Anytime you ride I will be with you. I have actually ridden that road on my Wing several years ago. Spent a week in that area riding as many roads as we could until we had to go back home. This video brings back some very good memories. That 421 store you pointed, we had stopped there for a break.
Lol, thanks Jim!
There was a big group of bikes at that store but not many on the road. The cool windy weather and threat of ahowers may have played a part in that.
Hey Mitch .... Looks like a GREAT ride !! (Bristol Motor Speedway, Bristol TN is the second to "smallest Nascar track 0.533 mi. in length ...) . I went to a race there in the mid 90s .... You had some wind, but overall pretty GOOD riding weather 😎👌👍 ... Be Safe... Eric
Thanks Eric! I did get tossed around a couple of times but it was still a good day!
Looks like a great ride. I’ll be down in Maggie Valley later this week in the smokies. If you haven’t done it yet you should make a trip to do Back of the Dragon from Marion to Tazewell VA. Over 3 mountains with some good views. 👍🏻
Yep, I've been watching some videos on that. Haven't been there yet but hope to soon. Maggie Valley is beautiful also!
Thanks!
Sure enjoy your video. I have roots a little town Saltville, Va. was were my mother was from. Thanks for sharing be- safe.
Thanks! We use to go trout fishing in some mountain stream in Saltville. Been a day or two ago though!
@@LifeInTheGap Yes my uncle took me up on the top of mountain lake.
Awesome! That brought back some OLD memories. We went there a couple of summers when I was a teenager!
My first time on it was by chance. Just followed my dad. Great road.
That had to be awesome getting to ride with your dad! My dad rode once...about a tenth of a mile and dumped my first bike, a brand new '86 Honda Rebel 250. Thankfully he wasn't hurt but he never rode again.
Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed the ride, but I'm disappointed that you didn't ease over to the right side of the lane and let the Harley by.
He never got close enough or I would have. Those shots that looked like he was close were zoomed in Thanks for watching!.
Did this road 4 years ago in a car. Was a great ride until a young guy in a Mustang GT decided to take the hair pin turn across the line. If I was on a motorcycle would not be texting this.
It's dangerous out there with people shortcutting those curves. I don't understand why they do that.
hi
Hello! Thanks!
Speak up
Sure thing! People usually tell me to "shut up"!
Where do you live? Your so lucky to have such beautiful roads and scenery
The western-most tip of Virginia. We're within a couple-3 hours of a lot of good roads.
