I randomly purchase Beanie Babies sometimes to add to my collection. I know most of them are not worth much since I see them for a dollar a lot at the flea markets back when I used to go often. Some of them are super cute despite not having a lot of value!
My mom collected these for a while. I tried to tell her the market was going to fall. She did have some of the Rare onese that are still worth money now.

Make Money On Ebay I agree!! Last Christmas I bought 50 stockings, gathered 50 of my Beanie Babies, NASCAR “collectible” cars and PEZ that I also collected, and added some leftover toys I purchased in bulk when I was actively selling on eBay, along with some other toys, stuffed animals, crayons, coloring books, bubble bath, and several other items that I purchased during the “after holiday sales”, then I put on my Santa suit, and in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve I left those goodies on 50 different peoples doorsteps in my small town. I got *A LOT* of joy doing that, even though not a single person mentioned anything on FB, Nextdoor, Twitter, YT, or even in our community newsletter. A leo even stopped me to say Merry Christmas and he saw what I was doing (praising me), and several people had Ring doorbells. But just knowing I made a lot of children happy made me happy! I’m actually going to be doing something very similar tonight for Easter. (Although I don’t have an Easter Bunny costume) I made a mold of “Easter Bunny paw prints” that I’ll be using (with flour) to make paw prints leading away from several of my neighbors doorsteps, and leaving Easter baskets full of all kinds of goodies, including some more of my Beanie Babies, in hopes I’ll make some children happy. My Beanie Babies and other “collectibles” have been just sitting in my china cabinet for 25 years. There are a few that hold sentimental value to me, but the rest made children happier than the “collectibles” made me in all these years. Btw, I enter every contest, giveaway, etc. so much so that I’ve won so many prizes that they take up too much space in my home office. I also sign up for freebies that I can either use, donate, or sell. I also use to sell magazine subscriptions on eBay until people started complaining that they didn’t receive the first issue 3-7 days after they purchased the subscription them from me (even though the item description _clearly_ stated that it would take 3-8 weeks to receive their first issue) that I finally had to stop selling on eBay because they refunded my buyers so much that it started costing me money just to sell them. Anyway, I’ve been looking for a partner to list all of the items that I have so we can split the profits. I run a small animal rescue organization out of Florida, and since my husband passed away two years ago, taking care of the animals _and_ trying to figure out the ins and outs of the different selling platforms has proven to be too much. Would you be interested in collaborating with me?

I have about 250 beanies stored in clear plastic containers (was given to my wife’s parents’ neighbors)… we never thought about it much, we just thought we give it away here and there, but never did… I’ve yet taken them out but they can be clearly seen through the clear containers and the beanies appear are in pristine condition with all their heart tags and stuff… as I said, the neighbor gave it to us about 20 years ago, and if I’m not mistaken, the neighbor had the beanies for about 10 years, give or take, so likely they were made in the early 90s (I plan to take them out in a week or so) … in any event, I have no idea how much they’re worth, I have no idea what these things are until very very recently… thanks for video sir, much appreciated… in the last 2 days I’ve been perusing through a lot of YT videos with a lot of hype… again, thank you the video

I have a question, my echo beanie baby has an error on its tush tag, instead of saying “Oakbrook, IL,. U.S.A. “ it says “Oakbrook, II.. U.S.A.” Is that worth money?
I heard online that Green Peace got involved and told Ty Warner that P.V.C. pellets were toxic and they told him off for using them until he eventually listened and discontinued all beanie babies stuffed with P.V.C. pellets and transitioned over to common P.E. pellets. The 1st edition Princess Diana teddy bears first came out of Indonesia and there are only 100 of them in existence and those are the most desirable ones because that was the first shipment. The Indonesia factory closed a short time later and Ty Warner had to transition manufacturing to China. The next rarest Princess Diana teddy bears were made in China and stuffed with P.V.C. pellets and both of the 1st editions had the swing tag error of having all the words on the bottom with no spacing. The P.E. pellet stuffed Princess Diana teddy bears had the swing tag corrected with the proper space and those are the more common teddy bears that were mass produced. I was lucky enough to track down an Indonesia P.V.C. pellet 1st edition and I'm giving it to my niece next spring.
question. is the factory error, wrong color, and wrong tag location iggy the iguana worth anything? i’ve heard they’re pretty common but on some blogs and stuff they say they’re worth up to 2000 but i definitely don’t believe that. just wondering cuz i came across one and i think he’s really cute
I got a mcdonalds millennium bear and a Royale blue peanut, they are both in perfect condition and have the tags. They are in the box. Would you think that they are worth anything?

