This actually has me theorize it now that the playable Pokémon trainer pulled out a cross, but what if Arceus really *IS* just the Biblical god, but they call God Arceus and see him like they see Pokémon, like that’s *THEIR* depiction of him in Pokémon tradition?
I think it was stated somewhere that the humans in pokemon simply evolved from pokemon themselves, so it makes sense that their god is depicted as a pokemon too.
@@jasonfurumetarualkemisto5917for real given how scary Pokemon are in there pokedex
@@jasonfurumetarualkemisto5917
That being said, Misty did hold out a cross in that one Pokémon episode, so for all we know there was a Pokémon that was crucified for everyone’s sins in the Pokémon universe.

My headcanon is that the people of the Pokémon world see arceuas as it’s beta
I hate Carmine with all my soul, but her poor Poochyena didn't deserve that.
Carmine is awesome, you just have a fragile ego lol.
@@diostaku2 What are you talking about ? I hate Carmine because she's a mental abuser. The people with a fragile ego are the ones who hate Kieran because he calls them out on their lie and antagonizes them (though yeah the game forcing us to lie and the making us face the consequences of it sucked).
Yeah I agree, she really is a mental abuser, she’s basically the reason why kieran is going bad in the indigo disc @@Oceane1803
Carmine is sick af it's just Kieran who's running into a dark path also how tf is she a mental abuser?
@@Oceane1803 It never stops being funny how emotionally fragile Pokemon fans are, as soon as a character that doesn't worship them appears in the game, said character suddenly becomes super hated.
It reminds me of WoW players, and that's always a bad sign.
She def deserved that for how she treated Kieran and basically started his villain arc
It's why I left all but one of my usual mons in the box when I first arrived in Kitakami. On top of the fun of catching new mons and creating a new team, I also wanted at least SOME challenge. lol
yeah I just challenged myself to only use mons caught in kitakami for the dlc might do the same for indigo disc
i did somewhat of the same thing because itd be boring if i just steamrolled everything
Same, wasn't even a main team mon, just one of the starters I didn't pick that I traded for leveled to more or less match the area based on the wild pokemon I saw...but it taught kitakami to respect the Dirge
Do you ever just wonder why the literal God of this series is just okay with being captured. cant he just break out of the pokeball whenever he wants?
It might be an infinitesimal fragment of the true one. Even outside of Legends Arceus, there are hints like Cyrus relying on the red chain due to a mix of his philosophy and certain Legendaries being unable to exercise their true power once caught.
He can, and he would if he feels like you stopped being interesting for him
Arceus literally just gives you one of his 1,000 arms to see how you use that thing, as far as i know
The pokemon is just a vessel, a mere gift you receive from the actual Arceus that contains a mere fraction of Arceus's strength
He’s bored for being in his dimension. Also mew told him it’s fun
He can. He’s here because he wants to be. The only times you get an audience with Arceus is when it wants to give you one.
Omg you need to make an animation of beginner Kieran getting absolutely demolished without landing a single hit by a "Pichu" which is just a Zoroark in disguise.
I felt so bad for this kid, I was grinding my Kitakami pokedex and thus only had Zoroark up front while the rest was all first stage baby pokemon to grind exp for them.
Imagine being in Kieran's shoes and seeing your entire team be DEMOLISHED by a Pichu with Sucker Punch and Nightslash.
I think we need that

This is the exact same thing that happened with me, except my Lucario beat her Poochyena into a pulp.
I like this approach of you not catching Arceus, but instead it deciding it to bring you its services, as a sort of pact with God
I could imagine a trainer just kneeling and praying to their god pokemon to use moves and it takes like 20 minutes per prayer.
Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God.
Defend me from them that rise up against me.
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
The mighty are gathered against me.
Awake to help me and behold.

Being a paladin with divine intervention vibes...
After attending 72 communions Florian gained the ability to coalesce the holy energy of each of the communions' wafers into a physical vessel to call upon Arceus.
Incense-scented gasses forced up The Lord's divine medium.
Florian: Arceus, banish this formicator of motherly figures to the blackest pit of Hades
I would say that Hades is just the entire f’cking afterlife, but you specified where in Hades, so we’re good.

The fact that you can literally catch god in Pokemon is absolutely insane
Or at least the equivalent of Krishna. Pokemon Legends: Arceus points out after you catch Arceus that the Pokemon is just an avatar of the actual god behind the Pokemon, a mere fragment.
