Just installed the Leitner rack with one small and one XL Pod. Also feel there should be a hydraulic system to hold door open. Also concerned with security. Seems like it would be very easy to steal entire pod with contents. Looking into other ways to add either security screws to replace the hex screws that came with pods or possibly adding additional screws and screwing from inside of pod.

That's a great idea! Let me know how that goes. I am ok with how they lock just want those hydraulic arms and I would be happy
$250+ and no shocks to hold the lid wow! How Do you keep from people stealing them? looks like anyone can unbolt 4 nuts and there you go.