I have a peace bear that I’m pretty sure is in mint condition except it doesn’t have the Ty tag or the name tag typically on the bottom. My grandma cut them off years ago for some reason. Anyway I’m not super positive that it’s worth much but I am curious for interest purposes.
So if they aren't worth anything, why are people paying thousands of dollars for some of them like the Princess Di ones and Peace Bear? I know the beanies with the errors are worth something.

What a coincidence, I just bought a beanie baby I thought might be something and searched it and found your old video. I have a Valentino bear with the heart. It does not have the word "Original" misspelled. It has the lighter brown nose, birthday says 2-14-94, but the tush tag says 1993 and made with pvc pellets. Could it possibly be worth anything, you obviously know your stuff.

I’m trying to sell my collection. I looked up the prices and the went from a few dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. Do mine have to be defects to sell for that much money? Or just rare ones like the peace bear and the Valentino one.
Tinfoilhat : I wouldn’t take advice from this guy. He obviously hasn’t looked up the SOLD Beanie Babies on eBay, a very simple exercise. There are HUNDREDS of Beanie Babies that have sold for over $1,000 and SEVERAL that sold for 5 figures with the highest priced one being $60,000. These prices are NOT what the seller’s listed them for but what the sellers were actually paid. Perhaps you should find a more knowledgeable purveyor of Beanie Babies from which to take advice before selling. Me? If I have an item EXACTLY LIKE one that SOLD on eBay, I use that amount as my listing or asking price and add 10%.
@@carolchildofgod1467 Many of the high priced ones on eBay are not what they seem. They are not actually worth those prices and arent actually selling for that.
What about other errors such has the tag saying “origiinal” and “suface wash” on the heart tag, or no stamp inside the tush tag? Do those have any value?
I have a question, I have a Snort pvc, tag errors beanie baby and I’ve been trying to find people who know what they are talking about to help me find the worth of it. Beanie babies first generation will be the next charizard Pokémon cards. I was hoping beanie babies come back on 2020 during sports boom and Pokémon cards.
I have a snort the bull in extremely good condition with both tags, on the back of the tush tag it says OAKBROOK IL, USA and theres no comma between the Oakbrook and the IL so thats a error. It also has PVC pellets which are discontinued for beanie babies. How much is it worth? also its style 4002 and the cardboard tag has a little star that says "BEANIE ORIGINAL BABY" on it. its from 1995

And all beanie babies could be rare tag are not it don’t matter i like a beanie baby I get it if it ain’t rare idc I still get it because I like it if it’s going for a stupid price I just look for a cheaper price
Jamie Lewis : Tag condition is actually a big play on how much they are worth, if there’s no tag don’t buy it unless it’s been authenticated! While I may not agree about the ones with stars on the tag, yes they can still be worth a lot but most serious collectors won’t touch a beanie without one or a crumbled one.
Jamie Lewis : plus look in the beanie baby price guide, even if you have a beanie that with a tag would be worth $600 is worth only $1 unless u get authentication then MAYBE it may sell
There are those less than 5% that are worth something, but it's just not worth your time and energy to look for them. There are literally millions of beanies out there. It's like looking for a needle in a needle stack.

I brought a first generation beenie babies but it’s from a second hand shop and it’s missing the tag and in horrible condition would he be worth anything?
I bet someone will still be interested in purchasing it for a lesser price. *cough me cough*. Many collectors would love to have one even in that condition.

