a cheap cold air intake and just the sound alone will make you love your car even more
How many horsepower would it add if I did steps 1-4?
Cold air adds ~8HP
Exhaust adds (Street) ~10HP+
The others are variable....best power mods (NA) are cams, headers, block size increase and proper ECU tuning however there are more mods but depends on their quality

Ripped supercharged pentastars will put down 400whp. all motor pentastars with the above mentioned mods with barely break 300whp.

There are all motor mods for 4 bangers doing 500HP so for V6 it is possible to go 400+
