I think the most disturbing part about the corpse post is that corpses can in fact absorb water, and will bloat sort of like one of those expanding toys. There’s literal stories of people trying to recover bodies and they end up popping🥲
One person was decomposed so nightmarishly that their decomposing body released bodily fluids which spread across a good portion of the room. Somehow the fluids also got on the wall forming a line all the way up to the ceiling. I would like to think it was the body bursting but the stranger part of my mind imagined the fluids and decomposed material somehow claimed the ceiling

I think it’s that they’re unscripted, making as sincere and true as possible. I don’t know for sure, though.
