I also have a white 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro.....mods include hidden winch (Warn), switched to KO2 tires, additional 1.5 inch lift, 1 1/4 inch wheel spreaders and RCI frame connected rock sliders.....liked seeing rear bumper and would like to see the front bumper you mentioned to come.
done by Toyota dealership (wanted to make sure wouldn't change warranty coverage), reality almost 2 inches. They also installed rock sliders to frame at same time (they have lift and help, I live alone on mountainside). As I understand, they used a spacer of some type and said it was within spec limits of Toyota. I would guess you know more about it than I.
I didn't want to push far on tires either...did go to 265/75 R16 and wish had gone to 275/75 R16. For me, it isn't really about any rock climbing, more about in and out of ditches, gravel or dirt mountain back roads. My driveway up to my house is single lane, 1600ft with steep run and two switchbacks, another 1000ft to a county road.
fiftyfishbottom nice, that's definitely the safer route to go without voiding your warranty when lifting your truck. I'm still unsure of what size lift I want to get. Which is why it will probably be the last thing I do. I also would feel really bad taking out the stock fox suspension so soon as well! But leaning towards 2.5" lift in the future with Kings or maybe bigger Fox Shocks!
Great video! Do those sliders stick out far enough to help with getting in the truck. Thinking about ditching the predators but kids need help getting in.
Tacomaholic True. Although I wish it locked with the key fob instead of having to manually doing it. I will also being adding a pop and lock to my tailgate very soon!
Tacomaholic yes thank you brotha! I love my rigids! (Super Bright) As well as my waterport! Just ordered my C4 lo pro bumper with another light bar coming in soon! I also enjoy watching your videos as well. Keep them coming.
addcook I bought it from Hondo Garage! I think I have a link in the description for them. It's the same place where I bought the stereo knobs from. It's called a Ram Ball mount.
What size wheels, tires, are you running and do you have a lift or leveling kit or is it just stock height? I have a 16' trd offroad with a leveling kit from the factory, and want to jump up to a bigger tire-wheel without messing with the suspension and am not sure how big I can go. Stock wheels are only 7inch so any increase in tire size would probably mean buying new wheels too lol. Great video, thanks for posting.
AK Kenai 265/75/16 I have a video of me getting my tires put on my rig if you want to check it out. I don't have any lift and there is no rubbing issues at all!
Ive been having that issue with my Tacoma radio knob. Purchased the Hondo knobs with in 2 minutes of watching your video. Thanks!
That clear surfboard @ 5:54 dope af 😂😂
Nice set up. Real clean and looks good 👍
Have you planned on doing a lift or a bigger tire?
David Richardson yes I’ve been thinking about it for a while now. Just waiting on the funds to do so! Haha
Let me know how it goes I got a 2019 off road and love the way the truck rides and want a lift but don’t want to compromise how nice the ride is.
@@davidrichardson4782 I agree love the way it drives stock afraid of messing up the ride with new suspension
Nice truck man, mods are tasteful and functional. I wouldn't want to go too crazy either.
Good stuff and great video.

fiftyfishbottom I definitely will post it once it comes in at the end of October.. :/ but what did you go with when you lifted your rig 1.5 inches?

Nearby, someone I know of is about to open up an offroad park on mountain acreage of his family and to be called Patriot Mountain.

Yes they do. I love these Pelfreybilt sliders. Yea I ditched those a while back when I ripped one of them off haha
Can you explain how you installed the prelfreybilt rocksliders?
Cristian Hernandez yes I’ll do my best on explaining how I installed my Sliders in the coming videos.
Dude you should consider removing your mud flaps if you go off roading often
4:50 Redline Tuning hood struts coming soon??
Tacomaholic yes that might be my next mod! My hood is a pain in the ass to open up sometimes haha
Awesome buddy! It's one of those mods where you really wish Toyota would have just included it with the truck to begin with. 😀
Tacomaholic 💯 should have come stick from Toyota!
At least your 3rd Gen came with a locking tailgate handle. Lol I had to add one to my 2nd Gen.
Tacomaholic True. Although I wish it locked with the key fob instead of having to manually doing it. I will also being adding a pop and lock to my tailgate very soon!
Sick truck! Gotta make a video of my Tacoma as well!
Truck is looking good Panda! 👍Good job going with the Rigids. Love all the ones I have on my truck. Waterport is amazing too.

Thanks Panda! Can't wait to see the new bumper.
Badass man!
Since you replaced your original Toyota bumper, are you selling your original right and left white painted rear ends? If so, I'm interested.
Angel Barbosa I'm not selling my bumper. Sorry. I am selling my stock Kevlar Goodyear tires though if your interested.
SDHQ front bumper hidden winch mount!
Hey, nice video. Quick question: did that vent mount system come with the Spod? Or did you purchase separate? If so where?

Nice build man. I’m gonna order the c4 bumper too. What lights are you going to install
Chris Borromeo I ordered a 20" Baja designs light bar that is going to be installed within the bumper!
Tell everyone with Toyota’s yo harass me I bought a trd pro and just like the Subaru community you have to destroy me and everything I love
Like the new volume nobs you got for your stereo. Do you mind posting the link to the site you bought them from; thanks!
