"The shame isn't your enemy. It's your guiding light to self-worth."
"Learn a new way to perceive yourself. Learn a new way to present yourself to the world."
"Understanding and rewriting our greatest shame. Our weakness. Our failure of character. The parts we most hate about ourselves. And bring them to light."
"I found no physical barrier to success that was not created by me. And i truly believed there was. I empowered my greatest shame and it became my superpower."
"You will be as successful as the amount of pain you are willing to endure. And the faster you accept the pain, the faster you move through it."
"Money is value to self." "Bad people make money."
"How do you rewrite the story? Come back to the present." "Do not numb this pain."
"The antonym of shame is honor."

My shame as a child was that I was slow, female and came from Irish working class. In fact at the age of 8 my school report was the piece of paper that wrote me off. I agree with what you said “question fear itself”. When I was in my 30’s I stopped writing myself off and nothing has stopped me since. My worth is not seeking someone else’s approval.

When she said she did not finish high school I just wanted to cry. I too left high school at 16. I’m 26 now and i still let others shame me from not finishing. Especially being from a Salvadoran family. And the first born. They expected more of me. But I am working on getting my ged. Even if at slow pace. Still that’s enough…

pain comes from resistance and non-acceptance of yourself
abundance is a metric for worthy and worthless, not good and bad. success follows self-worth
"the faster you accept the pain, the faster you move through it"
"you are the poison and you are the antidote"
    disable avoidance
fear is your old story talking, don't listen to it!
declare what you want and obsessively focus on it EVERY SINGLE DAY
the antonym of shame is honor
you will never attract more than what you believe you are worth

    • @CentaurPress
      @CentaurPress ปีที่แล้ว

I thought a “how” was to stay with your feelings. Don’t avoid them. I know that I have often numbed my pain instead of being with them.
It is like the saying, the only way to get over something is through it .
      That’s what I got out of it🤷.

Theoretical perspectives are the basic assumptions about how society functions, the role of sociology, and the application of a specific set theories in studying social life.
-- Society is a unified whole that seeks equilibrium
-- Society is composed of groups competing for scare resources
-- Social life can be measured through observing daily interactions
-- Sociology should be used to enact social change
-- Sociology should be value free
