I did this a long time back but here goes: (1)stopped sugary food (2)walked more often during the day (3)ate slower (made the stomach feel fuller with slightly less food)
Seriously being healthy shouldn’t be complicated. An easy to stick to plan like yours is all we really need. Currently, I am taking it one meal at a time and looking around to see if I can choose healthy foods no matter what I’m doing or where I’m eating. And incorporating more exercise into my life (no more couch potato).
@@jenshark4 it's easy for you but not that easy for everyone. Because some people are seriously addicted to food, it's all mentality goes way beyond food really that makes it hard for some people. They know what they need to do but it's like a drug.
@@Winniehutjr13 I never said it was easy but I said that it shouldn’t be complicated. A three-step plan is about as simple as it gets. I have lost weight since my last post 10 months ago. I work out occasionally. I track what I eat. And so far I have had a slow but successful weight loss. I am rooting for you. Keep trying. I am also addicted to food. And I have junk food addicts living in my house with me. Which makes it even harder. It is an uphill battle. I know you can do it! Keep researching until you figure out what’s best for you. Then follow that path. Sometimes things change and you have to change that path. Keep adapting keep adjusting keep trying. Success will come at some point.
I am at 300 lbs and I think the best advice is to exercise everyday for 10-20 minutes and don’t overdo it. And I make sure to do that extra walking inside the house cleaning multiple times a day to get more steps in. Sometimes I only workout 6 minutes. But shit it’s better then zero. We got this !!
10 months ago i gave up soda. That was huge for me ! i don't eat candy and fast food (i stopped for awhile and i tried it again and it makes me sick to my stomach when i have it ). I exercise 30-40 minutes 5 days a week. This seems to work really well for me. So far i have lost about 20 lbs since mid- January 2019.
Yep. I quit lots of junk food. Now it gives me a stomachache and junk food taste nasty too. Your taste buds change. You can actually taste the carbs in the junk food.
Same, giving up the soda was the first thing we did years ago. I lost 20 lbs on a "water challenge," but continued to have the soda occasionally. Years later to a month ago, I gave up soda again. I've since lost 11 pounds working up to a gallon of water a day, two days of running/jogging/walking. I alternate between yoga, stretches and light cardio for about 20-30 minutes on my other three weekdays. The weight loss is slow, but steady. My diet is so much better also. I tried a soda about a month after I cut them out and it was literally like sipping a bottle full of sugar. I feel more energized after a month of my changes, but not as much as when I weighed in 42 pounds less years ago. I never wanted to be like people you see one day they're average weight, healthy-looking then a month later they're skinny, face is sunken in and they're unhealthy-looking.
Great job Melissa Santora! I've been doing something similar since the new year, cutting out soda and cutting out carbs after 1pm. It has been working really well finding carb substitutes. And if you want to eat choc or candy or anything bad for you, just eat it by 1pm. I work out maybe 40 min 3 days a week and i've lost 12 lbs.
What i noticed thats helped me is to stop being so negative when i have a bad meal. Usually i would let that ruin my week or day or month. Now i just say okay lets move on .
I used to give up if I stuff up with my 'diet' and tell myself I'll start again on next Monday...and then I would binge the rest of the week on junk food in preparation of being 'good' the following week. It was a vicious cycle which did not work. Now if I feel like cake, chocolate (I have a sweet tooth) I'll have it however I will have a really healthy meals that day..or I occasionaly substitute my dinner for a whole block of chocolate if I have a craving ..haha (I know thats not that healthy)however I have lost 30 kgs last year over 8 months and have so far kept it off...
This was the first weight loss video that made me feel safe after gaining weight from recovering from disordered eating and health issues. I’ve gained weight after being so underweight, but now I want to be more fit but do it in a good/safe way. So thank you for making it a safe and welcoming conversation.
The most informative video ever. Lost alot of weight on diets and gained even more after i stopped. I've been working out lightly for 2 months and adopted healthy eating habits and so far i have lost 18 pounds.
Great vid, totally agree. The big thing that helped me lose 1 1/2 stone over the last few months is to stop hating on myself. I am so much more motivated to move if I do it from a place of enjoying my body rather than thinking it is gross or needs to change. Also if I get stuck in self loathing I am much more likely to ‘comfort’ eat, which means I hate myself AND hate what I’m doing AND am getting fatter and more tired. Lol!
