How long did it take you to lose 45 pounds? I'm in a similar position, at my heaviest at 168 lbs and I need to just kick myself in the pants and get started. Thanks for the video.
Love Sweat Fitness I watched, but you started talking about how long it took you, then you started talking about how you met your hubby 😂 So how long did it take you to lose the 45lbs?
When I looked in the mirror, I never once said, "I love the fat, I accept the fat." Instead, I loved the person UNDER the fat. The fat wasn't me. The real me was the person trapped inside there. Because I loved that person, me, I did what I had to do to free myself. I didn't change my body because I hated myself, I changed my body because I loved myself.
@@sherbetlemons I'm in a similar place Sage. Grains, sugars and cow's dairy are all the things I crave but they're slowly loading my body like quicksand. I know I have the start into this challenge. There's no way round this but through it. God help me! G Ire
I think taking her advice and staying away from the scale will help a lot. I used to weigh myself everyday and even though I looked better and my clothes fit better my scale was not telling me positive things, I was gaining weight!!! I decided after watching her video to stop weighing myself.
I started in July 2019 at 197lbs, 5’6”. Currently 143lbs and still in progress! It’s a long journey, but I feel so much better and it’s TH-camrs like you that help me stay motivated. So thank you!
Same here. I am 186 pounds. My goal is 140-145lbs. I am healing from breast cancer. Hoping to get the weight down. I was 143 last year before my diagnosis. We can do this inspite of the challenges.🙌🏾
working out isn’t the challenge for me, it’s consistently eating healthy. I don’t cook/buy my own food so that’s one obstacle and also no matter how healthy I eat I always feel like I’m starving. Whenever I don’t see results I give up. It’s so hard lol
Hey, I'm in the same boat as you. Seriously. I recommend starting a healthier diet of canned low sodium or healthy rice & chicken broth canned soups and choose a salad when you can. Also, be aware of portion control. I actually have started cooking some of my own creations but, I am always tempted to eat fast food. It is hard, but you can do it!!!
Allison Stoetzel thank you too much for the advice

Many people have unrealistic expectations about weight loss. They look the before and after pics of people and only see that between the two there was x years but they still expect to just one day wake up skinny. It doesn't work like that. Some days you will feel like shit and want to eat cake all day, other days you feel lean and thin, some days you are heavier and some days you are lighter. Weight loss is not a linear progress, that's why it takes sometimes years. And the hardest part I think is getting used to your new self. That you can move faster sleep better, be happier, wear smaller clothes, change your perception about yourself
My partner and i took the advice of a buddy and looked up *4FatLossFast. Com* on Google. It’s the best weight loss program I’ve actually seen and gives immediate results to users. I have personally already decreased 14 lbs in less than the first week.?
Love this. It’s taken me two years to lose 50 pounds and I still need to lose more, but Ian feeling much better and slowly getting to a spot where I feel good.
I'm young. I'm going into highschool this year, but I've been feeling excruciatingly insecure all summer. All of my friends are losing middle school baby weight, getting racks, and just looking amazing, and it's just normal to them. I've been obese all my life, and now I wanna change that. I've started dieting, but apart of me is still just begging and hoping that I'll just wake up skinny, but I know that's now how it works. I've started doing simple easy workouts that I can handle, watching what I eat, making healthier decisions, and, a month later I've lost about fifteen pounds and I can definitely see a difference. My hard work is definitely showing, and I'm feeling much more confident. I'm ready for highschool and I'm ready to continue becoming healthier.
dumbledore's eyelash OMG GREAT JOB!!!! YOU GOT THIS OKAY???!!!!! IM GOING INTO SOPHOMORE YEAR AND IM WANTING TO LOSE 30 LBS AND I ALSO FO WORKIUTS AND PUSH MYSELF AND EAT LESS AND HEALTHIER!! I BELIEVE IN YOU!! OVERLAL SO FAR, I'VE LOST 15 LBS TOO!😁😁😁😁😁😁 GOOD LUCK

Cut down on carbs, and get active, eat veggies etc you don’t have to work out hard core in the beginning just movement... walks etc will def. help I was very chubby in my middle school high school days and have struggled every since losing huge amounts and then giving up and gaining it back. But now I have kept this going for a bit so I’m hopeful... You can do it 😊
Is it just me or you guys got teary eyed too listening to her? Her struggle is totally mine too. Now I have to really sit down and find my “WHY”. Thanks Katie!

Jess, do you still check this? If so, do you mind sharing your story of how you reached your goal? Our weight is similiar and my goal is similar. I'm at 170 and want to be 138.
I am currently on a weight loss journey to lose a total of 50lbs. I'm currently 10lbs down but its so tough to continue losing. Thank you for posting this video - its really inspiring!
I can relate to this video so much! I’m currently in the process of still reaching my physical goals. November 2017, I was the heaviest I have ever been. I was so insecure about my body, and hid behind coats and clothing. I was stuck in a vicious cycle, of hating my body and working out because I hated it. And this never gave me any kind of results. I would get discouraged and end up eating my feelings. But the moment I accepted my body the way it was, just like you had mentioned, my relationship with my body and the gym completely turned around. This summer I’ve made the biggest progress that I have in years. I’m down 20 lbs and am putting on lean muscle!! I’m mentally and physically in such a better place, and I can not wait to see where my fitness journey takes me! Thanks for sharing your story, because it’s so comforting to know we are not alone!
You are such a beautiful person inside and out. I just started following you and saw this video. Really touched me. I am 49 with 3 daughters and a grandchild. Your words meant so much. I hope I get the strength and energy to follow through my goals. Life is just so busy. I already have bad knees, posture, back pain, skin even hurts. I know it must be my diet but never have the time to change for myself. Your words make me want to try harder. Thank you.
I am a dietitian and I appreciate what you are sharing. Speaking about myself, I have a toddler so an hour's workout is not really happening for me like it used to. So I introduced 15-20min workouts to my daily schedule, my husband was laughing at the duration, tonight he said I really am fitter. It's the consistency you are explaining at 13:15. Small changes happening daily can make a big difference.
Totally agree. Consistency matters, even if it's just 15-20 minutes. I usually work out for at least an hour. But today it was only 25 min and I'm good with that!!!
Ever since I wrote the above comment, I started joining 5k runs and group hikes more or less every weekend, while my little one is with daddy. Last time I had done a 5k was before pregnancy, that is 4+ years ago, but it turns out I am now in a better physical condition due to consistency: Every single day I have been keeping up with the baby / now running after the toddler, every single day I have been doing little workouts. 5k took me 35min.

