I am a sophomore in highschool and my dream is to get in to the academy. Any tips on what I need to do in order to get accepted? I've done a lot of research but just wondering about your experience?
Basic requirements for admission eligibility is that candidates must be U.S. citizens, between the ages of 17 and 23 as of July 1 of the year they would enter the academy, unmarried, not pregnant, have no dependents, and good moral character. Rank in the top 40% of class is also typically required of applicants. The good thing is that you have time. If your school supplies you with a weighted GPA, make sure to do Honors and AP classes and do well, these will be the largest boosters in your grade. ... You should try to get a 3.5 GPA, a 1500 on the SAT or 31 on the ACT as your minimum requirements.
My class of 2022 application is totally done!!! Medical eval, document packet, bgo interview, everything. Now the waiting game begins. Wish me luck!