Intermitted fasting has done wonders for me - it even helped with digestion, bloating, cravings, everything! Best part is that it's more of a lifestyle change than "diet" :)
Oh I love intermittent fasting! I totally agree it relaxes my digestive system and it’s such a break on the body! I feel amazing when I wake up, like light and super energized! Also lost lots of weight(I eat generally healthy though too). Edit: I fast for 16 hours
@@LoveSweatFitness hi i just wanted to say i have been trying to lose weight for a while last time a weighd my self I was 12 stone 7lbs at 5 foot 7 as 18 year old girl . Unfortunately I got of the wagon for a couple of weeks a gain back about 5 pounds to half a stone and lost my fitness this video inspired to start again i am hoping to lose to stone
This is literally what I needed to hear today! Thank you for telling me that I am enough and that living a healthy lifestyle is much more achievable! 💕
It’s been 3 weeks since I gave up coffee, processed foods, fast food, and eating rice everyday. I started drinking 80oz-100ozs of water daily, meal prepping healthier and nutritious food, tuning into my hunger cues so I’m not overeating, getting 6K-8K steps daily, and incorporating a HIIT work out 1x a week. Lost 7lbs so far in a healthy way 🙏🏼🙏🏼 But I’m not just doing it for weight loss, but to start a healthier lifestyle and feel good from the inside out! Love it! 🙌🏼
Dam good shit bro!!! I love seeing people do so well even if it’s baby steps one day at a time. I’m going to start to lose weight today I am 72lbs overweight and I’m gonna start eating healthier and exercising more. I turned 20 a few days ago on November 12, 2022 and I have so many goals I wanna accomplish, from getting in shape! To getting my drivers license, to getting back into school to pursue a career I want just so many things but I’m so glad to hear you’re doing good you have no idea how much other people’s successes motivate me!!!
I lost 50 lbs in 8 months by eating between 1200-1400 calories and working out 3-5 days a week (30 min cardio, 20 min weights). I would eat mostly lean meats and vegetables and try to avoid carb heavy foods. I also stopped drinking pop completely and haven’t touched it since in over a year. Also tip: if you’re craving something sweet try to find diabetic candies (I ate “sugar free” jelly beans) and those chocorite bars (100 cal no carbs no sugar). I developed a whole new relationship with food that I can’t imagine ever eating what I did before. It’s amazing
I am for the first time ever over weight. I have but this on and it’s affecting my health. So I got in here to see videos or get help to stop complaining about weight and take responsibility for what I eat. Your video is the best and the closest to what I’m wanting to do. I’ve tried everything else and I always get exhausted or weighing myself daily has me discouraged so thank you for that tip. I need help I know nothing about food and what I did know or thought I knew the information had changed so I’m overwhelmed and lost a little but I’m definitely ready to take responsibility for what I eat and my health. - in need of help, direction, and support for this new journey.
I did one of your arm workouts yesterday and This just popped up on my feed while on the elliptical...thank you - I am 47 and have already done some of these things. You have a new subscriber! 😁 I have learned every body is different especially if you have a chronic disease and pain. Do what you need for your body and age !
Yes! The diet one 100% I'm forever seeing people on the mum fb groups asking how people lost their baby weight and keeps suggesting different diets. All I did was how smaller meat portions, bigger veggie portions and stopped eating so many "quick oven foods" like meat pies and sausage rolls! I still ate "bad" foods, but I craved them less
I love intermittent fasting. I do the 16:8 method most days but I’ve done omad a few times too. My eating window is noon to 8 pm. Lost 30 lbs in 3 months combined with low carb (100 net carbs a day) & working out 4-5 days a wk 😊
My first goal is to get into the 160s. I started at 181 lbs and I’m 5ft tall. I’ve been working out Monday thru Friday for an hour for the last month and I’ve changed my eating habits. Now I weigh 171.2. I’m giving myself 3 more weeks to get into the 160s.
You’re the only person I’ve actually listened to and watched the whole video. You’re speaking only facts and you’re encouraging with your voice. I’ve been doing so many diets myself and I lost some weight but stopped here and can’t go any lower. I will stop doing the things you mentioned and I hope it will work for me. I will also workout at least 3 times a week, if I can even 4. I will try to dance, walk, run and eat healthy and on time. Thank you so much for this video
Thank you for this video! I used to go on "diet " all the time and this time I stopped calling it that and just started living a healthy lifestyle and that's because of the push you gave me. Your amazing!
These tips are amazing, and best of all they're free! I will say this: I agree that scrolling/comparing isn't good. Yet for me, it's literally what I have to do to stay on track. I became complacent with myself 4 years ago and packed on 20 lb. So, oddly enough, I find triggering myself with images of those more beautiful than me keeps me away from food.
I love these suggestions. Stopping and saying something positive when your mind begins to veer negative has CHANGED my life. We're trying for a second baby and---it's been over half a year without a positive yet. I'm 28, I kind of want to get on it already. I've had 8--yes, eight--pregnancy announcements from close friends and family in that time and I was getting into a dark place. One day, a particularly hard day for me emotionally, a pregnant woman walked down the aisle I was in at the store. My mind went real negative--I stopped my thoughts immediately, walked over to her with a big smile and reminded her just how beautiful she was. We had a conversation for awhile and she admitted being seriously terrified to give birth. She wasn't joking, I could see the fear in her eyes. I did my best to tell her what I could to help, and I saw the change in her. She was put in my path and I in hers for that reason. Mutual assurance. I told her our bodies were hardwired to do this--it's one of our normal processes. The doctors at the hospital are highly trained and deal with births every day, multiple times a day--they deal with hard situations, they're trained to spot things and prevent issues. They took amazing care of me and I was absolutely terrified. It HURT like mad, but I couldn't tell you now what it feels like, I hardly remember. And even in the moment, the least tolerant to the strongest--we make it through. And so will you. They see tears of all kinds--you'll be taken care of very well. In a weird way, it calmed me and reminded me that I've been pregnant before--twice before--and I will be again. That just wasn't the time. In the meantime, I'm going to live my best life every day.
