Nice video but your comment about the black clamshell and the beauty and the beast only being in that kit is wrong! I have a copy in the black clamshell that was not part of a kit it was purchased individually.
I found a sealed japanese disney anniversary tape, i think its the 50th anniversary but i cant find it anywhere online may have to throw it up on ebay and see if a collector sees value otherwise ill just keep it on my shelf as a weird thing to find a sealed japanese disney tape in the middle of florida.
The cars vhs sold for $500 on eBay, there’s a few other cars vhs on eBay listed for 5 grand! I believe it’s legit pricing because the cars vhs was very rare and only available through Disney Movie Club. Also the wild vhs, chicken little, sky high are some others that were only available through Disney movie club. The reason there so rare is because they were only available through the club and also more people were buying dvds instead of vhs. 2006 was the year vhs died, Bambi 2 was the last Disney vhs sold in stores that year.
CARS was also the last VHS Disney did and came right at the end of VHS period. History Of Violence was the last VHS released before the resurgence of new genera collectors VHS.
Big thing is can you fix a break vhs movies with Scotch tape and cut off some the Scotch tapes are fixable at all times if you know how to fix one your self
I'm starting to see a lot of vintage Disney toys, like plush bears and banks. "Donald Duck" bank. "Mickey Mouse" bank. Would you know if those command high values?
Before Vhs... Rca had a giant plastic Cover made over the disk and you had to insert the whole piece into a player and on the right hand side you had a pull down on it to get it to play. The cover of the movie was on the front the back of a movie as in the description of it was on the back like on a normal DVD or VHS. It was a giant square it was all plastic and at the bottom it was rounded off on both sides and this had to be about 2 feet in length and width. I believe the name had laser inside of it. Or maybe laser disk. Do you know much about these?
Thanks for this very informative and realistic video. My wife has a box of Disney VHS movies she collected as a teen and has several Black Diamond in very good shape and also a BD sealed 101 Dalmatians and BD sealed Dumbo. Would these sealed copies have value? I really liked your presentation of the info. Thanks.
Any sealed one's in decent condition should do very well on ebay. As far as value, I'd look to see how much they are selling for because that price on these changes a lot.
The truth is its for laundering money for drugs if they can show income made they pay taxes and its legit where they got it from. There is many scams going on on all reseller sites I would put out a video but I'm to lazy.
A plausible theory for sure. I've seen a LOT of BS auctions in the camera accessory market (camera bags, battery chargers, etc) which appear to be selling for anywhere between $250 and $100,000 and obviously should be in the $5-$10 range.
maybe in general but theres some issues with sky high resale prices to launder drug money. the first, it attracts attention and suspicion, especially if its something with the popularity of the Disney name. Secondly, it involves another "party" to be the buyer and clean funds anyways. Suspicion may not be enough to catch you for laundering but that doesnt matter if you have feds waiting for you to do whatever is bringing in dirty dollars. as for this instance, the complexity of what is needed to secure that vs the total idiot who would be using a Disney vhs as the chip, doesnt add up. if drug related, or not, that would probably be a large network using that as one way to make payments or make it move/disappear. I dont know about ebay but shell companies and overseas banks are not uncommon for making "payments" back into a country. without a super complex web, safer to hide that shit in less suspect transactions or even "legit" business. Laundormats were a popular one and used in film/tv, like "power", but you had better be running that water/power bill way up. of course legit business takes clean capital to start, though you can easily filter a lot of dirty cash into it. Another is the car wash, a la breaking bad. Service related without stock, easier to bs records, ect. And who's to say your car wash isnt running hoses right down the drain all day long? they would actually have to count your traffic, which has its own set of issues. lotteries are another way to launder. if youre mit students, you might even turn a profit instead of paying a vig, though they werent laundering, just gaming the system.
