Thanks so much for this. I learnt alot. I was asked to do a testimonial for someone and it took me ages to find a tutorial of how to record a testimonial via my PC webcam. I could only find ones that would record your screen. I tried option 3 but it said I needed to upgrade NVIDIA drivers after I'd gone through all the settings in OBS, but my driver wasn't listed on the NVIDIA download page, so I gave up and went with the Zoom option.

this is fantastic , but how would we use OBS and get effects similar to zoom virtual or blurred background?

In OBS you can either use a real green screen, or if you have a powerful graphics card from Nvidia, they have tools too.

No, OBS Studio has no editing capabilities. Unless you count making changes while you record.

Hi! am i able to use a webcam (logitech c922) and record myself on windows laptop (asus) live singing with effects from pro tools? Because im participating in a singing contest and i need to send them the file cover.

I'm not familiar with the output from Pro Tools. But perhaps it can be captured by OBS. OBS can usually do it all.

Another way to record videos using the webcam on a computer is to record privately to TH-cam. You do not need 1000 subscribers if recording from a computer.
