- There's a ton of Pokémon that people hate. Whether that be for a good or bad reason is entirely up to you, but I decided to try and search for Pokémon that nobody hates (Or at least the mass majority of Pokémon fans can agree to like)

It’s ESPECIALLY GRATING when the ONLY reason that everyone dunks on your favorite Pokemon is because of some STUPID THING that somebody wrote on the internet and now you can’t even say what your favorite Pokemon is online.

Also, there may be Pokemon that nobody hates, but it’s also nice to know that of all the Pokemon there are, they’re all somebody’s favorite.
I genuinely feel bad for people whose favorite Pokemon was Vaporeon before the copypasta destroyed its reputation. At least with Pokemon like Gardevoir, Lopunny, and Tsareena, the people who like those Pokemon knew the degeneracy they were getting into from the start. But Vaporeon was a perfectly normal and respectable Pokemon for two decades before being retroactively ruined.

Few things I wanted to say because I having a I-don’t-shut-up problem
When I was a kid, I hated Snorlax because (kinda like Slaking) I thought that it was a lazy Pokèmon that didn’t listen to orders most the time. Why? It looked lazy, and I think there was moments in the anime I saw as a kid that convinced me that it was useless. Typical half-baked child logic. Then I grew up and cherish my boi Snorlax sooo yeah

Gotta be honest, I really don't like Suicune. Design-wise, it's cool, but i freaking hate the fact that it got more attention than Entei and Raikou. It got to star in a movie, it's in Pokken Tournament, it's the mascot of Crystal, it's had several anime appearances, and it was one of the first paradox legends to be revealed. Meanwhile, Entei only has a movie role, and Raikou barely has ANYTHING.

How would reshiram fare? I mean of the legends its one of the most badass and it doesn't get to much attention from the pokemon company so it's not freaking everywhere you walk.

I do hate snorlax but it was some peoples fault. When i used to have anger issue people i knew would show snorlax to me in a no child friendly way alot and it made me hate it

Big disagree on Snorlax. When I was a kid, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get past Snorlax blocking the path to progress, so I spent a lot of time wandering aimlessly until I bump into a Snorlax keeping me from going where I want to (english isn't my first language, and I don't read much as a kid, so that's a real gut punch) Plus, fighting or catching it can become nightmarish for first time and nuzlocke players.
The funny thing is that I love Ash's Snorlax, but in-game Snorlax pisses me off so much on a personal level. The nostalgia-baiting in X and Y doesn't help.
If I were to add some Pokemon on the list, I'd like to go with the Galarian Slowpoke family. Great typing and really cool twists on the originals. I've yet to see anyone take issue with them that are not just against Gen 8 in general.
Summary of the first minute: Me getting bullied for not liking Pikachu

My top two favorite Pokémon are Venonat and Vulpix. I mean I don’t know how useful they are (I’m not really someone who pushes them in that light, I usually just try to have each type in my party) or if they get hate, but I think both are underrated in appearance. Venonat, while having a less cutesy design, I feel like really sweet and has a great color palette, let alone it’s fun to have a larger Pokémon that’s at least a little cute. Vulpix is one of the cutest Pokémon, in league with Eevee, and I’m sad it’s not talked about as much (especially its eyes) and Ninetails is a great evolution.
I actually really hate Buizel and Floatzel. They're legitimately my least favorite pokemon. I don't like their cries and they're way too fast making them difficult to run from. They also get Aqua Jet and Pursuit by level up. So if you try to just kill it bc you can't outspeed it to run, you're probably taking damage bc of Aqua Jet and if you do outspeed it to run, you're still probably taking damage due to Pursuit.

