I am from a small rural community in Louisiana called Social Springs. I do one of your videos at least 3 times a week . I stuggle getting the patterns down at times but they are enjoyable, beneficial and challenging.
Yes Carolyn, this is a bit faster pace than some of my earlier videos. I am really happy you were able to keep up. Keep practicing - you will see it will become more easy for you and will help keep you moving more freely and swiftly. 👍
Hi Daniel - thank you for checking in and so glad you are finding these workouts beneficial and fun. You should be proud of yourself. These videos are challenging and require work, repetition and a good attitude. It sounds like you have put in all three. Thanks for checking in and letting us know how you are doing. Keep up the good work!
Hello Trish from the UK. So glad you can join us. Im really glad you had fun with the workout. It can be quite challenging for some so glad you took on the challenge and did well. keep up the good work.
Thanks Lauren I enjoyed your dance combo. I felt it was great for cognitive challenge & good for balance & coordination. I’ll definitely be revisiting this one 😃
Hi Joleann!! So great to hear that you enjoyed the dance combo, it was so fun wasn't it?! We are so glad that you will be revisiting this class - hooray!!
Joleann - thank you for your comments. I try not to make my classes to dancey because I want to be more inclusive , but sometimes you just gotta dance hahaha. Thanks for checking and and letting us know how you are doing.
Great workout Lauren! The coordination exercises are always a good challenge for me. The first exercise set was similar to one I struggled with earlier in the week with Polly. I’m happy to say I did much better this time. The mambo exercise really loosened my gait for the day. Overall I believe this workout helped with my most troubling symptoms, stiffness and rigidity and maintaining proper gait. Thank you Lauren!
Hi there Eric!! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with this class!! So great to hear you found this class so satisfying and that it addressed some symptoms that give you trouble!!
Hi Lauren, this workout was challenging for me as I feel, in the last couple of months , losing my balance. If I practice this workout it will help me a lot. Thank you so much Lauren.
Hi Grace, thank you for sharing a bit about your recent experiences. We are sorry to hear that you have had balance troubles and do hope that this class will help you. Please reach out if you need any support at all - we are here to help you!!
Hi Jennifer!! Great to hear from you and know that you are exercising with us from NZ!! Thank you for your feedback and we encourage you to keep at it as repetition really does help master these patterns :)
Jennifer - thanks for your comments. Yes, with practice this will get easier and when it does, you will know you are learning and getting better with your moves. I agree, it was a bit fast but that was intentional. I want to be able to challenge you and force you to move faster since Parkinson's very often slows you down. Thank you for working so hard and putting in the effort. I promise it will be worth you while. Thanks
GREAT!!!! Studies show people with Parkinson's need to move everyday - exercise is so key! Forcing yourself to move more quickly is also important to combat Bradykinesia. Thanks for working so hard with us. Thanks for your hard work and support.
Welcome to our comment board - so glad you joined in and let us know how you are doing. The marches can be very challenging. We are not just marching, we are marching laterally which makes it more "fun". Stick with it - try to march in place for a few rounds and then add the lateral movement. That may help make you more successful or just give up the lateral move completely and only work on marching in place. As long as you are moving you are successful - your a winner! Thanks for your comments. I hope to hear from you again. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and share your experiences friend. We greatly appreciate it and hope that Lauren's advice is supportive to you!!
I enjoyed the class…I was able to keep up with all of the exercises. I really like the standing exercises…my heart rate was up and my endurance was good! Thanks…Andrea from Ohio
I have been doing this class every day for a week and during my daily walk I have found that my affected arm is less heavy and is swinging more loosely. Way hey !
David, that is quite an endorsement for the effectiveness of the video. Would you mind if we shared your comment with your first name and last initial? I think others would be inspired by your success. Thank you- Nina
Anne - GREAT WORK!!!! I'm so impressed with your effort and really glad you are seeing results. Stay with it and enjoy your progress. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Hi..currently in Israel. Male, 71, your pace was too fast and too many dance steps for me. Because of the fast pace and trying to keep up with you ,I omitted a few of the middle sections. Thank you.
Hi friend, thank you so much for your feedback. We will definitely take it on board and appreciate you sharing your experiences with this class. We encourage you to give this class another try when you feel ready as our participants often find that it feels a little easier second time around :)
Too fast. Exercises not broken down enough with more build up practice. This is difficult for anyone with coordination challenges. I’m sure your heart is in the right place, but my feet aren’t. You cd 17:52 make your side more accessible have you considered grading the classes, say, easy, moderate, advanced. It’s dispiriting to start a class only to find its beyond your reach - even with extra effort. For the record I’m 76, diagnosed in 2020 and based in London UK

I use these exercises daily to keep myself focused. I find lifting arms quickly difficult. Hope it gets better with practise.

Hi Nadia - hope you enjoyed this weeks workout and were able to get all the patterns and tempo changes. Enjoy your weekend.
Hi, this is my first comment ever. I find it very very helpful to have these exercises but I'm having trouble with my March. And I don't know why