I found my routine I work out every day but different exercises. One day Zumba next day weights third day Cardio mixed with martial arts fourth day is just running for 30 Minutes fifth day I do mills le grit. Everyone’s type of body is different. We can’t compare ourselves. My routine works for me.
5 thing I personally did 1. Counted my carbs not my calories 2. Increased my water intake from 60oz to 80oz 3. Walked 12-15k steps a day 4. Worked out 4 times a week. 5. Stopped eating gluten
@@arlofinch4628 Not really. If you make better food choices in general you can still consume gluten and have no issues. I still eat pasta and bread but have healthier options and smaller portions of these things and am loosing weight. Moderation is key not cutting it out entirely.
@@SohiHien i wasn’t saying people need to cut it out. i was just responding to the person saying it does “absolutely nothing” for the original commenter
I’d suggest not NOT eating gluten. I have Celiac disease. Gluten fills you up big time, it can be high in protein as well. Also a gluten free diet is extremely expensive, trust me. But you gotta do what works for you I guess…. I got celiac disease when I was 16… I wish I could just have like 1 regular noodle once ever again.
I’m so subbing. This is so inspiring and motivating. I’m trying to lose about 20 pounds to be able to feel better about myself. I’ve noticed that I’ve been kinda falling into that obsessive cycle about weighing everyday and counting every morsel I eat. I lost 10 pounds but gained a few back and it was super discouraging but watching this gave me hope again. Thank you 💕
Get an energetic dog. Find a sport you LOVE and do it just because you love it rathe than because it’ll make you lose weight. I was very ill a few years ago and it taught me a lot. Take care of the inside and the outside will take care of itself. Your heart and lungs etc are working non stop to keep you alive. Your poor digestive system is trying to keep your body in balance. Stop fighting it. Ask yourself at every food decision:”what would my body prefer?” LOVE your health. Love your strength. Focus of nurturing yourself from the inside. Get out in that amazing world. Off the sofa and into the fresh air. Enjoy being alive. The rest will follow.
I just discovered you, and I instantly fell in love with your honesty girl!! Bye-bye scale for a month. Seriously, first thing in the morning i scaled myself and i realized that my husband was not awake, my kids still in bed, so there was no one to make me mad or sad but the scale. He was ruining my mood before anyone could say: good morning! No other words..you got a friend in me :)
I love how you want us to be beautiful and how I'll just to eat healthy and not exhaust our mental strength to try to get there I really like your positivity and how you explain things so simple
I’m on a slow journey to get my health back. I had my entire thyroid removed as well as parathyroid glands one year ago. It has been a rough journey as I’ve battled all of your hypo symptoms as well as dealt with very sudden drops in blood sugar. I’m so glad I found your channel! Because of you I started making some changes in my diet and lifestyle. I love love love the vital proteins! My hair and skin looks healthier and I’m 45 years old. I’ve lost 6 pounds in last two months. I walk on the treadmill 5 days a week due to neuropathy and extreme fatigue. I’m definitely going to implement your exercise videos as I listen to my body. I also get out in sunshine here in Alabama as much as I can cause my vitamin D is low! Love your vibe and positivity!! Keep those positive videos coming as I watch your videos almost everyday!! So glad there’s people out there who understand the hypo life!!!
Wow, wow, wow, thank you so much for you sweet words! Also, thanks for sharing your story! Dealing with health issues is never easy, but I love how you are taking it one day at a time and listening to your body!
I can definitely relate to the stop scrolling habit. The second you put your weight loss pictures up my first thought was “wow must be nice” which is not how I want to feel. By the end of this video I feel more like “if she can do it so can I” thank you!
I stopped sugar, started working out 3 days a week, drink lots of water and I fast sometimes intermittently, sometimes for longer periods, but fasting has helped me lose 20 lbs in the last 2 months.
I did the Keto Diet since Dec 2018 and stop doing it about a month ago.Felt so tired all the time! I did lose 10lbs and my body it’s less inflamed due to the low carbs in my body and water weight lost . Now I’m just cutting down my portions and drinking more water. Will definitely work out before TV and in hopes it makes a difference!
Thank you so much for sharing, Katie! I'm currently on my fitness journey (started in 2016, but plateaued until September of last year), and to date I've lost roughly 35 lbs. When I started getting serious in 2018, I actually found your workout videos and have been following your routines since I workout at home-- they're so simple, but they work your body! I just wanted to thank you, and also respond to your video :) Something that really helped me see a lot of results was to start thinking of foods in terms of nutritional value. Like, whatever I'd eat, I started thinking, "how does this help my body?", and it really helped! Now, I can look at say a sweet potato (which is high in carbs) and be like, "yeah, this has a lot of nutrients, it's worth eating", and then turn down that starchy processed bagel because I know which one will benefit me more. And I even noticed that reducing processed carbs and eating more veggies made my body crave the veggies more!