When I was 12, I was obese at 185 pounds. I got sick, and couldn't eat. I soon started starving myself, and I had lost 40 pounds. I was very unhappy, and I still felt huge even though I was a few pounds overweight. I eventually gained back most of the weight. I'm 16 now, and I weigh 171 pounds. I've lost 5 pounds within two days by working out, and eating healthy, which isn't much, but it makes me happy to know I can do this. Videos like these motivate me to not starve myself, and to lose weight in a healthy matter. So, I'd like to thank you for that, and I wish you the best.
I started this summer with 185 pounds of weight, due to a growth spurt and then me cleaning up my diet, I am down to 169. My goal is 150 by Christmas. So you are not alone! Also, look up pictures of what 5 pounds of fat looks like, it's a huge difference.
Geezee Gamez congrats on the weight loss. I'm down to 167 now, but I'm struggling with restricting again. I've been trying to eat 1,000-1,200 calories and I use my elliptical for at least 40 mins a few times a week. However, I feel extremely hungry and I binge at least one to two times a week. It does help with the cravings, but it's an awful cycle. My goal is to be down to 120. Anyways, good luck with your weight loss.
Same here! My goal is 120 by summer, but my partway goal is 150 by Christmas. I use a HIIT training so I only exercise about 15 minutes daily, and I do 100 jumping jacks right before going to bed. Those are just some ideas. I do still eat some junk food, just maybe only one cookie instead of three or 3 chips instead of a whole bowl full. If I order a drink at a coffee shop, I order a small and get half sweet or something like that. No cold turkey. Also, if you go from cold turkey to some fat in your diet (fat is still needed in your diet to be healthy) you will feel sick. So that is my advice, and good luck to you too!
i’m 5’1” and i started at 150 (my heaviest after quitting high school sports the pounds piled on) and now i’m at 135 with about 5-10 more pounds do go. you’ve been so inspirational for me through this, so thank you. love from the stair master that’s killing me so i’m distracting myself with youtube videos!!
AbiraShah xo honestly, patience. i have a very unhealthy relationship with food and trial and error of how many calories and what my macros of each should be was how i did it. once the relationship with food is healthy and the caloric deficit is where it needs to be, the pounds fall off
You're such an inspiration. Love your videos, here are some tips I learnt from you: 1. Eat a lot of soluble fiber 2. Avoid food that contain trans fat 3. Cut down on booze 4. Eat a lot of protien 5. Try your best to reduce stress 6. don't eat a lot of sugar..... And more that you may know🙃
im 13 and i started at 164 pounds. i recently realized how big i had gotten. after my family had opened a restaurant over the summer, i thought it was all fun and games to eat whatever i wanted and to eat 4,000 calories a day. when the school year started and i looked in the mirror, i finally realized that the “other girls” were 50 pounds less than me... i had gained 30 pounds in just one summer. i had no clue why i wasnt losing weight the first month because i was eating what i thought was ‘healthy’. i watched videos and videos every night about weight loss stories and said why cant that be me, just like you mentioned in this video. my main motivation was to be able to look good and fit in my clothes. but now as ive been working for three weeks and my jeans feel bigger by the week, i work for my health and my mental state. i have become more happy with my body, though i have to be honest. i still look in the mirror and know im fat. 156 pounds and 13.. only 5”4. im overweight by 20 pounds. it doesnt seem like a lot. but to me all i see is extra fat that my friends dont have. so i want to be able to make it to 135 pounds and maintain that weight for when i start high school next year. i started excersizing 4-5 times a week. i only burn 100-200 calories in a workout, but it still makes me feel good. i eat 1200 calories and usually less in a day. DISCLAIMER i do NOT starve myself. on mondays i do fasting and i eat healthy fruits and vegetables as snacks. during the week i eat a wheat bread sandwich and fruits at lunch. i eat my moms healthy dinners. i cut out all soda. i occasionally have 40 calorie fudge pops or a scoop of ice cream that i prepaid for at school as my weekly treat. anyway, i watched this video and im happy to see myself getting better. thank you for all you do to inspire so many people. especially when girls think their fat.. yet i was at my heaviest at 164 at only 13 years old.
You go girl!!! I have felt the same way and still do. I am 12 and I was 168.8 and I’m now 156.0 I’m happy with what I have done and trying to get to 100 pound so wish me luck
good job, you did that! i know how it feels to always compare yourself to your skinny friends, but look at it this way: you discovered a part of you that was strong enough and driven enough to transform yourself. it's definitely easier to see weight gain when you're shorter so ify, i'm 5'2 so if i gain even just five pounds I and everyone that i'm close to can see it clearly in my face, my stomach etc :( but you're doing really good, don't forget to nourish yourself and go easy, good job!
Out of all of the "weight loss story" videos I have watched (and that's a lot) I have to say that this has been the MOST genuine & inspiring! & to hear you say that it is possible for me too, actually makes me want to cry! Thank you❤️😌 "Make sure you have the right WHY!"
Tui Hawke glad I’m not the only one ❤️ wanted to leave a comment for her, but wasn’t sure how to put it into words. This definitely captures my thoughts 😊
This is so motivating for me! Every 'how I lost weight' video I've seen seems to involve either the gym, or working out outside. I couldn't find anyone who lost weight just from working out in their room, which is what I'm trying to do. Thank you for sharing your story and making your workout videos!