The ONLY Pokémon on this list that I didn't like was Noivern, and yet it's a "dislike" more than hate

I still love Gliscor despite associating with my Ex-Boyfriend (it was his favorite Pokemon and even had it as his profile picture cause I decided it should be so yeah lol)
I know how that feels, I loved Unovan Zorua but it was my Ex's favorite too. Anyways, best I can do to help is tell you that it's OK to continue to enjoy things even when it was something your ex liked.
honestly, bhillip and zorua would both work as your channel pokemon, since one's blue and one's red, and your channel seems to have red and blue elements

I'm really surprised at the inclusion of Buizel and especially Floatzel. Sure, nobody HATES them, so they fit the criteria, but I don't see a lot of LOVE for them either. I feel that people are generally indifferent about these two... well, Floatzel mostly; Buizel has at least some boyish-cuteness to it (in a similar vein to Pancham).

Snorlax was (believe it or not) the VERY first Pokémon that I ever saw
It was nearly 10 years ago (I was 7 at the time, and I turned 16 earlier last month) when I saw one of my mom’s plushies (which was a Snorlax) and I asked her about it. She showed me the anime episode where Ash catches Snorlax, and that was exactly how I got into Pokémon. Ever since then, I went on to have quite a few different favorite Pokémon, from Umbreon to Glaceon, to (and keep in mind this was when I was around 9 or 10) Pikachu. My favorite now is… well, look at my channel name and my pfp. The point here is that even though Snorlax isn’t my MOST favorite Pokémon (not even in the top 3), it still has that sentimental value to it… ya know?

I can't stand spheal. There was this video I saw as a kid that was like hey look at all these cool pokemon, some where starters, most of them where fully evolved. Then there was seal. This TH-camr was like no you don't want this cool shiny you want regular old spheal because it has ice ball. That video was so stupid I hated spheal ever since.
Also as a kid I hated lugia. It's because it had thumb wings. Girl is built like a rubber glove. I don't hate lugia anymore I just remember this strongly.
It goes both ways because I've seen a hate for my favourite pokemon burmy before. Like yeah he is terrible at battle but have you ever considered his no cloak form looks really funny? I remember seeing it when the beta for diamond and Pearl leaked and being amazed that a pokemon from gen 4 had another form I had never seen before.

I will say this, a lot of people in the competitive scene hate Gliscor because it's basically the CEO of big stall
0:02 it’s one thing we humans are good at, hate. For valid reasons or stupid ones. We instinctively hate.
Pokémon isn’t special. But they have had very valid reasons to hate how GameFreak makes their games. Which is… just unoptimized. SV was phenomenal except for its technical performance.
But this is about Pokémon in general. I hate Delibird. It’s a pointless, weak Pokemon that for some reason was hard to find in Gen 2. Why? But I absolutely adore Iron Bundle. It’s just superior in every way and it’s a fun little goofy toy bird.
Headcanon time: I think every future paradox form was designed to fulfill some use. I like to think Iron Bundle is a washing machine but maybe it’s an ice maker.
Quick rundown:
Valiant- either built for war or just robot Pokémon battles.
Thorns- a mini power plant maybe nuclear since a lot of radioactive material are minerals (ignore that uranium, a metal, is what’s used in nuclear plants).
Hands- It’s medical equipment. A kind of defibrillator. Idk its hands look like those paddles to me.
Treads- Excavation/digging equipment
Moth- Solar panels. And its poison time comes from sun poisoning.
Jugulis- I’m not confident on this but maybe some kind of weather radar? Or radar in general? Or a satellite and its dark type is the darkness of space.
The Swords of Paradox were all designed to replace the SOJ after disappearing or going extinct.
Miraidon: literally just a motorcycle. A Tron style motorcycle.
But back to the topic these future paradox Pokémon are very divisive too. Bundle is loved because it’s just a goofy little guy and more significantly different looking from the original. Valiant because it’s a fusion (and if you’re a Ben 10 fan you’ll know people like fusions… also Infinite Fusion is a thing) and it looks bad@$$. And Miraidon because, well it’s not just a robotic Koraidon or Cyclizar it is its own unique design. Plus we bond with the box legendaries in this game.
But the rest are… not really “hated” just not ones that really excite people.
I don't hate Wooper, but I don't think it's as cute as everyone claims it to be. Though, this only applies to Johto Wooper, as I really like Paldean Wooper. Maybe it's because I used one in my Violet playthrough, but I do like that version of Wooper.
Yeah, Snorlax rocks. I would like to say though, it IS cool.