What sucks is that I've always lived a healthy lifestyle, I ate/drank clean, and worked out consistently 5 days a week 30 minutes high intensity+ 10k steps by walking everyday and yet I'm still at the same weight, I don't know what to do to loose weight, I only want to loose 10 pounds but I can't.
I would say learning to eat for your body type is most important. Discovering that I am a mesoendomorph has been a game changer for me. My body type is simply too efficient with carbs, and I don’t need to consume them as much as other body types. It’s also guided me a little more regarding which workouts will best impact my weight loss journey.
*I'm working on chewing my food 32 times before I swallow. So often I just scarfed down everything because I'm stressed, I'm upset, I'm in a rush, or all of the above. On days that I do this, it helps my digestion immensely! And I also don't overeat. Anyone else working on eating mindfully?* :-)
That's so smart! It always feels weird at first, but you won't have to physically count forever because hopefully it will just create that habit of slowing down in general.
This was exactly what I needed to hear...3:24... My best weight reduction advise is to avoid drinking calories. That was the first step in my 115-pound weight loss journey.
what I love most about you video is that you show your whole body. There are thousands of bogus weight loss videos out there which you can tell the creator put the weight back on because they place camera from angle above and only of head and shoulders. I like real content from people who are actually walking the talk. Thank you for your videos!
Agreed! Changing simple things you do can help. I lost 60lbs and didn’t weigh myself for 9 months. Wasn’t until people pointing out how much weight I had lost that I finally caved. I had lost 46 lbs by then. I swear sometimes it’s a mind game, because I didn’t see it but everyone else did!
Very good advice! The only thing I would say is if you’re going to watch Netflix do it while you are on a treadmill or elliptical! We recently got a treadmill for the house and while I don’t really focus as much on the show I’m watching it does help me keep my head up instead of constantly looking at how much time I have left!
As a teen who is highly insecure and has comments made on my weight I gained this video highly helped. It felt that my weight gain happened so fast meaning so should my weight loss. My original weight wasn’t a good thing either though. I was very sad and depressed but when I gained weight I went over board. Now I eat regularly and I am a healthy person but im choosing to lose weight to finally feel comfortable in my body again. I feel very motivated by this video !
seeing this video is so amazing, it remembered me to look at my before pictures and take new ones. I can clearly see a big difference in de fat around my hips en belly. I stopped doing the HBSG because I'm a student in a student home with a very thing floor so my neighbor would kill me if I jumped around every day. But I learned to eat healthier, I do sports outside, stopped looking at those models on Instagram and only weigh myself every 3 weeks, so exactly what you told in the video!
Oh you are awesome! Loved this video. My two favourite things were: 10 minutes a day to commit to is just so doable particularly being a busy Mum of 2! Also I loved the be the best version possible of yourself. Commonsense but such a good reminder. Cant wait to see more of your videos, totally subscribing thanks hon x
Netflix is the killer for me! When I’m at home it’s literally all I do. And if I’m watching tv I want a snack, and a glass of wine. And I can never just have one glass of wine, or one snack. I’ll try the treadmill idea!
I am 15 and was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism a few months ago. After starting my medication, and started gaining weight. Listening to your story with your journey through getting healthy has helped me so much. My excuse for my weight gain was my slow metabolism, but I am sick of living like this. I cannot wait for my healthy lifestyle!!!
Love Sweat Fitness I want to commit to ditching making excuses for my unhealthy snacking and “cheat” meals. I’m such a stress eater and I’m finishing up grad school currently and the stress I feel from school is always an excuse to eat unhealthily. I like how you highlighted in the video that it is never about DIETING!! But making healthier choices and saying NO to bad food you used to always eat it a hard transition. That’s why I want to still avoid the bad things as much I can, but maybe if I get a strong urge try to make the choice as healthy as possible. For example, my boyfriend is bringing home pizza for us tonight and I will only have a small slice (lots of veggies as toppings) but also have a heaping serving of veggies too (with a big glass of water)! I want to be “less strict” on myself so my brain doesn’t go into “diet” mode but just get into the habit of making better CHOICES on the daily because this is a health JOURNEY! 🤗💞💪🏻
I'd like to eat more mindfully. I think I eat unhealthy food more or eat too much when I'm doing things like watching Netflix (as you mentioned). It would also be great to think about taste and texture of food, as well as appreciate where it came from. It's my new goal but I'm sure I can commit to it. 😁
Thanks so much for your video! I ordered the scale and am so excited. I met my fiance last year and I've gain 15 pounds of 'comfort weight'. I'm anything but comfortable and I'm getting married in 4.5 months. I am devoted to exercising, eating clean and training for 2 half marathons I'm running this spring/summer.
I was a 5, 5 11 year old that weighed 136 pounds a few months ago. I’m still 11, but now I weigh 115 pounds. I haven’t eaten sugar and any junk food in months. I workout for hours everyday. I plan to continue to get stronger and more fit. I love lifting and running.. Im kinda underweight now, but I’m trying to fix that. Getting fit is probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Im excited to continue my journey in becoming the best me. If you’re struggling with yourself and insecure, I just want to let you know… You’ve got this!