I needed to see this today. I lost 15 pounds in about 1.5 months (healthier choices and gym 5-7 days/week), but now I'm at a standstill and have been for about 2 weeks. it's definitely frustrating, but your spirit gives me hope that I can lose more.
You are my story, except I'm much heavier, black and 50...lol Thank you so much for sharing! It's 4:37 am and I'm feeling horrible because of what I ate earlier. I almost didn't watch this video because to me 45 lbs is nowhere in the range of what I have to lose and I felt like there's no way she could understand and then you opened your mouth and oh my goodness she understands! Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this video! Please make a video on the inner work you talked about. I have no idea where to start, but I know I need to start somewhere and I know enough to know that if I don't work on my inner self the change won't happen, because the physical pain I'm feeling has not been enough to stop me from eating unhealthy. I've got to change my mindset, I'm just now sure how and hoping your inner work can set me on my own path to being successful. Thank you in advance...Peace and Blessings!
Hi Pam! I'm so so happy you found LSF and this video. I totally feel you, the inner work is really the key to all of it. I actually did a series of Motivation Challenge videos on my channel a few months ago, there is a playlist of all of them...check that out! I talk all about getting through the inner struggles. You've got this!
Pam Meets World We are all here for you! You can do it ! Small changes at a time and you will see the difference! You can do it girl ! I believe you ! ❤️🙌
Pam Meets World my sister, you are beautiful, you are worthy and you can do anything you put your mind to. Don’t judge or be hard on yourself, be as kind and patient as you would be with family or a friend, one day at a time. I recently started incorporating yoga into my life to find more inner peace and it has added only positivity to my life. My favorite yoga channel on YT is Journey Junkie, check it out or other yoga channels on here. All the best to you 🙃🙏💕
I love your reply! This is my first time hearing this youtube's perspective. It's inspiring for me; I need to lose a lot of weight too. I love her idea about focusing on the idea of an individual feeling really good, not necessarily checking the weight obsessively. :)
Sophie Jayne i started at 178 around july and now it’s december and i’m around 155. i haven’t been super consistent but i’ve slowly but surely been losing. this video has motivated me to get back into it
This was exactly what I needed to hear!! I had my third child 6 months ago and I’ve been stuck at this weight. It’s the heaviest I’ve ever been and I’ve been so focused on the scale and giving up on myself so quickly that I never even thought to focus on doing it to feel good! You’ve inspired me to keep pushing bc honestly today I was avoiding my workout!!
This made me cry. I so needed this. I’ve been low about my body lately and feeling discouraged. I need a community and your story is inspiring. Thank you so much and I’m ready to start my journey with you.
Today was the day that I needed the extra support and this was it! Going through losing some of the relationships with friends while I'm making positive changes and needed to hear the other side of things, thank you!
I love this! My heaviest was 309 and within 6 months I lost 50 pounds and got down to 259 from eating healthy and working out. I gained about 30 back though and I’m trying to get back on it because I wanna be healthy!
I’m at 308 lbs right now too! 😞 I have hypothyroidism and it’s been a battle trying to control it and get it to normal. Last year at this time I was at 262 (which was my normal adult weight) and I’ve gained all this weight. I’m on a mission to get healthy, start moving and move forward. Good luck! We can do this!
GREAT video! You're lucky that you discovered this right after University, and young. I'll be 52 next month, and I'm still trying to figure it out, after about four decades of binging, then crazily dieting (including Jenny Craig, and being a Jenny Craig consultant for those two years!), then overeating processed crap, and thinking I'd be caught in the spiral forever. I, too, topped out at 168 at University. During my twenties and thirties, I levelled out at 140. In my forties, 140 became 150. Now, I'm postmenopausal, and started seeing a dietitian just over a month ago, starting at about 153. It's super-slow progress (I sit now at about 147), but there IS a win, aside from the weight loss: For the first time in my life, I now feel I can have a "cheat meal", and get right back on the horse with the next meal! I had lived my black-and-white, restrictive thinking for years.I feel that there's light at the end of the tunnel now, and that I'm making sustainable, good-health decisions, daily, just like you are. Good for you, girl!
I have been struggling on and off my whole life with restriction and binging, and this video has just opened my eyes so much. I can’t thank you enough for making this video. 💜💜💜
I felt EVERY word you were saying about how being overweight made you feel. I feel the exact SAME way. Im 19 (20 in a few days) im 5’5 & 170-175lbs. Im in the process of feeling more confident & feeling like ME. This helped me SO much. THANK YOU! I will be rewatching this. I subscribed. When it gets hard I’ll remember this video & you. Thank you. Truly.
I started my weight loss journey around April of this year at 182 and now I’m down to 163. I’ve notice what helps me is counting my calories and macros as well as working out 4-5 times a week (barre, spin, boot camps, and LSF workout videos). ❤️💕
I super appreciate that you talk about weight loss for health not for keeping up with model sizes... That you shared a deeper story is so encouraging. Thank you for your vulnerability.
I was up to 160lb and I cried at one point with the same height. I got down to 128lb then quit and creeped back to 145lb over 2 years. I love the advice you gave with small goals and focusing on making yourself feel better. Thank you for your advice.💕
