I didn’t think there would be this much attention from so many ppl! Just a week ago I only had a bit over 100 subs and my previous vids garnered a few hundred views at most.
Initially, I thought using an AI David Attenborough would be a fun choice to voice Pokearth but didn’t understand the potential consequences that came with it. After looking into it a bit more, I DEFINITELY want to avoid any potential problems headed my way.
I don’t know if this will help but I will NOT be monetizing this video and my other AI Attenborough video. Also, future episodes of the series will instead be voiced by a voice actor. I won’t be touching AI voices anymore

makes me so happy to see stuff like this! like there really is no huge reason why people shouldn't use AI voices in casual non-professional projects but it's still so much cooler to see artists supporting artists and actual humans being given opportunities to use their skills. very cool of you to make that decision

That's smart. Attenborough Lore got through about a dozen well-made videos of AI David Attenborough explaining the ins and outs of Warhammer 40,000 Lore before getting a Cease and Desist from the actual David Attenborough, and the channel had to be wiped and started from scratch as www.youtube.com/@Scholarslore .

That's understandable. But seriously, I have always been saying that the pokemon company NEEDS to do something like this. An Our Planet type of documentary with pokemon. Thank God, someone had the same idea but can actually do something with it. 😂

@@applekoi8639 That's what I'm guessing as well. Maybe it's something like how in real life, Venom is pretty expensive for the body to make, and it would be a waste to use it for a territorial or sexual display. However, if there was a predator nearby intent on eating offspring, that's when venom/poison would be the most beneficial; killing the predator means there's no chance for it to come back and try again, given it doesn't escape first..
Why waste it on another male, who is only seeking to take females but not kill them, when they can just size each other up and just have a Slam fight until one male relents and leaves? They don't have to waste their venom and both males get to live to see another day. No need to fight to the death if it isn't necessary.
Which brings into question how human trainers could command attacks like Poison Jab or something without killing the opponent.
      Suspension of disbelief I guess.

@@TORchic1 I suppose if we believe that antidotes can cure pretty much all Pokémon poison, the trainer with a poisoned Pokémon would give theirs a antidote or go to a pokemon center. Even if we went with more real world examples of needed specific antidotes for poisons, clodsire seems to be quite common in paldea so it would make sense for a antidote to be developed.
The poison spikes could also be used for hunting, if we leaned towards a more meat eating clodsire. Their backside is the same color of mud, so I’d bet it’d be easy to just bury themselves and wait for something to walk over them!

I love the combat. Really easy to imagine something like Clodsire sizing each other up by standing and mouth-gaping before fighting. Excited to see more!

The elephant seal bellows are such a nice touch! As someone who grew up watching animal documentaries and also being in college for game design, this is seamless from the real deal and absolute heaven! Im binging all of the videos now, absolutely stellar work :)

Love the idea of Pokemon nature documentaries! This is so well done! I would love to see the mud actually sticking to them if that's possible, I think it would add a little extra spice to it.