Cristina Martin Porcel - you might try walk-in-place a bit while doing some homework tasks. Just some movement helps and it also keeps you alert mentally. Think of it as deliberate fidgeting. You'll have to think about what works best for you, but you might try setting up to stand and move around a little while working at the computer. You can buy desk accessories for this, but you also can just look for books or boxes that put the keyboard at a comfortable height. You will also need to raise your monitor - I use a commercial thing now but I used stacks of books for years. Just use books you don't need to look at.... A little standing desk that can be set on a table (or stacks of books to simulate one) can be used for working with pen and pencil also. I think they are basically what are called lecterns in school. If your school has them, take a close look sometime and think about if they might work for you. You might want to have a flat or inclined surface, so think about how to set things up to suit your preference. Walk-in-place is good to do while reading either at the computer or on a pad or on a phone or (gasp!) from a real old-fashioned hardcopy book. For the hardcopy book, you will need to figure out if it's better to set up a stand for it to free your arms or if you can hold it while walking. Again, clever use of stacks of books and boxes might be possible as a trial at least. You want to avoid straining your neck, so getting it at the right height for you is important. When I read from the phone or play games/view or videos while walking in place, I keep reminding myself to lift up the phone rather than staring downward. Really makes a difference. Also alternate walk in place steps (I like mild marching up and down and also sidestepping myself for such multitasking) with some arm movement. Just doing the upper body (or whole body) part of a standing stretch will help. You don't have to do much, just a little for variety. I actually stand continuously at the computer (to which I am sometimes attached at the wrist, I'm a scientific translator), so I type standing as well. If you prefer to type sitting down, trying setups that allow you to quickly move from sitting to standing and back again might help. Just the act of getting up and down from a sitting position is good exercise. You should take computer breaks frequently anyway. Maybe play a short game while walking in place for a few minutes. Or walk around the room. Whatever keeps you moving and the oxygen flowing to your brain. I also sometimes have done "chair walking", basically doing walk in place movements while seated. This can help also. Again, think deliberate organized fidgeting and take every opportunity to pop out of your chair and walk a bit without disturbing your work. You don't want to take too long a break in the middle of a project, but you can experiment with how many minutes. Also remember that the brain works things out while sleeping - so if you are stumped by something, sometimes the best thing to do is to leave it until the next day and come at it fresh. Avoiding sleep deprivation is difficult in school and some other jobs like mine (deadlines....), but it's the target because it ultimately makes you more efficient. And yes, I'm walking in place as I write this and while I watched the video. No huffing and puffing and sweating needed, just keep moving. But if you want a real workout, you can find free videos for walk in place on the web. There might be some here (I've only seen this one video, so I don't know). I like Leslie Sansone because she tells you what each different type of walk in place movement does (different muscles are engaged in each) and is encouraging but not obnoxiously so, and says that if you get tired just rest or drop down to easy march in place. So you don't feel like you're in Basic Training for combat. She has some freebies on the web but I actually plunked down a whole 99¢ to buy one of her 15 minute workouts as an mp3 and keep it on my phone in case I get the very rare urge to "work out". But once you figure out the different types of moves, you can use it to any music you want or while doing other things. Dancing of course is great exercise, and can certainly be used as a study break also. I'm just more of a walker myself.
If you are getting up and moving at school just try to eat well. 80 percent of weight loss is diet. Try to walk at least 20 minutes 3x week. Walk wherever you have to go.
I wish I were at school again. After school things get SO MUCH MORE DIFFICULT and you don't have a clear schedule anymore. This is the best time for you to make a change. Take advantage of it. Organize your time, wake up earlier and just do it!
I broke my ankle and put on 70+ lbs used to be super healthy and worked out loved it! Only put on a total of 23lbs between my two babies! So got depressed, mad at the woman who invaded my mirror! This year is mine! I went from not eating hardly at all. Losing nothing while working out continously... now small healthy meals/ snack about 100 cal multiple times a day with one lean and green meal! Down 46 and about that more to go! But keeping it up! Found your content and loving it! Thank you!
I've just made a deal with my boyfriend that I will not step on the scale untill the 1st of May. If I do I have to give him 50 bucks. I'm recently way too focussed on my weight. Thanks for the tip! 😀
Joyce Doldersum - I figure once a year on my birthday is often enough to find the scale, change the batteries, and get on it. If I feel like it. If I miss doing it, oh, well -- there is always next year! The way my clothes fit tells me what I really need to know. And I can just look at myself and get a clue. I do record (not really plan) my food because I need to watch fiber and protein and make sure I get enough variety (food allergies) and deliberately push for more veggies and fruit, but it's all just estimates in the food databases and who knows how many calories I actually need anyway. I just keep my ideal weight in the tracker and tell it I want to maintain so it can set a calorie budget, but if I stay away from junk then it seems to match my appetite. But the clothes never lie. Not even loose clothes like I prefer. I do track my steps since for me that's the best measure of activity, and I feel better if I get out of the slug range. I do a lot of walk in place, so I use Walker Lite on my iPhone - at its most sensitive setting, it picks up walk in place steps well as long as I walk fast enough. Any pedometer (including the iPhone built-in software) picks up regular steps, but it's hard to find one that picks up walk in place properly.
not eating carbs is BS, someone says that to me I walk the other way, I never weigh myself anymore, I go by how my clothes fit, and I eat and then check to see how I feel after I eat something, if I eat something and feel like crap after I write it down so I remember I don't really want that because in the long run it will make me feel bad
I personally love weighing myself every day. I pay attention to my trend line versus the data points. I have a Fitbit scale that plots this graph for me. Not everyone can do that so it’s still great advice for people who do obsess if they’ve gained a whole pound or 5 in a day.
