  • This video can be used on any E90/E91/E92 where there is no stock amp available to tap into.
    This guide can be applied to any car in general, although running the power cable through the firewall into wherever you want the amp installed will be a different method.

    Brilliant video. I'm planning to do this soon. After you soldered the wires did you plug it back into the under seat sub?

      @@PasanDias Thanks for replying! Ok cool. I'm doing the exact same thing on an e61, from the UK so mine doesn't have the built in amp either.

      @@daweirdxone2936 Brilliant! Would be handy! Just want to see exactly which wires I'm doing for this job in particular. Could I not just crimp the wires?

    • @daweirdxone2936
      @daweirdxone2936  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bilalahmed2386 as it is a different model that you are working on the colors on the wires would be different, however, there would be only 2 wires that's running to your speakers as well. you might have to use a wiring diagram or a multimeter to distinguish the negative and positive terminals. negative terminal is usually colour coded with black or brown.
      as for connecting wires, soldering is a personal preference, however you can use tap ins such as a quick splice connector and would save you from having to solder wires.

      Speaker wires. You can get twin core ones in 2mm and 3mm. I believe I used 2mm but I can't remember exactly

    You got 4 channels amp run for twin Sub. I recommend you to get 2 channels amplifier for your twin Sub it will give you full of power. At the moment you only use to channels from your 4 channels amp.

      Thank you on the suggestion. I had this amp with me for a while and definitely don't feel the power dropping and is pretty good quality. but next time I'll keep your suggestion in mind 😊
