  • Now's the best time to talk with your provider about your vitamin D levels!
    While many kidney patients can benefit from a vitamin D supplement, the first thing that needs to be done is to know your levels.
    The dose and duration of a supplement will be determined by your levels.
    And don't forget that there's such a thing as too much vitamin D! That's why it's important to have a plan and follow up with your healthcare provider to check your levels routinely. We recommend once every 6 months.

    I use k2 d3 is that ok

      In many cases that can be okay. However, the dose will be individualized and based on labs. So check with your doctor/dietitian to ensure you're on the right dose.