I have been watching so many videos about weight loss this past week. You sound so genuine in your advice. The, “smile when you take that before photo” really made me shed a tear because I cut my face out of all of them. I’m going to take a new one tomorrow, smiling. I know I’ll appreciate it in the end. Thanks for this video 🥺
Of all the many weight loss journey videos and health videos that I've watched this has probably been the most realistic and relatable ones that I've come across. I been having a lot of self hate lately that probably effects others around me, so I started trying to change habits without knowing what I was doing. I'm still only a little over a week in and clueless but I'm going to try and keep it up this time :) Your story was very inspiring!
Thank You for your story. March I finally started Plant Based and cut sugar...I lost 26 lbs so far in 6 months. I weighed 205 at my heaviest. I got cancer and 4 other illnesses, after 5 operations I started thinking I needed to learn more about healthy eating. I didn’t focus for 20 yrs and get serious. It’s hard but I had a light come on with two dreams about people eating dead animals...then I started using TH-cam to investigate eating healthy. I weighed 195 in March, ow at 168.
@@rmlhardage4952 If you can, double those 3 days! Congrats to taking care of your health and eating. Health starts always with eating right (meaning plant base vegan, no processed oil and sugar). Also important not to poison ones body with vaccines, radiation, ultrasound, non-organic food and drugs of any sort. But doctors are not yet there nowadays regarding this knowledge and wisdom, so they won't be able to help their patients to get rid of so many diseases (including cancer).
Appreciate your transparency in your story. I think we all can relate to certain aspects. I'm so glad to see someone with healthy advice and perspectives teaching young women about getting healthy and losing weight.
I've lost 21 pounds since last October and I was at my heaviest as well. I admire you telling us your story and your feelings becuz alot of it matches my own. I'm not yet at my healthy weight goal but I'm so much closer. Thank you for this.
Hi Katie! I am in my senior year at high school and since the last year, I have consistently moved on to a healthier lifestyle. I have Polycystic Ovarian Disease (which is, irregular periods that causes pregnancy problems in the future) because of my excessive weight. I weighed 75 kgs at my heaviest. And when I was told by my doctor that my only medicine was losing weight. So at that moment, it seemed like an impossible thing to do because I'm like attracted to anything sugary. I love eating sweets and chocolates and all kinds of desserts and still do. I used to binge eat a lot, putting unhealthy stuff in my body, and then feeling guilty and crappy. I always used the excuse of having too much pressure of studies to take time out of my routine to work out. But then I took some time to realise that unless I'm healthy, there's no point in working so hard for the grades to go up because I won't be happy. I took some time to love my body, to realise that I am beautiful and sexy with an awesome personality, and that's what mattered the most. This was when I started to work out, jumping rope initially, starting with 500 jumps, then started doing target exercises. I remember, I was searching through youtube for how to lose back fat when I came across your channel and that's how I was introduced to LSF and this wonderful community. You played a big part in my transformation towards a healthy form of myself. And after a month or so, I started to feel good after every workout, concentrate better on my studies, my grades went up. After 8 months, here I am, at 63 kgs and feel amazing about my body. I hope to lose about 4 kgs more to get to a healthy weight, and my Polycystic Ovarian Disease has been going away slowly, as now I have regular periods. So, all I want to say is, Thank you Katie. You played a major inspiration for me to feel better about myself, to love myself. And I owe so much to you.
So inspiring! I am on my journey to lose weight and this year decided to really take things slowly and not get discouraged if I mess up that my “day” or my “week” of weight loss is ruined. I love how you started losing weight by just listening to your body and am going to start to do the same thing.
Your before body I feel like is the closest to my own! I’m excited to dive into your channel and see what helped you because a lot of the advice I see is from other people who aren’t built like me so it’s always hard to see if the results would be possible for me. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I've barely restarted my weight loss journey after failing many times about two months ago and am already down 7 pounds!! Haven't lost that much in a long time but I still have family making comments about my weight, telling me I should stop eating that, and take this pill, and drink this tea, so I can look nice, and I HATE that because I finally, after ten years have actually accepted who I am. I truly believe that's the only reason why I've lost those seven pounds. And it's not about accepting that I'm "fat" and giving up. It's about realizing that I am a person not my weight, that this is my body, the only body I have, and that I don't hate it. I just want to change it to make myself feel 100%
I’m so happy to have found you! Being Type 1 Diabetic and having Hypothyroidism has been tough. After 3 weeks of implementing some of your dietary suggestions it’s had a HUGE difference on my energy levels, and today I did my first workout in the app. LOVED IT!!! Thank you for sharing your amazing gifts and positivity! ✨
I’m still managing so lose weight, My diet is roughly 80% of my weight loss. I also made little home made gym in my garage and I’ve been taking long hikes outdoors. 😊
I just watched this video and for the first time, it really got me to stop and think about my why. I keep chasing a number when what I really should be focusing on is way more important. I want to be happy and healthy that I can be there to love and support the people I care about the most. They are my why and knowing and believing in this now is what really is going to set me free. Thank you so much for filming this video! I know I am just one in a sea of comments, but I want to know how appreciative I truly am:)