I just wondering if it’s a more common are uncommon beanie baby my mom gave it to me when I was 6
Light blue peanut is common.
Thanks
And I have a parrot 🦜 beanie baby it’s not a rare one I don’t think but I still like it a lot 😄
i found some original 1993 pvc first 9 beanies took all the pvc ones at an estate sale. got most of them for 25 cents each. didnt know much about it other than pvc so i grabbed them all
Hopefully they were not the small McDonalds ones?
@@ThriftShopHustler no full sized. but looking at them again none are the valuable early versions. all have the hang tag star. Any value in them like $10 each at least? I have 118 about 100 of them have no damage the rest are semi creased. on the hang tag. Looked them over closely because I was putting on the tag protectors.
The factory shut down for the pvc version thats why they switched to pellets
Thanks, ive heard a few stories now on the change. Thanks for the info.
I bought won with all the errors for I dollar.
it was in packaging and everything.
not a single dent.
it’s probably the best purchase I’ve ever made.
Great.
I have claude the crab, princess the bear with PVC pellets. Valentino with original *origiinal* misspelled. Fuzzy gosport error *gasport* . iggy iguana with the rainbow skin. Peace the bear. And much others. How much money am I sitting on?

I have the Bernie baby, Curly from 1993-1996 and I searched it up and it is worth a LOT!!!
Very cool, nice!

You're welcome and I hope you have some treasures in there.
Would like to grade my 1st and 2nd generation Beanie Babies, Who do you recommend?
I'd search online, most of the graded companies are out of business. But look up "Beckys"
@@ThriftShopHustler Thank You
Thanks for passing on the knowledge u possess! Much appreciated!
My pleasure!
I have two Peanut- Royal Blue with the 3rd generation 1995 tags. Where would recommend selling and @ what price?
Last one mint sold for about $400.
this was really useful, especially the touch tag advice
I'd love if you made a video on what to look for when buying or selling vintage My little Ponies from the 80's
I know very little about that product line but a good idea. Thanks.
I have a Bernie Beanie Baby who’s tush tag says Ears. Along with some other errors. Think that would be worth anything or rare?
Yeah if real could be worth some nice bucks.
Great info, thank you.
How can I get my collection authenticated? I definitely have some rare ones, confirmed tag errors, first gens, etc.
Google "Authenticate Beanie Babies" that should help.
question. is the factory error, wrong color, and wrong tag location iggy the iguana worth anything? i’ve heard they’re pretty common but on some blogs and stuff they say they’re worth up to 2000 but i definitely don’t believe that. just wondering cuz i came across one and i think he’s really cute
common
I got a mcdonalds millennium bear and a Royale blue peanut, they are both in perfect condition and have the tags. They are in the box. Would you think that they are worth anything?
Not much, im sorry.
I was jut wondering what generation my mystique the pink tiger was from it has holographic original then beanies underneath then a holographic line underneath
I have no idea, google it.
I have a peace bear that I’m pretty sure is in mint condition except it doesn’t have the Ty tag or the name tag typically on the bottom. My grandma cut them off years ago for some reason. Anyway I’m not super positive that it’s worth much but I am curious for interest purposes.
Yeah its not worth much but one of my favorite bears
I have boxed MacDonalds beeanie babies are they worth anything
A couple bucks each.
I just found an iggy and panda bear from 97 excellent condition. Hopefully they're worth some money.
Not worth much, sorry.
I would do way more research! They are definitely worth alot
T
i collect them for fun and own at least 300+
Sounds great, I have some too for fun.
So if they aren't worth anything, why are people paying thousands of dollars for some of them like the Princess Di ones and Peace Bear? I know the beanies with the errors are worth something.
I heard money laundering might be one of the reasons.
@@ThriftShopHustler seriously?
I agree. Looks like to me. Now the rare ones value now are being driven up.
@@ThriftShopHustler Also, on ebay, people will buy their own $1000+ listings to have it show up in "Sold listings" as these crazy high prices. Beanie baby collectors are the worst lmao.

