Always appreciate and love your advise. I have 30 lbs to lose while perimenopause and working an office job that starts at 7am. I get an average of 6.5 to 7 hours of sleep each weeknight and only drink my caffeine two after a protein rich breakfast and occasionally an espresso shot in the early afternoon.
14lbs was and is my goal. With you help, watching your videos, taking you advice, such as eating healthy, staying active, have long better routines, I have lost 9lbs!!!! I have at just lost my muscle though, and that’s something that I have done before. But with you help I have healthily lost 9 pounds and I feel strong, fit, lean, and have clear skin, and just through and through feel a way better person! Thank you!!
Walking decreases stress and thus helps you sleep better. More walking helps us feel better and seems to curb appetite too because we're feeling much less stressed. Win win. Walk, walk, walk, decreasing stress by walking is definitely super helpful, it's definitely very beneficial.
10 pounds! I’m 10 pounds away from goal weight but every time I see results I fall back into old habits and ruin my nutrition then a week later try and get back on tract
@@alexispennings380 put the cookie down! Now! lol I think it has to do with hormones. I realize a week before menstruation I’m usually sluggish and hungrier. Not sure what cycle this is in
What you said wasn’t really anything that I didn’t know, but I like how you presented it and brings me back to basics. My inconsistencies come with sleep and making good food choices in particular.
I've been so happy to be able to add walks to my daily habits. Not just for the health benefits but for the chance to see the seasons changing.🍁🍂 Oooh, that sleep. I need to work on that one.
I've always struggled with fluctuating weight gain, especially after my first pregnancy. Working on my legs, and cutting out soda seems to be helping 🙂
I am trying to lose weight as a 15 year old. I am trying to lose 25 pounds to get to 125. I am currently watching this at 12 am as I am starting tomorrow. I stayed up doing homework and am now going to try a new strategy to try and get more sleep. I’m not at an unhealthy weight it’s just I want to have more confidence. I have been packing healthier lunches to school though. I’m eating fruit and avocado toast for lunch every day. I sometimes eat açaí bows for breakfast and am planning to start doing that instead of cereal. I have lost 4 pounds in the past week so I have 21 pounds to go. Thank you for this video.
So grateful for you Katie and all of your helpful advice and encouragement! I had my son earlier this year and will definitely apply these to tighten up that belly. Thank you so much and God bless! 🤗💖
With perimenopause, this belly fat has been so hard. Do you think you could do a video about the premenopausal/menopausal weight gain, especially around the waist?
I'd like to start with 5 lbs. 2019 was the last time I weighed 130, and I felt amazing. I'm over 40 now, and I can't find my groove anymore. I feel so out of touch with my body now. The pounds just won't come off. Life is busy and stressful and I wish my routines were better
Love these tips!! Although I do love sleep, that one is very hard for me to accomplish on the nights that I’m working my 12 hour shifts. But best believe I catch up on sleep on my off days!
Hi Katie, I definitely struggle with belly weight and I workout pretty good. I walk run 4 day a week and definitely watch what I eat. Ive also started to meal prep and I have noticed a difference in my weight but I have a good 10 lbs i'd like to loose. Thanks for this video! I pace all the time when i'm on the phone too lol!🥰
I want to go into mine the same way. I’m headed in the right direction, but currently in a slump. However, I know my top 2 areas are not getting enough sleep (I have a 10 month old) and not drinking enough water.
I have 15lbs I’d like to lose. I love to run and haven’t been able to for 7 weeks due to an Achilles injury. And gained about 8lbs. Plus peri menopausal, so I have that weight gain around my belly to contend with. I’m eating in a calorie deficit, strength training 4-5 days a week and it’s not coming off. Appreciate all your videos and tips! ❤️🙌
So glad these are helpful! Add more walking for sure and make sure you aren't too low of a deficit for too long or it will have the opposite impact on your body and can negatively impact hormones.
Caloric deficit can prevent weight loss. Move more keep whole foods, especially protein front n center. Weight training n walking are great. Body composition matters😊
Love your videos , i’ve been watching them a lot lately because I was in the best shape of my life about a year and a half ago and I’m not entirely sure what happened but I gained like 15 pounds and a majority of it seems to be in my thighs and stomach/love handles. I’ve been trying everything under the sun to get rid of it 😅
I would like to lose 15-20 more pounds. I workout 4-5 times a week but need to add more walking in when I can. Some of that weight is on my belly, so these tips are very helpful! Thank you Katie! ❤
