I prep materially, spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially because our Church suggests it. After much pondering I have come to the conclusion that yes Heavenly Father will pour out His "latter rain" and his "former rain" upon those who have spiritually prepared to recieve this greater degree of the Holy Ghost. I also believe that being prepared for any situation is wise and even if God gives me the miracle of never running out of food, that I will have food etc. to share with those who do not know Christ and Heavenly Father who have prepared a people to assist them. I do not worry because I have prepared. I do not even worry about what I am to say because I have prepared for that by studying His Holy Script which I know the Holy Ghost will bring to my mind and witness Father's truth to what I am being prompted to say. If I am called out to minister, I believe that by my faith and covanent keeping, He will keep me safe until my appointed time to die. Personly, I pray to be able to die as a martyr for Christ.
2 Esdras has been bothering me, off and on, for about 12 years. This guy's interpretation makes the closest sense, to me, as anyone's I've heard it read.
This book has always been in my Douay-Rheims Bible. But then again, I am Catholic, so it is one of the original books the Catholic Church put into the cannon. Protestants are missing this and other books, and chapters 15 and 16 of the Book of Daniel.
2Ezras 14:40-48 was revealed to me that these hidden books are only appointed for the ones worthy to read them. If the spirit hasn't lead anyone into reading these lost books they are not worthy to read them.
Maybe they have been revelled but have not been recieved and believed by everyone. Maybe they are not to be revealed to those who are not prepared by God to recieve them. We know that the "Bride has spot(of sin) and wrinkle(of attitude) and that she has not yet made herself ready for the Bridegroom. That would go along with your revelation.

I haven’t spent much time with his prophecy, but what I propose is that the community has properly interpreted the first 14 wings but the shift to the second wing is not properly interpreted. I Propose that the rulership of the heads and six small wings is not contiguous to the first 14. The end of the first 14 reign is followed by a time of recovery and restoration and righteousness, but there will be the attempt of the enemy to regain control and this attempt is what is being demonstrated by the small wings and then ultimately the head. I’m driving so don’t have time to really flush this message out, but I’m curious if anyone else has explored this type of scenario. Seems like the 9 last leaders will not necessarily be contiguous to each other either. ??
The Apocrypha had endured as part of the Bible for over 2000 years. A bunch of theologians in the 1800's removed it. Looks like they screwed up, messing with the scripture.
The deeper problem is the Protestants are a "reformed" version of the Catholic Church. We know that early Catholic leaders used Greek philosphy to define Christ's Church and has errored in various ways. Some of those ways have been continued in the Protestant religion and we know that King James's version while mostly accurate does contain misinterpretations of it's self. I do wonder why it was removed knowing that the Bible of Christians of all groups has some human error in it yet it is still THE annointed Word of the Living God. Some say it contains historical inacuracies. Isn't God bigger than a few errors? Hasn't He continued to be God of His people? In my church, we re taught that the Apocrypha contains good words as well as mistaken words. If we re able to gain good understanding of heavenly Father and His Plan of our salvation into eternity then that is good for us. If not then we will not loose the Good Words we have in the other works.

This happened to many books during the first conquering of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar. Read 2 Esdras 14:37-48 to see that account. Don't let what man says dictate what you should and shouldn't read. At that point, man becomes your teacher. Instead, first have a good foundation in the canon, then allow the Holy Spirit within you to witness if a book is inspired or not.

Verse 23 of Chapter 12 starts, "In the last days..." with The British Empire being the Middle head that is the kingdom that was greatly feared starting in the mid 1500's until 1952 when King George VI dies in pain in his bed Verse 26 Chapter 12. This is the same 4 beasts that Ezra's brother Daniel speaks of. Daniel refers to Jesus as the stone cut without hands. Ezra refers to His second coming as Him being a lion chased out of the woods. Jesus was a lamb at His first coming, but a lion upon His second coming. That and the sequence of feathers spoken of in Ezra's Eagle prophecy line up perfectly with American presidents starting with Truman, but dont line up so well for Rome.