Hi. My story about selling V.H.S tapes. I have sold sets of 12 & 24 of the Disney black Dimond, V.H.S. and other V.H.S tapes for years now!! They sold a set of 24 Disney tapes for $640.00 on a 7 day auction, I have done really good with old Horror V.H.S tapes also, Just off the wall tapes, worse than a crappy B movie? But believe it or not some of them are worth a small fortune. I have sold one V.H.S tape about 2 years ago for $1500 and it was not in the best shape at all either. I still have about 15 or 20 old Horror tapes ? I thought I would hold on to ithem for a few more years? And also look for old V.H.S zombie movies, not like night of the living dead? They made millions of those, but just off the wall V.H.S tapes like Midnight Zombie, but no Cult-Classic movies, because they are not worth a whole lot. My most resent V.H.S movies I have sold was a Movie called Capicorn One, it was a space movie, or a movie about faking the moon landings, James Broland, and OJ Simpson star in it? It sold for $50 dollars and the other was Cady shack!! With Rodney Dangerfield, which was brand new in the plastic and I sold it for like $87 dollars on a 7 day Auction. V.H.S tapes are good and I have been selling them for years now, I can go out on any given weekend and find at least few movies that I can make $50 to $100 dollars on. Looking back on my makeshift spread sheets for the past 2 years, I have averaged about $ 250 a month on V.H.S tape sales, encluding some of the larger sales I have made, the larger sales really boost my average alot. So the moral of the story is to keep your eyes peeled for those strange and unusual V.H.S tapes because strange and unusual sells and to make an extra $250 or so a month from somthing most people just throw out? It's a no brainer. For alot of people $250 a month is a car payment, or insurance payment, utilities? Ect. The trick to ebay if you want to call it a trick is to have about 10 staple items you sell week after week, like the V.H.S tapes. That is what I do anyways. I acually have about 20 products I purposely go out and look for week after week and it generates me a good solid average income, Month after Month. A lot of Ebay seller's will not tell you this at all, but it's a very simple business plan that's works and if you can generate a halfway desent spreadsheet and track you averages on different products, then you can start to figure out excally what sells month to month and what will give you a solid income. Find tour first product with your spreadsheet and rinse and repeat over and over, until you have enough products on your list to make you the income that you want. I personally have made between $3500 to $4500 a month for about the last 11 years now, Ever since I Got out of the Military in 2005 . And in the months November and December I normally double my monthly income. To me it's easy work now!!, and I do not have a boss breathing down my neck and not a whole lot of stress, there is some anxiety and some stress but not much, things are always easyer when you make money. That's just my thoughts on V.H.S tapes and the proper way to run a Ebay business if you want a solid average income. Take care. Hawk out!!

Hi, I have a whole collection of the black diamond Disney VHS tapes mostly in the white clam shell 1 or 2 in the black cases, question is, should I Lot these together and sell as a Lot or one at a time, how would you sell them?
We got rid of a bunch years ago, but kept a few too, including little mermaid and anastasia (not disney, but we have it) and I think and hope all three Cinderella movies. Animated not live action.
Some of these have some value in Spanish. I mean, people sell them for nothing, but Cinderella, Lady and the tramp, Snow White and sleeping beauty were only released with their original Spanish dubbing in VHS. The only official Disney release of Cinderella with the original Spanish dubbing is the one with the blue cover shown here. Lady and the tramp as well, the only release with the original dubbing is the one with the cover shown here. Lady and the tramp is by far the hardest to find, it seems like that edition wasn't distributed that much, or maybe the movie just wasn't as popular as Cinderella, which is very easy to find
@@ThriftShopHustler of lady and the tramp? Cool little gem you got. The dubbing itself is not hard to find, it's available online thanks to fans that ripped the Blu ray and restored the audio from the VHS and synced it. But when it comes to something official, yeah, that VHS is the only thing Disney released with that dubbing. But actually the hardest to find is Melody Time, apparently it was only released with the original Spanish dubbing in 1984 by a Spanish film distribution company called filmayer. Thanks to that release is actually the reason why the original Spanish dubbing is available today. All other releases have been with the redub

Looked up prices on ebay today at the thrift store. I'm so Lemurian naive it's crazy. There was an Aladdin clamshell white case used VHS going for one million dollars. I told the young lady stocking and she said no worries, feel free to buy them all. I bought about fifty, great condition, even one black case Fantasia 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I was thinking of how life had taken a turn finally. Hahahahahahhhhhhhhhh. The books I bought are way more valuable... One million dollars, hahaha. Later I read all the info on that Aladdin VHS, he said if you buy it you will become famous!!!?!!! O...m...g.... 'Life is for learning', as Joni Mitchell says. Thank you for the informative video. Now all I need is a VCR player to watch all these videos, oh my.... 🥳Happy fourth of July weekend!!