Furret is cute. It's definitely one of the better early route rodent Pokemon and I think it's WAY cuter than Sentret.
Fun fact: Marill is the only member of its evolutionary line that I like.

There aren't really any instances of me disliking Buizel or Floatzel, with the only exception surprisingly being Ash's Buizel. I don't know, I just didn't like its attitude, but it did get better as the series progressed.
I personally prefer Ho-oh, but I see why people love Lugia. I mean its name is almost "Luigi," what's not to love?
Okay, but for Suicune, I think it's a tad overrated. Plus, Goh's idiotically easy capture of it and the existence of Walking Waste did not help. I don't dislike it, but my opinion on it sours a little from time to time. Still a sick shiny though.
Snom is cute. I like Snom.

Putting Snorlax on a "Pokémon nobody hates list" is mad insane considering literally the entire TCG community hates it with a vivid passion (including myself), it's literally one of the worst possible choices

My opinion is simple when it comes to the both Wooper evolution lines. They all look like they know how to party. I mean, if Wooper was real and you bring them to a house party, I bet you they'll do a sick dance that goes viral online!
Snorlax is just a dude, and sometimes that's enough. Sometimes, you just need a guy being a dude.
And if I may throw my hat into the ring.
I submit to you, Arcanine. They're great competively, they're just a big fluffy dog. They do have an ugly shiny though, but still nobody's perfect and I've yet to see anyone really hating them. Apart from when you're trying to catch Growlithe and they roar you out of battle. Maybe.
I wish I could say the same for my poor starter Meganium.

In game they explain Snorlax's Gigantimax form by saying that it has a bunch of stuff like dirt, rocks, seeds, etc. stuck in it's fur from sleeping on the ground all the time. These things absorb the GMax and grow into a little patch of forest when Snorlax Gigantamaxes. Out of game it's a reference to common jokes about how someone can be so lazy and still that stuff starts to grow on them.
Honestly, the only hate I know of towards Buizel is the hate towards that one quest in Legends Arceus where you need to find a big one... ugh, I hated that quest. But even then, Buizel is still really good~ And glad to see Luxray on this list! The big kitty is one of my favorites~ I also never see much hate for either version of Zorua. Which is good, cuz if someone hates the cute little illusion foxes, I'll let the mama Hisui Zoroark deal with them :)
Sometimes pokemon are just friends, not strong or weak, not cool or boring, just friends and that is all that matters. With that said I shall propose to you the Ugly Friend Club, where we respect Jinx and Bruxish in all their... personality, because everyone deserves to be seen, even if the mirror says otherwise /half joke
I've seen Snorlax get some dislike (maybe not hate, but dislike) from Smash Bros players for being one of the more annoying Pokeball Pokemon to die to, and Gliscor definitely gets hate from competitive players for being an annoying stall menace with Poison Heal. I don't hate them, but I've definitely seen it.

I hate pikachu, not just because it's popular, but because it's overused in merch, especially when there are significantly more fitting for some designs.
Ngl for me personally I can't say that I hate certain pokemon. The closest I have to it is like indifference with pokemon such as Bruxish, Veluza, or Garbodar which are hated by most.

well Noivern being a dragon is seen in it's name as it's a Wyvern, a kind of dragon with only 2 legs and a pair of wings, so the dragon typing makes sense for it
also in gen 4, i didn't really use a luxray on my team at all, personally i just don't find electric types to be all that useful in my opinion which is why i rarely use them, also luxray is a physical electric....and we all know how those guys just cannot seem to work unless they have a great signature move

I have a snom on my OU team named Nom-Nom. She is the ace of my team and has been coming in clutch in online battles and local tournaments. Her latest victory came with her defeating my opponent’s Walking Wake with Mirror coat