This is such a great video! Concise but not super scripted. You're the best. I need to give up diet soda again.... I started back up having about 2 a week lately and I've noticed that my body cannot be its healthiest like that. Great point about focusing on adding good to make less room for the bad. It's not about restriction. That comes naturally when you eat a healthy diet.
Wow... It may be the first video that features tips instead of diets and workouts... While I was watching I realised that this things actually kept me back.... Thank you sooo much!!! 😊😊😁
Hi! I had to get on here and tell you that I followed your advice about the 7 day detox challenge. I decided to do 5 days. I am on day 4 and 4.8 lbs down!!! I have been eating a ton of food too. So amazing! I do understand it is mostly water weight but I have so much more energy. And I am not bloated. And just feel better over all. Thanks for the advice and encouragement!
I'M SO happy you are loving it! That is really the key, de bloat, lose that weight to start and then do my 14 day shape up or 4 week meal plan to keep it going. Proud of you!
I lost about 60lbs in my early 20s, but in a very unhealthy way; over exercising, obsessively cutting calories, and binging/purging. Since then I’ve learned SO much about fitness, nutrition, and my own mental health. I’m now in my 30s, just had a baby, and I am again faced with the same amount of weight to lose, but thankfully I now know how to do it the right way! One major change between this weight loss and losing weight in the past is that I no longer buy “diet food”. I used to spend tons of money on fat free, low fat, processed diet junk like Lean Cuisine microwave dinners and 100 calorie cookie/snack packs. Now I eat plant based, whole foods that fuel me with real nutrition. I’m really proud of myself for the time I’ve spent learning to live healthfully and I think it’s one of the greatest gifts that I can give to my son!
I work out 2 HRs daily and I don’t fail, why I found what I love doing, I do only only only workouts that I love and I need 2 device one to look at the workout on, the other device my music pumps in my ears
I'm insulinresistance and eating carbs makes me so ill and i can't perform at all. Stopped eating carbs 2016 and lost 30 kilogram got my life and my energy back so speaking for myself here MY body don't need over 10 grams of carb /day ever again.
Love this! Let me add - get rid of anything in your closet that doesn’t fit, or you don’t feel comfortable in. Buy only what fits NOW, and what makes you feel great. Dieting to fit back in your old jeans is very demotivating.
Big thing that helped me was..Quit drinking Soda, and limited junk food, My program/diet was sugar free, it helped me so much and my parents, and the goal was to Not loose weight, but learn how to eat healthier. I used to be really obese, weighing over 170+ pounds. I was 190. Now I'm 163. I'm still going.
@@brandigarcia9823 A person who is 5 feet 2 inches will find it difficult to carry more than 130 pounds whereas someone who is 5 feet 6 can move around at 130 easily.
Good advice. Thank you for calling what people eat a “diet.” Whether for weight loss or not, what we eat is a diet. It’s refreshing to hear someone tell the truth about fad weight loss diets. I actually had to severely reduce carbs FOR A RELATIVELY SHORT TIME because of some specific health issues, but you are absolutely correct that a super low carb diet is neither healthy nor sustainable. Even though keto dieting will result in weight loss for nearly anyone, it does not mean it’s good for you, particularly long term. So, thank you. ❤️
I just want to let you know your videos help me a lot!! They don’t just help me physically but mentally because I feel like that is the most important! Thank you so much for making videos!!!
Thank you so much for the video. It is helpful indeed, I have been trying to lose weight but I am never consistent with my plan, I often start and end up falling sick and again gained weight. I will surely download the app and kick start a healthy journey.
At this point i'm still very shocked with the negative result I got after suffering from hair loss and weight loss for so long. Thanks once again DR RORPOPOR HERBAL on TH-cam for your natural supplements💖

So I used to be, at the top of my weight, 183 lbs. In 2020 during lockdown from COVID I went through some very tough times including my boyfriend leaving me. In about 2 months from stress alone I dropped from 183 lbs to 138 lbs. I ended up working at Amazon that year starting in September and was there almost 2 years. The job helped me keep the weight off and helped me build some muscle. However I left working there a few months ago and I've realized now especially with winter coming it's been harder for me to stay in shape and I've gained a couple of pounds back so I'm probably around 140 to 141 rn. My goal is to reach around 127 due to my body type. So my question is, along with these 5 things are there any other good recommendations from yall to reach my goal of 127 lbs?