Born in 92 my family collected Disney VHS’s actually collected all vhs or popular movies series In my childhood I’m sure we had every original vhs and box .. im also sure they probably sold them early 2000s in some random yardsale .. smh
And now thanks to your video, I now know that there is also a black case Dumbo VHS that I'll hopefully find in my travels one day. I only thought I was missing sword & the stone in that version. Also, apparently there is a version of dumbo released before the black diamond w/black case version.
hi i just picked up at a yard sale black diamond and says classic on tape a alladin and 101 dalmations and 2 different the rescuers a few others like 10 total how do i sell them and know what i should sell them for when ebay says 42,000 and 22,000 and 12,000
Great Video! Super informative. My question was about the Beauty and the Beast. Is it true that the ones that included the song "Human Again" make it a more valuable copy?
Great video! I have a question about a VHS tape that I own. I have a Beauty and the Beast vhs but it’s in a black case and it says “Beauty and the Beast a special work in progress, exclusively for academy members” and the tape itself has a serial number on the tape itself. The back of the vhs has like all the nominations it’s up for. I guess they made a “work in progress” version years later with a white cover but it’s not that. Is the one I own worth anything ?
Exactly, the seller prices do not reflect the actual value of the item. It's just what they are choosing to price it at. All the Black Diamond Disney titles aren't worth more than about $5 to $10 bucks each... if that.
I'm not expecting to sell mine for thousands like those fake listings, but I'm having a real hard time figuring out what is reasonable to list mine as...I also know black diamond sometimes is used to spark up the price but still, it goes without saying... I have a white label 1987 Pinocchio vhs (so, the original artwork from that wiki you show) BD A betamax jungle book BD, 1991 and masterpiece fantasia black case 1991, but I wasn't expecting much for this. Any tips for a new vhs seller? I know it's like hard to tell if you don't see them and you aren't obligated to but any help would be appreciated :))
Hi, just got a cache of videos VHS from giveaway yard sale. I have plenty of VHS Disney movies but I dont cant seem to get to the Fandom page that you showed on your video here. Plz help : ) thx
I found a copy of Fantasia black clam shell case and it has the year 1991 on the side of the tape itself. Do you know if it might be worth more than other versions?
HI THANK YOU FOR UR HARD WORK! HOW DO I KNOW IF THE VHS TAPE IN THE BOX IS THE ORIGINAL THAT CAME WITH THE BOX & NOT A SWAPPED OUT ONE? LIKE IF I FOUND A BLACK CASE ROBIN HOOD... HOW IS THE TAPE SUPPOSED TO LOOK SO I KNOW ITS THE PROPER MATCH FOR THAT BOX? ALSO IN GENERAL HOW DO WE PROPERLY MATCH THE CASES TO THE ORIGINAL PROPER TAPE THAT CAME WITH THAT BOX?...KUZ THERES BLACK CASES, BLACK BACK WITH WHITE FRONT, FIRST VERSION WITH FULL WHITE CASE & LATER VERSIONS WITH FULL WHITE CASE RIGHT? ... HOW DO WE KNOW WE HAVE THE RIGHT TAPE IN THE RIGHT BOX?... ANYBODY KNOWLEDGABLE PLEASE REPLY SOON.
Thrift Shop Hustler it’s the Sorcerer Mickey, I can send pictures of him. Some of my tapes have him on it and some don’t. I literally can’t find this answer anywhere.
