Great helpful advice mate! In my vids I manage to get away with generic/non pro free standing room lights from any department store. Good enough for now. Will upgrade to pro lighting later
I don’t have a lot of room in my workspace. What I did was to get a smaller/cheaper LED panel and a boom arm that mounts on my desk. I point the main light towards my wall and the refraction softens the light really well. I get most of the performance of a soft box with out taking up the realestate
Great info BUT how do I use the webcam to make the video? Meaning how do i access the camera to record and then download? I know I can do a youtube live but I want to recorde, have edited, and then upload...

Use Zoom that’s what I use .OBS it’s a complicated system you almost have to be a profesional not very friendly .