Do a TH-cam search of "Ezra's Eagle short version" for my six-minute video about this. The 12 feathers are indeed the 12 Caesars. Augustus Caesar (the second Caesar) is a much better fit for the long feather than FDR. The rest of the very short video gives a very condensed version of the entire Ezra's Eagle, which is also represented by the 4th Beast of Daniel 7. It amazes me that most LDS understand this, but then they don't explain how the 4th Beast is the United States (because it isn't). In the Latin Vulgate, Ezra refers to a 'sea eagle' rising up out of the sea. 'The sea' represents the masses of people. The "sea eagle" is an actual eagle of which the American Bald Eagle is a part of that species. This 3-headed eagle is the fourth beast. The "presidents" (remember, Ezra only knew leaders as Kings or rulers, not Presidents) begins with Calvin Coolidge and brings us up to the present. These rulers do not align with any other chain of kings or rulers through out history, only when we compare it with these presidents do they line up perfectly. FDR reigned longest as president with four terms, JFK was assassinated hence a 'short feather' Nixon was forced to resign (short feather). I have a copy of the King James translation of the Apocrypha, it really does belong in the Old Testament.

Wow, totally wrong! The 3 heads are the, one. Vatican city and the Pope, the systems spiritual leader. Two. London, the financial arm of the system and the queen. Then three, Washington DC and the office of commander in chief, which is the military arm of the system!

ch. 11 vs. 39 says 'Art not thou it that remainest of the four beasts, whom I made to reign in my world, that the end of their times might come through them?' and vs, 46 says 'That all the earth may be refreshed, and may return, being delivered from thy violence, and that she may hope for the judgment and mercy of him that made her.'
This is the same 4 beasts that Ezra's brother Daniel speaks of. Daniel refers to Jesus as the stone cut without hands. Ezra refers to His second coming as Him being a lion chased out of the woods. Jesus was a lamb at His first coming, but a lion upon His second coming. That and the sequence of feathers spoken of in Ezra's Eagle prophecy line up perfectly with American presidents starting with Truman, but dont line up so well for Rome.
Better question, how would it be possible to be the Roman Empire?
@@Veevslav1 It is only partly the Roman Empire. Ezra's Eagle covers a "kingdom" from Julius Caesar to the end of nations that dominate the whole world.
Do a TH-cam search of "Ezra's Eagle short version" for my six-minute video about this. The 12 feathers are indeed the 12 Caesars. Augustus Caesar (the second Caesar) is a much better fit for the long feather than FDR. The rest of the very short video gives a very condensed version of the entire Ezra's Eagle, which is also represented by the 4th Beast of Daniel 7. It amazes me that most LDS understand this, but then they don't explain how the 4th Beast is the United States (because it isn't). BUT, we are very near the end of the last days, my interpretation and Michael B. Rush's agree on that. Spoiler: In my interpretation, one of the heads is already gone.
In the Latin Vulgate, Ezra refers to a 'sea eagle' rising up out of the sea. 'The sea' represents the masses of people. The "sea eagle" is an actual eagle of which the American Bald Eagle is a part of that species. This 3-headed eagle is the fourth beast. The "presidents" (remember, Ezra only knew leaders as Kings or rulers, not Presidents) begins with Calvin Coolidge and brings us up to the present. These rulers do not align with any other chain of kings or rulers through out history, only when we compare it with these presidents do they line up perfectly. FDR reigned longest as president with four terms, JFK was assassinated hence a 'short feather' Nixon was forced to resign (short feather). I have a copy of the King James translation of the Apocrypha, it really does belong in the Old Testament.
Theres lots of interpretations of scripture if this one is not correct then 2 esdras is for dure still true. But we shall see.
USA The Branches of Government and Congressional Representatives
It wouldn't be the Branches if they ruled without the Executive Branch = President. It would be some power behind the traitors in offfice. Whoever it will be Esdras prophesy lines up with John's Revelation of what he names as the Whore of Babylon. I personally think it has been around since the begining and is much more global and powerful than our branches, more like the deep state who has been controlling things from hidden places. Herbert Hoover was a founder of the Council on Foriegn Relations which is big and very powerful in the USA today.