Does anyone have any advice for how to not eat junk food when you go to a Chinese buffet? Story short, I work at a Chinese buffet and I usually pig out on the noodles, chicken on a stick, soup, and these rosemary potatoes that they have. I always get big portions of the soup, noodles, and potatoes. Is there any tips on how to control yourself from taking so much? I don’t mind eating the restaurant’s salad bar and get a little bit of the food like potatoes and chicken. But it gets old and tiring real quick. Any advice?
Do you have a cookbook? If not... you need to make one! Also, do you have a spring morning and night routine? I can’t find any, so I take it you don’t? Love you and your videos!😃
Most alcohols sugars, which most sugar swaps are, are natural laxatives. Additionally, high levels of fructose (natural sugar found in fruits, veggies, and leafy greens) can also have laxative effects, so stevia can do that too. It isn't that they're bad, it is just that sugar swaps need to be in moderation too just like all foods.
Oh my god! This was soooo relatable. Before summer arrives every year, I completely freak out and start intense cardio sessions and Zumba sessions...stuff like that (I tend to completely ditch strength training😟). Right after summer I literally completely cease to do any forms of physical training. Like TOTALLY STOP EXERCISING!!!!!...This year I need to change that!!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😘😘😘😘😘👍👍👍👍👍👍
I need to stop binge eating when I feel down, I need to think that it’s more of a lifestyle rather than to achieve a certain amount of weight loss in a specific amount of time, and to not starve myself ( I’ve stopped starving myself),
I think I have an unhealthy habit of secret eating/snacking. I have been working out consistently for 5 wks and doing everything I thought was right. Today I stepped on the scale and when the weight popped up, I just sobbed. No progress. I used to weigh in every day, then switched to once a week on Fridays. But now I think i'll follow your advice and go to once a month. But even still, I don't feel any better, don't look any better, and my clothes aren't fitting any better. I can only assume i'm secret eating/snacking while bored at work, etc. There are so many temptations lurking, it's easy to just grab a treat without really thinking about it. In general, I think I just need to really hammer down and focus, i'm clearly missing the mark somewhere and need to make some tweaks. I know it's not going to happen overnight, and I don't feel like i've set unrealistic goals. But, it would help if I felt like I was making even a little bit of progress. Anyway, Thanks for your videos, they always help to keep me motivated, especially when I feel like giving up. If I just keep going, i've got to get there eventually....right? Thanks again. ♥

3:09 did you see someone walking passed the door on the left? Is that normal for anyone to walk passed that door?
My best weight loss advice would be to not drink your calories. That was the first step in my 115lb weight loss. :)
Such as smoothies and things?
Hmmm, I'd guess if the smoothie is your meal then this might not apply. I cut every drinkable calorie, drinking strictly water and black coffee.
I think she’s referring to sugary drinks like juice or soda, or anything else with a significant amount of calories that has no nutritional value
christizzlepadizzle ah so no all day smoothie binges???
christizzlepadizzle what about wine? Did you ever have some? I have 3 kids and need a glass or two once and a while!! 🤪
I did this a long time back but here goes:
(1)stopped sugary food
(2)walked more often during the day
(3)ate slower (made the stomach feel fuller with slightly less food)
Simple, common sense solutions that are effective
My diet is WOW
Walk
0 sugar
Water
I am at 300 lbs and I think the best advice is to exercise everyday for 10-20 minutes and don’t overdo it. And I make sure to do that extra walking inside the house cleaning multiple times a day to get more steps in. Sometimes I only workout 6 minutes. But shit it’s better then zero. We got this !!
How many pounds did you lose so far
That’s great, keep going. I‘ m starting in January 2025 with a new natural product. I‘m super excited to loose more weight. Greetings from Germany
Good for you, I am down to 1 soda a day, it is a crutch I'm not ready yet to give it up completely
Yes, this is the way to go. I had to retrain my taste buds and learn how to eat from scratch. 🙏🙏👍👍
What i noticed thats helped me is to stop being so negative when i have a bad meal. Usually i would let that ruin my week or day or month. Now i just say okay lets move on .
Ohhhh please teach me that one!!
Savannah Larson I need to start thinking like that, I have one unhealthy food and think it’s ok for me to have unhealthy food throughout the whole day
This is a HUGE problem for me!
Where is the person who loves to summarise it all up?
Great vid, totally agree. The big thing that helped me lose 1 1/2 stone over the last few months is to stop hating on myself. I am so much more motivated to move if I do it from a place of enjoying my body rather than thinking it is gross or needs to change. Also if I get stuck in self loathing I am much more likely to ‘comfort’ eat, which means I hate myself AND hate what I’m doing AND am getting fatter and more tired. Lol!
Dear you are single
A steady healthy way. Its about a lifestyle not an immediate goal. I love you omg
Intermitted fasting has done wonders for me - it even helped with digestion, bloating, cravings, everything! Best part is that it's more of a lifestyle change than "diet" :)
💝
how do u do it?
I'm doing a 20-4. Basically, one meal a day with some snacks here and there. What about you?