Not gonna lie, I cried so much while watching this as I didn’t realise I could relate so much 😢 I’ve struggled with feeling ugly and feeling fat from such a young age it’s ridiculous, I’m just so tired of feeling like I’m worthless and feeling like I’m doomed to be “heavy” right now I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been, and as much as it hurt feeling like this you’ve really opened my eyes and now I’m gonna start looking in the mirror and tell myself that I am beautiful even if I don’t believe it at first, thank you so much Katie you’ve really changed my state of mind and that’s what’s gonna change my life thank you so much for giving me this opportunity you truly are amazing x
Good! I love that mindset and it’s exactly right. You are so worthy of being happy and not doomed at all. Focusing on being healthy vs thinner is going to make a huge difference for sure. Having the LSF community to support you, I know you can do it!
I feel like we’re so many in this situation. Our society puts so much pressure on us: eating healthy and clean and little and exercise... it just messes with our minds 😒 but don’t forget you’re unique and beautiful, and your body makes it possible for you to do so many things, you should just love it 💛
Self-acceptance is the first step to making a change. Love who you are and the "WHY" naturally falls into place. Thx for sharing your story, very real and truly motivating!!
THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ACCEPT AND LOVE YOUR BODY RIGHT NOW AS IT IS - EVEN IF IT NEVER CHANGES. Loving ourselves as we are is so important. Tbh probably more important than any weightloss
I have watched so many weight loss videos and this one by far has to be my favorite. You talk about every aspect of weight loss, especially being in a good place mentally. Everything about your content is truly relatable, real and inspirational THANK YOU!!💕
Your story interested me because I’m starting out my journey at 168lbs about 5’5” and it’s hard to imagine my new body getting back to 120’s but seeing you gives me move motivation. Thank you!
This made me tear up because I felt like you were speaking my words. This is something I have been REALLY struggling with yesterday and recently. I really needed this. Thank you for helping me 💕
This is the video that started a major change with my lifestyle this year. It's not about losing weight and it took me decades to realize this. I'm still new to all of it. I started watching your channel recently. Thank you for keeping hundreds of thousands of people motivated.
I’ve been struggling with my weight for so long. I always dress down at work or hardly hangout w friends because of that. You just inspired me to take my first step! Thank you!
NEW FAVORITE TH-camR IM CRYING RN it’s been very hard for me to feel happy and lose weight especially since I struggled with my own hypothyroidism which I haven’t seen ANYONE make a video about till now so nothing would really work tysm
Hi there! Us hypo girls need to stick together. I'm so glad you found my channel! I have a Hypo 101 Meal Plan that has been such a game changer. Here is the link to take a look :) my.lovesweatfitness.com/collections/nutrition-plans/products/hypo-101-4-week-meal-plan
Loved hearing this story- so motivating for all of us on the same journey! :) Total side bar- does anyone else always feel totally awkward and uncomfortable when people say "wow, you look great you've lost weight!" ???
What you said about accepting your self struck a chord and made me cry a little. Since I was a kid I have always hated how I look, from skin to body size although people would compliment me as "fit," I never saw it the same way, thinking skinnier is always the goal. And now that I'm a mother who have gone through extreme body changes, all the pain and embarrassment just got worse. I feel so depressed esp. over the past year after having gained weight during the lockdown. I've been trying to lose weight but the slow progress is just disheartening. But now, with everything you just said -- taking things one step at a time, discarding out of your lifestyle eating habits you know are not healthy for you, feeling good inside and out -- just gave me renewed hopes in my self-love/self-acceptance journey. Thank you
WireHanga wow its possible! I’m around 210 following a separation from my husband. I’m tall too and feel self conscious being “big and tall”. But it’s so cool to see you did it!
Of all the "story time" videos I've listened to and watched on YT this is by far my favorite. Thank you for your honesty- I related to different points. I dont have a habit of stepping on the scale, but when I want to "get fit" i do and like you said - I fail, because my why isn't strong enough. I just picked up journaling again, how I'm feeling what im going through to see patterns and how it makes me feel. Again, thank you. New sub!
I’m trying to lose 20 pounds before this summer and this is super encouraging and I love how realistic this is and she’s not like the other people who say that you have to eat this and that and go to the gym
I’m 5’4”. 11 months ago, I was 139 and so close to my goal of 135. And then I just stopped. I’m now at 168 and MISERABLE. And on the brink of getting married and wearing a dress that I’m just not comfortable in. I just found your channel and completed one of your works outs. My problem with everything I’ve done is just not being consistent! You’re an inspiration and I hope to achieve my goal and get back to where I was minus some! Thank you! ❤️
Hey girl! Congrats on your upcoming wedding, you are going to look amazing! Doing the current LSF challenge will for sure help keep you accountable 💪🏻💕
It’s frustrating to see someone who has never struggled with weight giving advice. I also can’t identify with people who are 200lbs overweight (no judgement. It’s just a very different journey). It’s nice to hear a weight loss that I can identify with! Thank you for this video!