You didn't explain the 2 types of black diamond coversbesides the one with the picture in the diamond there was just the black diamond with classic or classic Disney in written in the diamond. Also I have Song of the South and it is a copy, although I did see one in Walmart and should have picked it up as they were removed from the shelves the next day because the NWACP took issue with the black slave depiction, like it didn't exist. They haven't removed Gone with the Wind or Little Women which both showed black slaves. I could go on but that's not what this forum is about. I have many of the classic Disney cartoons but also their old movies like Toby. That would be nice to talk about. Also non Disney movies like the Yearling or Old Yeller.
have been looking on ebay lately and have seen some VHS tapes that appear to have been sold for a lot like The Fox and the Hound for 5,000 on March 7th 2019 or the one that sold for $400 on the same date, so how can a person tell if this is correct information? I check marked the box that said sold in the filter section.
at a garage sale i got Jungle Book, Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, and ET (green and black rare tape edition) for $1 all together. Are those disney ones legit worth what the internet says? (Fantasia and Jungle book around $1500 each)?
I got the first Pinocchio black diamond with the black clamshell case for ten cents at goodwill and the black diamond w/ black case Robin Hood for $2 at a flea market :)
@@ThriftShopHustler good to know, because saw copy that was sold at my job for $3.00 a few years back. I have the 2001-2002 reprint of this film (mine says the animal adventures series volume 1 instead).
So, what would the worth be for The Little Mermaid video???? And can you explain this a little better at what they did to correct the problem??? Thanks
Funny that just yesterday I was looking through my old VHS to see what is worth something and listed a black diamond beauty and the beast. At a reasonable price. Lol. I know I had some of those other more valuable ones but gave them away when my kids didn't like them anymore. :-(
Them vhs tapes on your video is to much money people like you need to remember this there is other ways of doing things if people knows what they are doing
My husband has a bin full of Disney movies. He even has the FIRST ( according to HIM) Little Mermaid movie with the castle on the cover and apparently they took the original ones off the shelf and redid the cover because one of the towers was in the form of a penis. He took his off his shelf and hid it and bought a new one so his kids wouldn't see it. Is this a true story or not??? I am going to recheck all of them and see if they have black cases and black diamonds on it. Thank you so much for this information!!!
I'm not sure if they took them off the shelves, I believe they found out about these after they were released for some time. There is no "Corrected" versions either.
You should make a video on Disney Demo VHS tapes that weren't ment to be sold, ive seen some on ebay and wondered if they are legit or fake demo tapes.
Screeners probably. They were shipped out to rental stores to be played in the store and advertise films and ext. I never came across any Disney ones. Screeners are good.
wanna know something funny? the reason I started my reselling business was because I saw on Facebook that you could resell these VHS movies for thousands of dollars. I found out this was a lie when I found these VHS movies at garage sales/ thrift stores from .25 cents to .99 cents!!!! at the beginning I thought it was me that I didn't know what to look for but then I compared the VHS that I got with the ones on eBay and they were exactly the same. That's when I thought I couldn't have been any more naive and now I learned my lesson lol I still need to resell all of them (like 200) but I feel better now thanks to your video :) also, another reason why I haven't sold them yet is that I need to watch every single one of them to make sure they work. Do you think it is worth the trouble? none of them are the very vintage or rare ones, just the $5-$20 ones. Thanks again for your video, you got a new subscriber here :)
Grey Elizabeth sorry to hear about your issues with first getting into VHS. Lots of miss info out there. I wouldn't worry about testing them all but atleast make sure the tape ribbon is not broken or bunched up inside the cassette
I don't agree with anything that you're saying about Disney VHS tapes, I think like anything if the people are willing to pay that then that's what makes it worth something, if they're willing to pay $10 or $10,000 we don't make the standards it's if somebody is willing to pay that much , once someone sells one and it's on the internet then I think that's what makes it sought after because they know someone else has bought it for that price. I keep hearing you say legit I don't think people are selling fake tapes if they have it for $30,000 and someone buys it , it's no different from buying a old penny and you bought that Pennyfor $5.00 and you turn around and sold it for $20,000 it's no difference.
