Thank you for showing the lighter side of the AFA and all the fun times with other cadets and family! And congrats on graduation! However, I know how hard you had to work academically, mentally, and physically to make it to graduation - I hope viewers of your videos understand and appreciate your hard work and dedication! I live in Old Colorado City and enjoy the frequent flyovers of different Air Force aircraft. My dog likes it too and whenever she hears the sound of military power aircraft she wants to go outside and see! My son served 5 years in the AF as a F-16 crew chief in Korea and on the agressor squadron at Nellis. Good luck with your career and thank you for your service!
Very cool edit! For me emotional. Being a Airforce Cadet is a dream since I was a kid. When I see this I could start crying. I´ll never experience this because I am not an US Citizen.
Congratulations on graduation and getting selected for pilot! Remember the most important thing in training: Always have working markers in all four colors. Just kidding...kind of...
I am currently enlisted and plan to put in an OTS package in for 24OT02. My question is, do those who attend the USAFA intend to be lifers? Also, I am looking for a rated pilot slot too, CONGRATS!
Thank you & best of luck! To answer your question, no. While some may plan to serve 20+ years, many also just intend to serve their initial commitment (though they may change their mind along the way)
How many cadets will be an aviators/pilots? How is specialization in fight pilots, transport pilots, patrol pilots, ground attack pilots, helicopter pilots, bomber pilots etc.etc. ? How many cadets will be part of infantry, suport, maintenance and engineering, etc. etc.?
Of the 921 graduates of the Class of 2023, 419 went Rated. Pilot - 398 RPA - 12 ABM - 4 CSO - 5 Individuals selected for pilot won’t know their airframe until completing UPT & earning their wings!
Oh to be young again! For those of us who served before (RAF) we happily pass the torch to such able young people. Safe Skies to you all.
USAFA is a beautiful place. I will be visiting it in two weeks! I'll never forget giving my son his first salute at the Falcon Club in 2013!
As a ‘94 grad, I absolutely miss USAFA. The skies pictured on November 28th and January 10th are amazing. Excellent work and congratulations!
AIM HIGH, keep it going and congrats...GOD BLESS AMERICA