in february 2022 I saw a picture of me standing and that's when I knew I had to do something about my body. I am 5'2 and I weighed 126 lbs. I ate junk food every day and binged so much after getting home from school. After 4 months of working out and changing my lifestyle choices, I now weigh 118 in june 2022. It may not seem like a huge difference, but I feel so much better and am already starting to love my body even more.
I'm not one to leave a comment, but I find this inspirational. I am in the mid 40s and at my highest weight, near your starting weight, and feeling so crappy in my skin, poor digestion whick I've never had before. I have tried so many fads in the past, and it is much harder than it used to be. It's nice to hear your story and know it is possible. Also, don't let those with negative comments bring you down. It's really sad that people have to spread negative energy where it doesn't belong. Such wasted energy and quite sad to try to bring others down. Clearly, you are building a healthy community (and business) doing what you love; good for you!!!!
I love how positive you are and how much you love yourself. I also love how you put yourself out there. It shows everyone that they are not alone because I know at many times along our own journeys we feel that way. Thank you for your videos!
Nada A same here originally when I started my weight loss journey I was 165 about and 5ft tall and now am 115 still trying to lose more fat and build muscle and tone great work!
Nada A I’ve always wanted to know what yoga moves make people lose so Much weight?! ): I used to do yoga but never saw a change. Please let me in on your yoga routine thing
Girl, you are a true inspiration for me. I watched many weight loss videos on TH-cam but when I found you , you truely become my eye opener. I can absolutely relate my situation with you. I'm 5'2 and 143 lbs, My body fat percentage is quite high like 30% or so.. I started dieting 7 years ago but everytime I failed. I'm in my last year of graduation. Before I found you, I'm in so much stress like I've failed me, I'm at the end of my college days but couldn't get that body of my dream, what I have done to myself and so on.. But after seeing you, I get so motivated.. I've started my healthy living . Hope it will be fine. love yaa. ♥️♥️
I'm in high school and I've always been super active but still on the heavier side, strangling with extra weight that my friends didn't have. Every year I tried to lose it before summer because all my friends loved to take bikini pictures to post of social media when we we went to the beach. I was always a semi healthy eater but I struggled a lot with overeating and not knowing when to stop. Although I still struggle with this now I have recently been trying to look at my habitats day to day and make some changes. Then I came accords this video and you really helped me see that I'm fine just the way I am and that I should just eat to nourish my body. I cant explain how much you have just shifted my mindset in one video. I owe you so much more than you know❤️💕💪🏽
You’re aware, open-minded, inspiring and beautiful! Thank you so much for this video and for being so true. U just inspired me and hopefully one day I’ll inspire others too❤️ Wish u all the best🌞
I just found your channel tonight, and I feel like I’ve found my people!! I have severe anxiety, and am severely overweight. I started seeing a wonderful therapist, and she told me to work on my mind, body, and soul. So I’m doing a daily journal of a bible verse about not being afraid (soul), a daily “I love myself” journal prompt (mind), and I’ve been trying to find a workout and diet that made me feel good (body), without making me feel so overwhelmed that I shut down. This video popped up tonight on my recommended, and I almost cried while listening to it!! I felt like to take care of my body that I had to do some drastic program and diet, but I was never happy or could stuck to those. But what you said makes so much sense!! Thank you thank you thank you!! Going to go find you on Instagram, right now! 💜
9:18 "I used the only thing I had as my equipment, which was my body. And it is the most amazing piece of equipment you could ever own, and it's yours and you have everything that you need inside of you already to be able to make these changes happen." Thank you for saying that.
It took me a few days to finally sit down and give this video my undivided attention. Your story is so amazing so inspirational and as someone else mentioned I did get some tears because I’ve been there! Hating my body, not liking the person I was becoming and always struggling to lose weight the “quick” way. I also have thyroid issues and this is how I found LSF. Looking up hypothyroidism and there you were Katie! 😊 I’m so thankful to have found this community and learning how to do this the healthy way.
Out of all these youtube videos abt weight loss etc this is truly the 1st one i actually took in the advice & made sense! I step on the scale everyday nd when i dont see a change i get depressed nd hate myself... when i lose weight than i go ahead nd eat junk just to pick everything up again... after this video i am not gona touch a scale.. my goals will be fitting into that small jean again and dress instead of checking the scale! Thank u
Oh my god!! We have the exact same story. Same height, same depression, same binge eating style and same ups and downs. I also have hypothyroidism. I am currently one year after I first got that I had to make a change bc of my future and have lost about 27lb. It was a really slow road and I have about 30 More to go but that’s ok. I was starting to get in my head again and weighted myself and it made me paranoid as before when I was yo-yo dieting. I am slowly feeling changes in my body and your video has inspired me again to stop that path and go back to the pseudo numberless one, where what counts is the effort and not the exact numbers. Thank you!! I honestly cannot believe how similar our stories are..! Although I have still a long way to go :) Big hug all the way from Perú
Girl, thank you so much for your testimony. I can relate to so much of your story, and I'm so glad to hear that I'm not alone. I am definitely inspired!!
Thank you for sharing all of this, what you describe is exactly how I feel right now and the past year. I've decided to shift my focus away from weightloss and just simply make my body stronger and aim to feel better as I move it more. For me it's so therapeutic to exercise and feel how strong u become each and every day. There are low days as well, but I love myself because of how quick I can bounce back on track the next days. Really love everything that you do for this community and I wish you all the best.
Thank you , you encouraged me to move on with my journey . I’ve been trying to lose the extra weight for the past 3 years . But I couldn’t stay on track I would always lose the passion and be discouraged by people around me because in my country they love a heavy girl !. Thank you again Sending you love all the way from Iraq / Kurdistan
this video is so relatable and it is helping me so much. i’m at 180 lbs (heaviest i’ve ever been) and hearing that you SHOULDNT go on restrictive diets etc is very encouraging. just eating in a healthy way and listening to your body makes me feel like losing the weight is doable!! i appreciate your positivity and i hope i can stick to this!!
I love how you talk about the body, the fact it needs to be "loved and cherished" and that it is the "most amazing piece of equipment we could ever own". In Islam, our bodies are an "amana" (trust) from Allah (God) and it is part of our faith to treat it with care and love. I think once we understand this and look at our bodies as gifts from God, then our mindset and willpower change. Much love to all the people on their weight loss journey - may we all stay healthy ❤️
Hello! I love this explanation, how can I start to change my mindset about my body and accept that God has given me my body to cherish and love? I've had a lot of negative comments from family about my body because it's not the athletic body they know me to have. How do I not let family get to me and the way I accept my body? Thank you
I am 15 years old, and one day in the beginning of quarantine, I just said, I don't want to live like this anymore. 4 months ago I was 165lbs, and now I'm 138lbs and I'm trying to lose 10-15 more pounds, but I want to, and want to continue. And watching you has really helped me.
@@adanma5499 I just decided to start exercising, only 10 min workouts. And eating clean helped. I now only (try to at least) east sugar 1 time a week; and just don't sit around all the time. Try to be as active as you can all the time. AND... water will become your best friend.
@@LoveSweatFitness thx! I watched your this vid at the beginning of quaratine, and then watched it again and the second time was really the wake up call. So thx u

