As Kim says "CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF" as you go along. My mother always said "It is easy to clean a clean house." All this woman had to do was keep it cleaned up daily, but apparently she is to lazy to do that.
I wish I were able to offer the crossword lady any help because she definitely needs to visit a shrink or a support group. She deserves, like any human being, to live in a clean place. I'm afraid her mental or psychological state, or may be both, is hindering her from keeping her place as clean as it should be. Anyways, Kim & Aggie, you've done an amazing job as usual. Update on the crossword lady: responding to reports of a horrible odour emanating from her basement apartment, police found her body buried beneath a pile of completed crosswords. Scrawled across the top of the last crossword were the words "Fuck you, Kim and Aggie."
This lady says all the right things, and shows the right reactions to the things Kim and Aggie say. However she is all talk and no action. She is deceiving herself. As for the crosswords, she is addicted to a false sense of accomplishment. Completing the crosswords make her feel good about herself. She is similar in a lot of ways to a drug addict, obviously not as extreme, but a paler version.
I spent about two years confined to my bed, which meant about two years of not being able to clean. Now that I am able, I really want to clean, but it seems so daunting, it's hard start. I hope I wouldn't go right back to old habits if I had someone "wipe the slate clean", as it were. I wonder, though, if there might be some psychological issues going on with this woman. It is really hard to care about anything, much less things you never have enjoyed, when you suffer from depression
I do the garbage bag outside thing but I buy Fume free oven cleaner which contains ammonia and spray my broiler and stove grates, leave them sit awhile and hose off and bring in to scrub. It works great but I do it once a month lol. Didn't wait 27 years.

Not to mention, how do we know that the people who passed the inspection two weeks after the big clean didn't start slipping later? To me, Rosie's relative eloquence and bookishness made her more sympathetic than most of the other homeowners featured on this show.
Its amazing how people would rather tolerate living in a mess than get up and do something about it. I guess there comes a point where the problem becomes too much to handle alone and then the depression reinforces the problem. It's a vicious circle.

Wow! I can't believe that she had a clean apartment and then just let it go. The simple solution would be to hire someone to come in and clean weekly. She sure isn't a responsible adult. What a shame to want to live like that. At least, people are aware of her bad house cleaning habits and can choose to visit or not.

Why not just get a new grill pan for a couple of dollars? It's ridiculous trying to clean that old pan. The exception would be if the budget is so tight as to not allow that. But, if that is so, there would be no money to waste expensive citrus fruit to clean with when cheap no-name vinegar will do. Reality check time.

Apparently the crossword lady broke into Aggie's house that night and spray painted "Bitch" on her kitchen wall. When Aggie confronted her, the crossword lady jumped on her back and screamed "How's that for a new word?!" before having a major fit and collapsing.
She obviously has a serious effective habit of crosswords crosswords is like a drug to her she just needs to break out of the habit and i can't believe she keeps it all mingin after they done the cleaning i think she should do that cleaning all by herself coz after all it's her mess

I will soak a pan or bowl if it got too dirty from cooking.I soak them in hot soapy water with white vinegar.Why stand there scrubbing?