Oh I love intermittent fasting! I totally agree it relaxes my digestive system and it’s such a break on the body! I feel amazing when I wake up, like light and super energized! Also lost lots of weight(I eat generally healthy though too). Edit: I fast for 16 hours

Sugar free things are not healthy, so many bad chemicals. Better off eating real chocolate or just moderating things.

I love this message! That's so wonderful she was able to help you and you were able to help her. Meant to be.
@@LoveSweatFitness That's definitely how it felt ahha. It changed my entire outlook and I really hope she got the reassurance she needed.

5 thing I personally did
1. Counted my carbs not my calories
2. Increased my water intake from 60oz to 80oz
3. Walked 12-15k steps a day
4. Worked out 4 times a week.
5. Stopped eating gluten
Cutting out gluten does absolutely nothing for you unless you have an actual intolerance or allergy which would be diagnosed
@@carlyplush7196 it helps eat overall less which does end up helping
Thank you 💕
I would advice you to only weight yourself once a month. But to make tabes on the inches that you have lost.
Stopping doing so much scrolling is huge that has helped me to focus more on myself my family and school.

This is a lovely tip! I will try to make that mental shift. Thank you!
Anyone else working on eating mindfully?*

This was exactly what I needed to hear...3:24... My best weight reduction advise is to avoid drinking calories. That was the first step in my 115-pound weight loss journey.
What else did you do !??
what I love most about you video is that you show your whole body. There are thousands of bogus weight loss videos out there which you can tell the creator put the weight back on because they place camera from angle above and only of head and shoulders. I like real content from people who are actually walking the talk. Thank you for your videos!
thanks! for sure get that, i'm happy that i've been able to change my life for good, no going back.
6 months* not 9!
It totally is!! And congrats!
I agree be the healthiest version of yourself!
I want to start being more positive, doing yoga/ walking each day and drinking more water 🍓🍍🥕🍉🍇🥑🥗🍵🥐🌶️
I love your goals 💪🏻💕
Very good advice! The only thing I would say is if you’re going to watch Netflix do it while you are on a treadmill or elliptical! We recently got a treadmill for the house and while I don’t really focus as much on the show I’m watching it does help me keep my head up instead of constantly looking at how much time I have left!
Great tips!!! Two things I changed ... drink more water and get better sleep!
Thank you so much for sharing❤️
seeing this video is so amazing, it remembered me to look at my before pictures and take new ones.
So glad this helped girl!
Hi, I also was diagnosed with hypothyroidism when I was 15 also!
My hardest part is not comparing myself to other women
I do much better weighing myself every day first thing in the morning. It keeps me on my toes.
What unhealthy habit can you commit to ditching?
I started to ditch soda. It was a very bad habit. Since March 1st, i havent had a soda. It feels AMAZING. But, i need to replace with more water.
@@jenn6499 I use food as an outlet too, when I'm depressed or stressed

If you’re struggling with yourself and insecure, I just want to let you know…

Thank you for sharing❤️
The problem is school, it’s really hard because I get home at 6 pm and have A LOT of homework
Barbie Latina that’s inspiring, thanks! ❤️
What YOU said that really stuck with me , " add more of the good for you stuff . This leaves less room for the bad stuff "!! Brilliant! Thank you!

Thank you!
You go girl!! Thats so awesome! 💪🏼 💗
Yes, exactly just replace good for the bad and you will be glad you did! Ya, kick soda to the curb!
Wow... It may be the first video that features tips instead of diets and workouts... While I was watching I realised that this things actually kept me back.... Thank you sooo much!!! 😊😊😁
Of course! So glad the video can be some help!
❤️
Can you please share some of that knowledge...please??
I work out 2 HRs daily and I don’t fail, why I found what I love doing, I do only only only workouts that I love and I need 2 device one to look at the workout on, the other device my music pumps in my ears

I'm insulinresistance and eating carbs makes me so ill and i can't perform at all. Stopped eating carbs 2016 and lost 30 kilogram got my life and my energy back so speaking for myself here MY body don't need over 10 grams of carb /day ever again.
I just found your channel but now I’m not allowing myself to watch anymore videos until ive made it to the gym or are on a treadmill 🤪
Love this! Let me add - get rid of anything in your closet that doesn’t fit, or you don’t feel comfortable in. Buy only what fits NOW, and what makes you feel great. Dieting to fit back in your old jeans is very demotivating.

Any advice?
I would suggest focusing on veggies and protein. Maybe getting smaller portions or eating some of the portion and saving the rest for the next day?

Most alcohols sugars, which most sugar swaps are, are natural laxatives. Additionally, high levels of fructose (natural sugar found in fruits, veggies, and leafy greens) can also have laxative effects, so stevia can do that too. It isn't that they're bad, it is just that sugar swaps need to be in moderation too just like all foods.

I need to stop binge eating when I feel down, I need to think that it’s more of a lifestyle rather than to achieve a certain amount of weight loss in a specific amount of time, and to not starve myself ( I’ve stopped starving myself),
I think that’s a great and healthy mindset for you for sure. Being healthy is way more important than a number 💪🏻