Hey friend, just I have found a beanie baby called scoop, but I don't know how to know if this is vintage or not, or this has a worth, can you help me to know more about this toys, I am from Mexico.
Scoop is not worth that much. Sorry.
Hola yo tengo un peluche de esa marca que tiene forma de dragón blanco con alas brillantes es muy lindo y me lo regalaron hace muchos años cuando era una niña y nose si tiene valor
hola!
I have the same bear
Thanks for stopping by, Happy New Year!
I have same also
I need to know something what if the bear is not the same size as buddies and not the same size as babies what is that
If it's smaller then it's a teenie beanie
If it's anything other than that idk

I just bought 200 of them mint condition, any suggestions, im really confused and most are 4th generation. Im looking to resale and i have some of the “rare” ones. I could really use help
This might not be the advice you want to hear, but look each one up by name. Be warned of high sales that are false, do an average sale rate.
Umm how about happy(4th gen) i have it, is it really worthless?
$2-4 Mint.
I have atleast 26 rare ones with several error tags where could I get the best offer atleast 21 in mint condition
cool, thanks for the comment.

i have the 1999 signature one and I’ve been searching for the value it does not mean i will sell him because he is very special and in kindergarten i got him from my teacher ik he’s not worth that much but even if he was worth near 1Million/OneMillion i would not sell him he is to special but i do love him very much! ❤️🌸
Thanks for the comment, yes some beanies are worth more for personal reasons than monetary.
Thrift Shop Hustler No Problem and Thank you for replying to my comment :D
I’m trying to sell my collection. I looked up the prices and the went from a few dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. Do mine have to be defects to sell for that much money? Or just rare ones like the peace bear and the Valentino one.
Sell the rare ones first, then lot up the rest. That is my advice.
I have both of those with errors many rare ones including PVC.
All those errors can range in price.
I have a mini Princess Diana Beanie Baby mint, in box, never opened or played with. Is it worth anything?
Maybe $15-20.
I have a question, I have a Snort pvc, tag errors beanie baby and I’ve been trying to find people who know what they are talking about to help me find the worth of it. Did you update the title or am I wigging out at almost 2am going through my old beanies 😭 I'm going off no sleep trying to prep for my 2 year Olds birthday tomorrow and the 2 years ago sent me 🥲
Yes.
Beanie babies first generation will be the next charizard Pokémon cards. I was hoping beanie babies come back on 2020 during sports boom and Pokémon cards.
I do think you are right but the when?
I have a snort the bull in extremely good condition with both tags, on the back of the tush tag it says OAKBROOK IL, USA and theres no comma between the Oakbrook and the IL so thats a error. It also has PVC pellets which are discontinued for beanie babies. How much is it worth? also its style 4002 and the cardboard tag has a little star that says "BEANIE ORIGINAL BABY" on it. its from 1995
cool

Hi there.
Just a quick question. What does "Canada Exclusive"? I mean, I understand the words, just curious how they got them & they're so cheap now.
I was able to get

Germania $6.99 Free Shipping
Osito $7.99 Free Shipping
Britannia UK Exclusive $9.89 Free Shipping.

Why are there so many ebay auctions that appear to have sold for thousands of dollars? When I click on them however, it says the auction has ended but the item is relisted. The price is green though?
I see them too. But after a few weeks I noticed a lot of them being sold are being sold again a month later for the same high price and background pictures...
It's something fishy
Money laundering or some other strange money act.
How much would a Ty Beanie Baby Rainbow the Chameleon be worth with first run tag error?
No idea.
I have a beanie original baby Twigs, I've researched it and it's deff a rare one based on having no star on tush tag, style number and 5-19-95 date of birth BUT it has a light pink and white ear tag with a white star and I can't find any info as to why the tag is light pink and white. Any ideas?
I'd search google images with the key word "Twigs" you might find this example. I think it might not be too rare.
May I say most of these are lies , look out for any beanie baby that is rare, don't judge by the tags
Jamie Lewis ya most of them could be lies I just consider asking ty thare is a website that one of tys employees will answer questions
Yes
Jamie Lewis : plus look in the beanie baby price guide, even if you have a beanie that with a tag would be worth $600 is worth only $1 unless u get authentication then MAYBE it may sell
About how much does it cost to certify a beenie?
Im not sure that company does that any more.
what about a mixed ty tag? Mine has a Mel the koala bear tag on it.
You can switch the tags out easily.
Beanie babies are awesome to collect. I'm a girl that loves to collect stuffed animals.

There are those less than 5% that are worth something, but it's just not worth your time and energy to look for them. There are literally millions of beanies out there. It's like looking for a needle in a needle stack.
