Studio One is the DAW that keeps on giving!
All day everyday! 😏
Yeah I'm going to use this from now on. I was using the Song > Import Song Data to do this and would bring full tracks over, but this is so much faster and easier. Thanks Gregor!
I used to do that by opening the song and then copying the effect chain and paste it in the other song. Your method might be quicker and you don't have to open songs. Good!
I was just thinking to myself this morning that I need to figure out how to do this and then there this video was!! Right on time. Thanks so much for all of your Tips!
Happy to help! Have a great, creative weekend!

Fantastic lesson. Thank you. Never thought about trying that, although i do use the browser’s file system for other kinds of drag and drop from previous songs.
Amazing! That will save me a ton of time. Thanks so much.
Yo! This is great! Thanks for sharing this tip! 🙌🏼
THANK YOU!!
Killer tip. No waiting to open that song and all its plugins! Will this work only for presets used, or any channel settings?
Very useful cheers🙂

Incredible

Great video, but how do I copy and paste my animations, when I duplicate the track, it doesn't duplicate it with the animation, please help. I'm sure it's simple, but I don't recall how to do it. That would be less work instead of redoing the animation.
Thabkbyou Gregor
Is this possible for older versions ??.
I got a problem with this feature . new presets that I save stop showing up in my FX Chain folder. I have to go to my doc folder and double click is for it to show up and I have to do that every time. Never use to have this problem
Is it possible to make a duplicate version of a plugin within an insert? I like placing analyzer plugins pre and post my EQ’s and Comp’s.
Anytime I do this the original song ends up not being able to save even after closing it down and reopening it. Love the idea but for me personally it has become a hassle and to an extent "a liability" if I can't save the song I originally took the plugin from
Is it possible to run a faderport 16 and a faderport 8 at the same time with logic pro x
