I loved the first half of this more than the second half. The back-and-forth nature of the battle was nice, and some moments such as Lucario bashing Vaporeon right off the mountain was beautiful.
I've never played a single Pokémon game (aside from Yellow Edition and the demo of Sun and Moon), but I can confidently say that TerminalMontage would make the best Pokémon cutscenes.

I love how hard the fight is! Especially if you use a Pokemon that I think is required to catch who can sweep the entire fight and has a move that restores half health, raises evasion and you can sometimes do another move immediately after in the Giratina phases!
Absolutely love the animation and the voice acting. Volo's voice fits so well. I like how this animation also shows how cruel a pokemon battle can be. On a sidenote, since playing the game I wondered about that Lucario, as I thought they wouldn't serve trainers with an evil heart.
I don't know why but I keep thinking that Cleffa's finishing blow is Metronome which rolled Pursuit out of sheer luck. If that happens to be the case, That is honestly a crushing blow to the morale of the being of antimatter. I almost feel sorry for him to be honest.
What’s funny to me is that Cleffa uses Misty Explosion on the Spiritomb even though Misty Explosion isn’t in Legends Arceus. Neither is Metronome so this thing is magic. Also I did the Volo fight without completing the Spiritomb quest yet he still had one in his team…

It's here I realized we haven't gotten a "Somthing About" for a mainline Pokemon game until now and it's something we've been sorely missing.