How long did it take you to lose 45 pounds? I'm in a similar position, at my heaviest at 168 lbs and I need to just kick myself in the pants and get started. Thanks for the video.

Love Sweat Fitness I watched, but you started talking about how long it took you, then you started talking about how you met your hubby 😂 So how long did it take you to lose the 45lbs?
omg hahahah you're right. It took me 6 months

AMAZING 😍😍
HOW!!!!!!!
What?! That’s awesome
I know you are so proud.
Yes!
Johnny Fever Beautifully expressed!!

Dang. 119 factorial? So you must weigh 5.6 * 10^196 lbs.
This is my goal 150 now

Yes! It's not just an overnight magical phenomenon, its a journey which is even better!!

What are you now ???!!!!!
Tarim O Try eating more healthy fats, they help you to stay full longer. Avocados, olive oil, coconut oil, real butter not fake butter. Nuts and seeds
Elemental Enigma thank u!!!
@Rodolfo Rogers I lost over 5 pounds in the last 7 days. Here how I did it: HootFat. com
Tímea Tarjányi thank you I needed that
true
Omg soooo true
My partner and i took the advice of a buddy and looked up *4FatLossFast. Com* on Google. It’s the best weight loss program I’ve actually seen and gives immediate results to users. I have personally already decreased 14 lbs in less than the first week.?
Love this. It’s taken me two years to lose 50 pounds and I still need to lose more, but Ian feeling much better and slowly getting to a spot where I feel good.
I started at 162 in March and now 142. Yahoo. Feels good. 5ft2in.
Hi heather paar, did you workout? If so, what did you do and how often? Thanks
Best height ever 😉

Marco Borges plant based book really helped maintain my weight loss. I did the fast track and included intermittent fasting.

I cried a lot actually. It really got to me.
I've been tracking what I eat for 7 years, yet it never occurred to me to also log how what I eat makes me FEEL! That is a brilliant idea.

I am currently on a weight loss journey to lose a total of 50lbs. I'm currently 10lbs down but its so tough to continue losing. Thank you for posting this video - its really inspiring!
“Make sure you have the right WHY”.....
That was huge for me...
Thanks so much!
Of course! So glad it resonated with you so much!
Hey, small children make great weights! I watch cartoons with my little brother and I'll just hold him up to build up my arms.

20 mins here too, and after a year-big changes!!!
Keep on keeping on, you're doing so well ♡
I started this summer with 185 pounds of weight, due to a growth spurt and then me cleaning up my diet, I am down to 169.
Jennifer Cano thank you so much.
So that is my advice, and good luck to you too!
i’m 5’1” and i started at 150 (my heaviest after quitting high school sports the pounds piled on) and now i’m at 135 with about 5-10 more pounds do go. you’ve been so inspirational for me through this, so thank you. love from the stair master that’s killing me so i’m distracting myself with youtube videos!!
so happy for you!!
Hey I’m the same height and weight as you, help!!! How did you lose those pounds. Plus Kudos to you!! 🙌🏼♥️
AbiraShah xo honestly, patience. i have a very unhealthy relationship with food and trial and error of how many calories and what my macros of each should be was how i did it. once the relationship with food is healthy and the caloric deficit is where it needs to be, the pounds fall off

im 13 and i started at 164 pounds. i recently realized how big i had gotten. after my family had opened a restaurant over the summer, i thought it was all fun and games to eat whatever i wanted and to eat 4,000 calories a day. when the school year started and i looked in the mirror, i finally realized that the “other girls” were 50 pounds less than me... i had gained 30 pounds in just one summer. i had no clue why i wasnt losing weight the first month because i was eating what i thought was ‘healthy’. i watched videos and videos every night about weight loss stories and said why cant that be me, just like you mentioned in this video. my main motivation was to be able to look good and fit in my clothes. but now as ive been working for three weeks and my jeans feel bigger by the week, i work for my health and my mental state. i have become more happy with my body, though i have to be honest. i still look in the mirror and know im fat.
Thank you❤️😌

Agreed
This is so motivating for me! Every 'how I lost weight' video I've seen seems to involve either the gym, or working out outside. I couldn't find anyone who lost weight just from working out in their room, which is what I'm trying to do. Thank you for sharing your story and making your workout videos!
Mandy L I've found one recently. Her name is Margot ... she is in the beginning of her 20'ees
You lose weight mostly in the kitchen, but you can definately get fit in your room! :)

Love Sweat Fitness great, going to watch now... thank you for responding
I'm 5 mins in and I'm crying, you're explaining exactly how I feel
Saaamee
This is the best mindset to achieve anything.
This is SO motivating!! I am currently working hard on my own fitness journey and literally cannot WAIT to film my own weightloss/health journey! xx
Sophie Jayne Your videos seem really cool, already subscribed!
Samee
Sophie Jayne i started at 178 around july and now it’s december and i’m around 155. i haven’t been super consistent but i’ve slowly but surely been losing. this video has motivated me to get back into it
Same here
This was exactly what I needed to hear!!
SO happy for you!!
Good job you can do it again!
I'm so glad to hear that babe!
this is the first video i’ve actually watched without feeling crap that i’ll never get there. you’ve really made me feel like i can!
Thank you. Truly.
I honestly love the way your motivations are for your health rather than the weight!
You're so welcome! Always keeping it real with you guys!
Rhoda Hardage that’s so awesome! That’s inspired me even more to try micro goals.
Plant based is the way to go hands down!!
Now I have lost 33 lbs and still going down. I started excercise 3 days a week.
Rhoda Hardage jhghjnnbcj
Thank you for watching! I always keep it real with this community :)
Tiasha Gupta well spoken. Congratulations. Much success. You got this girl!!
I just want to change it to make myself feel 100%
cynthia zhang thank you!!
The past year and half so many have gained weight from being stuck at home. Thank you for telling your story. You are an inspiration of hope.
Totally can understand that. Stay strong and keep your head up Beth!
My heaviest was 177 July 2019 . I’m now 165 January 2 2020. My goal is 135 by December 2020 :)
well, u got me cheering u on. Focus on your goal!!
corona isnt helping
I’m still managing so lose weight, My diet is roughly 80% of my weight loss. I also made little home made gym in my garage and I’ve been taking long hikes outdoors. 😊
I was gonna ask for an update! I’m happy that you are able to keep going!!
YOU CAN DO IT!
I started at 188 in February and now I'm at 165!

