what colour cables did you tap into in the head unit?
Bro your doing amazing. Big things to come
Thank you broo
What did you do? All I seen was a fast forward and description of your own audio, what went to what wire etc?
Did this have the base audio system without the stock amp in the trunk? If so, did you make the speaker level connections behind the head unit and just use a line out converter?
Yes made the speaker level from the unit itself instead of the amp
Great content bro 🙌🏽
Thank you broo
Great work bruv 👏
thank you broo
Well done 👍
Great vid brother 🙌
thank you bro
Did you put the rca converter on the empty slot to the radio? Of what i saw on mine, i had a empty slot where nothing was going into the radio. Only the speakers
Yes I put an rca converter and connected it to the radio wiring and speaker wiring directly
@@alphacustomz thanks, im new to this and getting one tomorrow, ty for fast respons.

Is there room in the back parcel tray for some 650W 9x9? i have a jvc sub and a 8 farad capacitor that i currently have installed in my 1994 ford laser. im getting a 2010 320i bmw and would like to swap it in. would i have a problem feeding a 4awg power line through the firefall to the cap then to the amp that runs my pioneer 6x9s and my sub as it cranks hard. and were there lineouts on the headunit? and im not gona use my old headunit as that will stay with the sony speakers installed in the front doors of the laser
I believe there is enough space for that. And the battery for the bmw is in the rear so you can just route it through all the way to the back through the seats. Yes I used an rca converter from the existing wiring harness to get it to work.
@@alphacustomz ok thank you
please help me 😑
What did you do behind the stereo, I want to explain about it, how to connect a wire behind the stereo
It's hard to explain as there's so many wires behind but it all gets connected to a rca converter from the speaker wires behind the radio.
How much you normally charge for this and how long does it take to do once booked in
I don't do subwoofers anymore unfortunately since they are a long process and I carry out the jobs mainly on my own.
What settings do you set it to? Bass, freq and gain?
This can vary for every car bro and personal preference but it think frequency and gain were middle and bass up
Song name ?
On witch cable on the radio did you put die subwoofer cable?
do you mean the remote wire?
No the rca
is the wuality good while driving even when you have it in your trunk? its closed off isnt it?
Yes it is and depends on the way that you have the subwoofer facing. Some people prefer it facing the car interior and some towards the boot. However the quality is good from the subwoofer itself.
@@alphacustomz do you think that counts for my bmw3 aswell?
@@idontreallycare4531 yes I would say so but personally I would go for a subwoofer with a higher watt compared to the edge subwoofer.
How do you connect the rca cables to the original unit
We used a rca adaptor mate
I've got a sub in my E90. Sounds great from the trunk but is very quiet inside the car. Probably because it's in a closed area. Is there any solution for this?
Have you tried changing the direction of where the sub faces? Maybe try put it facing the seats and sound insulation helps keep sound in too.
Let’s get crackalackin 🤣
Bro i got e90 too did you use high low adapter?
Yes we did mate
What did you wire into the rear of the head unit bro?
It was a rca unit bro
@@alphacustomz cheers man I did sorta figure it out not long after I posted this. I have a e82 with base audio so no nasty logic 7 amps to go around.
Cheers bro and keep up the good work :)
@@SteezusONsmokE thanks bro 🙏🏽
I like your voice mate, good tutorial
Thank you mate
woof woof
Quality content 👌🏼
thank you!
Where did you run the wire thru if the seats don’t fold snd can you connect it to the battery from the boot ? Or needs to be in the front at the bonnet ?
you can get it through the edge of the rear seats and it can be connected to the rear battery.
It looks amazing on you, congratulations, do you have the factory speakers?
Cheers mate and yes the car has factory speakers
what is the size of the sub?
I think it's 12 inch but here's a link to the one the customer had. www.halfords.com/technology/car-audio/car-amps-and-subs/edge-12in-edb12a-active-subwoofer-443750.html?cm_mmc=Google+PLA-_-Motoring%3ETechnology%3ECar+Audio%3ECar+Subwoofers+and+Amplifiers-_-Motoring%3ETechnology%3ECar+Audio%3ECar+Subwoofers+&+Amplifiers-_-443750&istCompanyId=b8708c57-7a02-4cf6-b2c0-dc36b54a327e&istFeedId=62b447cf-331e-4fec-a47a-9985ff72d404&istItemId=imirmaqxl&istBid=t&_$ja=tsid:|cid:19321443561|agid:143304095654|tid:pla-1674925504749|crid:642140903691|nw:g|rnd:3128145948579903751|dvc:m|adp:|mt:|loc:1006702&gclid=CjwKCAiAkrWdBhBkEiwAZ9cdcOE2StD6nOj_g9_i_22VuhF62OHRnyCTBBP654ZU83JdiLWIB0DdhhoCJDkQAvD_BwE
Great video mate, only suggestion id add is put the fuse on the power cable closer to the battery instead of speaker, so incase of a fire it doesnt burn through the whole cable
Thank you mate! Noted for next time :)
Phase set to 0 or 180?
180
@@alphacustomz cool that’s what I did, just setup a JBL 15inch sub in the back of my 11’ 335i, I also ran the remote turn wire to the glove box, in the f8 fuse which is the cig lighter port.
@@smtjr8998 niceee we ran the remote to the rca converter