Funny!!!! I just made a comment about the castle with the penis on The Little Mermaid and you just said that you will cover that!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Thanks.
Born in 92 my family collected Disney VHS’s actually collected all vhs or popular movies series In my childhood I’m sure we had every original vhs and box .. im also sure they probably sold them early 2000s in some random yardsale .. smh
Yeah, its ok. Only a very few are worth anything.
And now thanks to your video, I now know that there is also a black case Dumbo VHS that I'll hopefully find in my travels one day. I only thought I was missing sword & the stone in that version. Also, apparently there is a version of dumbo released before the black diamond w/black case version.
Some were in black boxes yes. Good luck!
I have a Bambi VHS black diamond, how would you price it?
Depends, Sealed, not Sealed. Mint or Poor condition. Lots of factors. Can't be worth more than $10 if Mint Used.
I have an original beta Robin Hood that belonged to my Great Aunt. Is it worth anything? Cannot find any information on it. Thank you.
It might be if its the first one in good condition.
Probably $5-$10 bucks. Maybe a little more.
Thanks for the tips Chris, i knew better yet fell for the price scams.
A lot of people did. Still till this day people think they are still worth a lot.
It's a common sense thing. Yet, that goes out the window when in need of money or greedy. Lol
Well folks need money, and if someone really paid thousands, then hey, good for the person who got the cash right?
@@OrionOlamPiksie if that's what is actually occurring Yes! And not money laundering.
What's a Black Diamond Fox And The Hound worth? Or even Fox And The Hound Gold Collection? Because I own both.
Not sure the current prices, check ebay solds.
Thanks for all the videos you do, they're always very helpful.
I appreciate the comment. I will do more this week. I have a huge list of these types of videos I want to do.
hi i just picked up at a yard sale black diamond and says classic on tape a alladin and 101 dalmations and 2 different the rescuers a few others like 10 total how do i sell them and know what i should sell them for when ebay says 42,000 and 22,000 and 12,000
I watched a video and the person on it said that the high prices could be connected to money laundering.
Yeah could be, from what I heard. Same to go with the Art Market too.
Good info on VHS tapes. I'll keep my eye out:)
Thanks for watching, yeah some good ones are still out there.
you forgot to put the link for that black diamond site.
I didn't, that website is long gone.
Great Video! Super informative. My question was about the Beauty and the Beast. Is it true that the ones that included the song "Human Again" make it a more valuable copy?
I'm not sure, I've never heard of that variant. I will need to look that up. Thanks.
You’ve never heard of it because that song was animated for the dvd anniversary edition, I don’t know if they have a vhs with it..
I have a sealed ET video (1988) and I have no idea how much I can get for it

You mentioned doing a video on cassettes. That would be cool.
I'll put it down for a future video. Thank you.
YES! Great idea! Cassettes would be a great video.
I have the black case Robin Hood... didn't know it was rare
Yeah its a rarer one.
I think it might be worth over $200, on worthpoint the Lion King version has sold for around that.
Dope just found black diamond the rescuers
nonoise bro, I got BOTH Rescuers

So why does eBay allow that BS pricing?
Free open market. If you feel a rock is worth one million dollars, you should be able to list it for that price.
I have a white label 1987 Pinocchio vhs (so, the original artwork from that wiki you show) BD
A betamax jungle book BD, 1991
and masterpiece fantasia black case 1991, but I wasn't expecting much for this.
Any tips for a new vhs seller? I know it's like hard to tell if you don't see them and you aren't obligated to but any help would be appreciated :))
Honestly they are most likely not worth much, even the first ones.
Wow thanks for the great information Chris!!!
You are very welcome Diana! Have a great week.
lets just call it priceless and done with it. i have most of them, but doesn't mean there worthless wait 10 more years perhaps and will see.