Great
So Happy for you congrats
188 is my goal weight. 🏋️♀️🙏🏃♀️
Jocelyne Somarriba what did you do I’m 185-188 goal I’d 165 160
I just watched this video and for the first time, it really got me to stop and think about my why. I keep chasing a number when what I really should be focusing on is way more important. I want to be happy and healthy that I can be there to love and support the people I care about the most. They are my why and knowing and believing in this now is what really is going to set me free. Thank you so much for filming this video! I know I am just one in a sea of comments, but I want to know how appreciative I truly am:)
Wow, thanks for sharing! Hearing stories like yours make me so happy that I get to do what I get to do! Also, thanks so much for the kind words!
Yes, couldn't have said it any better!
Hey Katie just wanted to let you know just Incase no no one else has said it lately. You are freaking Awesome ✨❤️
What a cute house! I love the color of that door, beautiful turquoise!
Thank you! We just painted the door this year, it use to be red...but I like this a lot more
I have watched so many weight loss videos and this one by far has to be my favorite. You talk about every aspect of weight loss, especially being in a good place mentally. Everything about your content is truly relatable, real and inspirational THANK YOU!!💕
Hi Landa! Thank you so much, so sweet of you to share. I'm so happy you are enjoying my videos. xo
Your story interested me because I’m starting out my journey at 168lbs about 5’5” and it’s hard to imagine my new body getting back to 120’s but seeing you gives me move motivation. Thank you!
Yes, of course! You got this girl!
That’s what it’s all about! Love your mentality now 😍
You are so right in saying that a positive “WHY” is the most important factor!
I’ve been struggling with my weight for so long. I always dress down at work or hardly hangout w friends because of that.
You just inspired me to take my first step! Thank you!
Amazing to hear that you're gonna make a change! The journey is tough, but so so worth it! Plus all of LSF will be here to cheer you on!
I like how you focused on fitness goals beyond the scale
Thank you
You got this babe! Don't listen to those doubting voices in your head telling you otherwise! The whole LSF community is behind you 100%!! 💗
I started at 215 3 years ago and now I’m 155. (I’m 5 foot 11”)
Way to go!
WireHanga wow its possible! I’m around 210 following a separation from my husband. I’m tall too and feel self conscious being “big and tall”. But it’s so cool to see you did it!
WireHanga wow,congratulations! Well done!
Lil Muffin Omg same! I always feel so horrible in a bikini when all my friends have abs🙄
I’m going to a concert in June and I’m trying to loose weight so I can not only have a good time but start feeling good
jamie Grgghyryi do you want to be healthy buddies? Like, motivators
Kittycatfan omg I love that. How old r u
jamie Grgghyryi 14 u?

I started at 147 in July, I’m 115 now. I’m only 5 foot tall.
Nada A same here originally when I started my weight loss journey I was 165 about and 5ft tall and now am 115 still trying to lose more fat and build muscle and tone great work!
Glitter Trail same here! Trying to build more muscle!! Good luck!!
Nada A how?
linda I joined the gym. Started running 3-4 times a week. Power yoga. After I became more active I found a lot of my cravings just went away.
Nada A I’ve always wanted to know what yoga moves make people lose so
Much weight?! ): I used to do yoga but never saw a change.
Hi Natalie! So glad you found my channel and LSF! We are here for you girl!
9:18 "I used the only thing I had as my equipment, which was my body. And it is the most amazing piece of equipment you could ever own, and it's yours and you have everything that you need inside of you already to be able to make these changes happen."
Thank you for saying that.
That's beautiful ❤️😍
It took me a few days to finally sit down and give this video my undivided attention. Your story is so amazing so inspirational and as someone else mentioned I did get some tears because I’ve been there! Hating my body, not liking the person I was becoming and always struggling to lose weight the “quick” way. I also have thyroid issues and this is how I found LSF. Looking up hypothyroidism and there you were Katie! 😊 I’m so thankful to have found this community and learning how to do this the healthy way.
So happy you are part of the LSF team and we can all do this together with you!
It was a really slow road and I have about 30
More to go but that’s ok.
Although I have still a long way to go :)
Big hug all the way from Perú
Thank you for sharing, girl! Keep up the awesome work :)
This video, no joke, made me emotional. It has made me feel not so alone on this journey. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you , you encouraged me to move on with my journey . I’ve been trying to lose the extra weight for the past 3 years . But I couldn’t stay on track I would always lose the passion and be discouraged by people around me because in my country they love a heavy girl !.
Thank you again
Sending you love all the way from Iraq / Kurdistan
this video is so relatable and it is helping me so much. i’m at 180 lbs (heaviest i’ve ever been) and hearing that you SHOULDNT go on restrictive diets etc is very encouraging. just eating in a healthy way and listening to your body makes me feel like losing the weight is doable!! i appreciate your positivity and i hope i can stick to this!!
Hi Madison! Happy to hear this was helpful to you! It totally is doable when you start going off of how you feel!
That's a beautiful way to look at it! Thanks for sharing. :)
Hello! I love this explanation, how can I start to change my mindset about my body and accept that God has given me my body to cherish and love? I've had a lot of negative comments from family about my body because it's not the athletic body they know me to have. How do I not let family get to me and the way I accept my body? Thank you
I'm SO happy I came across your channel. I'm in such a similar situation, and this is so helpful and delivered in such a nice way.
I am 15 years old, and one day in the beginning of quarantine, I just said, I don't want to live like this anymore. 4 months ago I was 165lbs, and now I'm 138lbs and I'm trying to lose 10-15 more pounds, but I want to, and want to continue. And watching you has really helped me.
how’d you do it?
@@adanma5499 I just decided to start exercising, only 10 min workouts. And eating clean helped. I now only (try to at least) east sugar 1 time a week; and just don't sit around all the time. Try to be as active as you can all the time. AND... water will become your best friend.
Such great advice! Moving a little bit each makes the world of a difference. Cheering you on, girl! xo
@@LoveSweatFitness thx! I watched your this vid at the beginning of quaratine, and then watched it again and the second time was really the wake up call. So thx u
