- This is how do the wiring from an amplifier placed in the trunk of a BMW E90 to the speakers in the front of the car.
It´s almost the same on the E91, E92, E93 and with some deviations on other BMW models.
Falls jemand Probleme beim verstehen des Videos hat kann er mich gerne anschreiben. Ich werde dann versuchen seine Fragen, dann auch auf deutsch, zu beantworten.

FYI for anyone wanting to tap into the underseat subwoofer audio wires -
SUB LEFT
Red/White + pin 8
Brown/Yellow - pin 18
SUB RIGHT
Red/Blue + pin 6
Brown/White- pin 16
These were the wire colours for my 2010 E90 320d. Added a 900w Sub in the back.. thumps pretty hard ;) goodluck

Can you answer couple questions? So how those wires go between radio and amplifier? You did connect wires to the amplifier on that connection position where the wires spread?
I watched the video, and saw that you cutted those subwoofer wires and just connected to the amplifier wires that you wired from the amplifier?
So if you could little bit tell how those wires go there, I would be happy.

So first I connected a wire from the trunk to the wires coming from the radio to the speakers and that is going into a high low adapter, or as it is for my amplifier, which has an inbuilt high low adapter, connect to chinch plugs an then go in the amplifier.
From the amplifier then go two wires on each side to the subs and door speakers.
Thanks, so you connected wire from the amplifier to the radio harness, and then the signal goes through amplifier and spread to the subwoofers and front sprakers, right?
Did it go two wires every speaker, or one for the left side and one for the right side. Or did you connect them like - and + connectors
Mikke 22 Yes, originally there is only one cable going to subs and door speakers, thats one of the reasons why the original sound sucks, because there are only resistances so the speakers get the right signal range. I am having two cables from the amplifier to the boxes on each side, so I can configure the signal range for each speaker differently.
Are the cables in the e60 the same ?

Kann man auch die Verkabelung der vorderen Lautsprecher an dem abgeschnittenen Stück beim Subwoofer (also an der stelle wo du die Kabel direkt am subwoofer getrennt hast ) verbinden wenn man es am Radio schon unterbrochen hat oder muss man unbedingt an den Knotenpunkt unter dem Sitz ran? hoffe du verstehst was ich meine :D
Prinzipiell kann man auch näher beim Radio die Kabel trennen, ich weiß nur nicht ob bis zum Radio hin für die Lautsprecher in der Tür und für den Subwoofer getrennte Kabel laufen.
@@knapsk9604 das meinte ich nicht.. sondern das man die Verbindung Endstufe zu Lautsprecher an der getrennten Stellle am Subwoofer machen kann, also quasi ohne den fetten Knoten aufzumachen.
wichtig ist nur die verbindung vom radio zu Lautprecher zu trennen, das kann man am radio ja machen..
ps., es läuft ein Kabel vom Radio bis unter den Sitz,von da aus wird es an dem Knoten verteilt zur Tür hin und zum Subwoofer

Halo ich habe ein Subwoofer mit verstärker schon gekauft, ich habe ein bmw e87 und möchte montieren , aber mein radio ist ( factory radio) und hat kein platz für (AUX) von verstärker , so ich muss ein Konverter kaufen und hinter in kofferraum montieren aber ich habr keine ahnung wie das geht , Verstärker hat Grund kabel ( das weiß ich wo kann ich montieren) , +kabel (im battery) und hat diese (2 aux mit remote kabel zusammen) kannst du bitte erklären dankee.
Du kannst den "converter", also einen High Low Adapter an die Kabel der beiden hinteren Lautsprecher in der Hutablage machen. Den minus Pol am besten mit an die Schraube rechts unter der Kofferraumabdeckung (zumindest ist da bei mir so eine schraube, wo mehrere Kabel hinführen und an der quasi geerdet werden). Das remote Kabel weiß ich leider auch nicht, weil meine Endstufe das automatisch über die Lautsprecher Kabel merkt.
You are only powering the front speakers not the rear..am I right?

You could use current thiefs but the quality isn't as good as welding the cables.

Hi there ! What amplifier did you use? (name or specifications) And how is the sound compared to the stock system? Are you glad with it?
Andreyush Cristian I used an Eton MA 75.4 the sound in combination with new speakers in the doors is much clearer also the base is more powerful, even though I'm using the stock subwoofers, but I'm thinking about changing them.
If U just want a powerful base and don't care so much about the middle and highs just get a subwoofer Box and put it in your trunk, but I wanted better sound not just louder sound and this is the way to achieve that.
I'm not crazy for powerful bass. I just want better and clear sound without distortion. How many w does have the aftermarket speakers you mounted?
Andreyush Cristian The sound is definitely clearer the have like 50-60 W RMS and they are koax which the stock ones aren't so practically they don't have a high speaker. Depending on how much work U wanna put into i would suggest you take a look on a set where the high speakers are separated from the middle ones an fit into the mirror triangle.
Thanks for the tip. I would like speaker and tweeter in front, coaxials in the back and replace the subs with something more powerful.

Bro you are pretty horrible with explaining what you are doing exactly which I believe you should try to make sure that you are very thorough with your demonstration specially when you are dealing with electrical stuff.

Wait you mean to tell me that you went to all of that to run an amp to factory speakers ???? . I installed Focal speakers front and rear with beamer tech subs under the seats being pushed by a 5 ch Alpine amp with an Alpine head unit . Ran the speaker wires and RCA cables down the center of the car
