My dad owned a 2015 for 6 years and finally deleted it around 200k miles (yes he drove the piss out of it) and it became an even better truck than it already was. We recently sold it to my cousin and it still hasn’t had any engine related problems after another 60k miles.
@@woobackbaby5019 The 2011-2014s are pretty cheap, especially the first year, but the 15-16 with the updated motor are still holding strong, I see a bunch up here asking between 45-50k with between 50-100k miles. Trim doesnt seem to matter either, the Lariats/King Ranch/Platinum even a clean XLT all seem to be about the same asking price nowadays.
@@nathanmcleod1040 i got lucky with mine, mines a 15 platinum, got it with barely undet 120 miles for 34k also came with a king hand bumper. Only issue I had with it was it had death wobble, but fixed it by getting new tires.

The 6.0L are the ones that need studded from the Factory the 6.7L did not have that problem with the gaskets blowing because the new design made sure there were enough head bolts per cylinder

Had a code of reductant pressure low an its was obviously a def issue so i said fuk it deleted with a 5” straight pipe an a sotf switch.. also did the cold side intercooler pipe upgrade an i almost shit wen i got it on the road ☠️😂☠️😂 it is not the same vehicle 🚗 i cant wait to get everything else tip top an up to my standards
I got a 15 platinum too and wanted to get the delete for better mpg, but heard it doesn't really make much of a difference with def fluid diesels, not sure if you got a nice bump to your mpg or not.
TheNicko773 everything under the hood is from sinister diesel. Then you have to find a tuner but they banned delete tunes right before the new year it’s still possible to get them but not as easy as it used to be.

Did you get all the parts thru is sinister diesel including the ezlynk and is it a fixed vane turbo or are the vanes always closed because of the tune ?
Only thing I got from them were the sinister diesel parts the Ezlink was bought through a tuning company as well as the exhaust. And I honestly don’t really know the answer to your last question but I sort of have an idea what you are talking about

ALV it’s a stock turbo but if your asking because it sounds different is because 2015-2016s have different turbos that are very different from the 2011-2014 6.7 turbo. And I hate to be that guy but I can’t really give out my tuning company because of new epa laws but it’s a small company not your normal name you would hear

Engine bay looks way cleaner with it gone and the truck runs way better I have friends that still have there’s in and mine was unplugged for about a week. And it’s a very cheap thing to do
I'm about to buy a used 2015 with 69k miles. Was wondering how much im looking at just to fully delete my 6.7 without all the bells and whistles (doing it correctly of course) just necessary parts/labor If you don't mind sharing if not thats okay too
I never payed any labor we did everything our selves and I’m no master mechanic. I would say that the Ezlink with a tune is around 1,000$ and the EGR delete is 200$ straight pipe is about 400$ but if ur gonna do it do it Quick the EPA is shutting shit down

I only get 13-14 mpg If I drove it like a grandma I could probably get 15-16 but I also always run it on tune 4/5 so it’s pretty turned up

Yes it took us about 3 hours only major thing is draining the coolant