Yeah you never know! Space Aliens might come down and Disney VHS might be the fuel needed to power their space ships lol.
Thank you for doing this video and sharing your knowledge!!
You're very welcome
What about the Lithograph with the VHS?
Does that increase value?
Not really, the market for lithographs is small.
Hi, just got a cache of videos VHS from giveaway yard sale. I have plenty of VHS Disney movies but I dont cant seem to get to the Fandom page that you showed on your video here. Plz help : ) thx
To be honest most VHS are not worth that much. Maybe donate them to a Goodwill or other local thrift shop?
I found a copy of Fantasia black clam shell case and it has the year 1991 on the side of the tape itself. Do you know if it might be worth more than other versions?
This was a special release that came with a print. Not too rare but rarer than the normal one.
@@ThriftShopHustler Thanks for the reply. Mine is not sealed so I guess it won't have as high a value as others.
I have about 50 old Disney VHS that my mom gave me but for some reason there are No boxes. So they are worth nothing
Unless you have have CARS (2005) they are pretty much junk or someone that might use them to watch.
ALSO IN GENERAL HOW DO WE PROPERLY MATCH THE CASES TO THE ORIGINAL PROPER TAPE THAT CAME WITH THAT BOX?...KUZ THERES
BLACK CASES, BLACK BACK WITH WHITE FRONT, FIRST VERSION WITH FULL WHITE CASE & LATER VERSIONS WITH FULL WHITE CASE RIGHT?
...
HOW DO WE KNOW WE HAVE THE RIGHT TAPE IN THE RIGHT BOX?...
ANYBODY KNOWLEDGABLE PLEASE REPLY SOON.

U havnt answered the question
Is it only Black Diamond ones or what about Masterpiece Collection ones?
Masterpiece one's are pretty much not worth much. Maybe some brand new sealed one's could be worth $10-$15 each.
What about the ones with Mickey printed on the tape? Are those any different than the ones without? Because I actually do have a couple of those.
Yeah sorry, never heard of that.
Thrift Shop Hustler it’s the Sorcerer Mickey, I can send pictures of him. Some of my tapes have him on it and some don’t. I literally can’t find this answer anywhere.
Dark Arts//Fatal Media You ever find the answer to this?
Yes I know what you mean ,the white flames, they do well. Depends on the content.
Black diamond are pretty much worthless. Now if you have a copy of Cars on vhs you are holding a bit of money
Pretty much, some of the first black diamonds still could be worth picking up.
Thanks for the info.
have been looking on ebay lately and have seen some VHS tapes that appear to have been sold for a lot like The Fox and the Hound for 5,000 on March 7th 2019 or the one that sold for $400 on the same date, so how can a person tell if this is correct information? I check marked the box that said sold in the filter section.
Yeah, those prices are not legit prices.
@@ThriftShopHustler ok so how do u know what the legit prices are?
I found a lion king VHS tape on the floor is that worth anything ? (From 1995)
Yep, .25 cents
I have a Disney VHS called "Computers: Where They Come From and How They Work". Is that worth anything?
Never heard of that one, i'd look it up on ebay or worth point.
at a garage sale i got Jungle Book, Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, and ET (green and black rare tape edition) for $1 all together. Are those disney ones legit worth what the internet says? (Fantasia and Jungle book around $1500 each)?
Disney one's are not worth that much, sorry.
Thrift Shop Hustler dang. How much you think I could sell them for?
I have no idea without seeing them.
Im from the uk, and i dont think we had the "the black diamond classics" over here. Or did we???
Good question, I think you did have the "Song of South" though.
No, we just had the "walt Disney classics" standard sign.
I have most of the black diamond VHS tapes, but I attend not to sell them
Cool, most are not even worth much.
Thanks for sharing, great video
Great stuff! Man. Thank you for the info.

How do I know if my vhs black diamond and masterpiece collection is original
The black diamond will be on the side
@@ThriftShopHustler thank you for your reply!
I got the first Pinocchio black diamond with the black clamshell case for ten cents at goodwill and the black diamond w/ black case Robin Hood for $2 at a flea market :)
Nice pick ups, hopefully they were in good condition. The plastic used in making these didn't hold up well over time for most.
I got the 1985 demo pinocchio for $1.99 in really good condition @ Goodwill
Do you know, how much a mint condition sealed copy of Disney's _Old Yeller 50th anniversary edition,_ is worth?
Maybe $10-$15 depending on condition.
Thanks
Sealed New maybe $15-20, used mint maybe $5-8 plus shipping.
Where's the link to that fandom site mentioned in the video?
I don't have that link any more, sorry.
Do you remember the keywords used to search it on the site? I found the site but couldn't figure out what keywords to use.

First time here . Ty for the info . New at this .😊
Glad it was helpful!
Why doesn't Ebay clean up its site?
Not sure what you mean.
If these Vhs tapes are fake prices, why doesn't EBAY have monitors like Amazon and pull them down?
LiS Wright it’s not against their policy for people to put up their items for dumb prices
I have a ton of vhs and i know i had some of the cassettes but i have no idea where those are
Hopefully this video helps!
I think I have a few in my channel. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for stopping by, have a great holiday!
Any idea on a value for a demo tape of "Stitch The Movie"? I havent been able to find much info on it besides a youtube video.
Not sure how much a demo version would be worth. They made many of those too but obviously not as many as the regular release.
Appreciate the info its the first demo I have come across on my short journey to collecting vhs 😂. Its fun but alot of space taken up...
so if I have 5 of those, I can't sell it for more than 200$ ?? they are not sealed
None are worth that much sorry.
Wait what is the website to see the Disney vhs when it came out?
The website is gone now.
I have a 2nd version of Dumbo in a good white clamshell case but it is not sealed. What would it sell for today in 2021
Maybe $5
@@ThriftShopHustler thank you.
Funny that just yesterday I was looking through my old VHS to see what is worth something and listed a black diamond beauty and the beast. At a reasonable price. Lol. I know I had some of those other more valuable ones but gave them away when my kids didn't like them anymore. :-(
People like myself just got more vhs tapes offline for 10 dollars they are Disney VHS black diamond
I even think $10 is too much for those.
Them vhs tapes on your video is to much money people like you need to remember this there is other ways of doing things if people knows what they are doing
I have soooooo many of these don’t know what to do with them, any ideas?
Ebay Auction?
did you ever leave a link to the website you were on?
I don't think I did and I can't find it now, im sorry.

Really enjoying your videos!
Awesome, thank you!
They were pulled off the shelf.
You should make a video on Disney Demo VHS tapes that weren't ment to be sold, ive seen some on ebay and wondered if they are legit or fake demo tapes.
Great idea, but I don't know too much about them to comment on them.
@@ThriftShopHustler then maybe a video on how to tell if the vhs has been resealed or is actually brand new
Screeners probably.

That website is long gone.
where's the link?... you said you would leave below...?
The website is long gone, sorry.
I have a lot of them but still with the plastic never opened. You think they worth something?
Only the very first releases are worth much sealed. The others like $5-12 each.
Thanks , for take the time to answer !! Have a good one
Some of these high sale prices are people laundering money.
Yeah that is the general consensus.
For anyone looking for the link to those disney vhs > disney.fandom.com/wiki/Walt_Disney_Classics
Thanks for the link!
its crazy h ow you ignored that dealers preview sales tape there has been only 3 known to exist
Yeah, I didn't know that existed or was a thing. Thanks.
Thanks.
I got a seller who is selling VHS black diamond for a buck each. What ones should I get?
Only the very first ones stated in this video.
@@ThriftShopHustler I can't seem to find the link u were talking about the list

An interesting side story to these for sure.

thanks.
Do you watch the VHS movies before selling to make sure that it's okay?
I don't sell any but I would suggest it if its a rare one.
I test all opened VHS and take a picture of the screen to include in the listing.
