If you want to do an in game accurate look for the nuka cola scheme a Pip-Boy skin was just released in game in fallout 76 on the new scoreboard that goes on that specific Pip-Boy so you won’t have to try and use a different models scheme to match onto the one you are creating hope this helps👍
My buddy just gifted me this game a couple days ago and while I was to late for the nuka cola skin I scooped up the red rocket theme immediately. I friggin love that damn game. Glad I didn’t play on release otherwise I would have had a different opinion. Anyways the game is crack and it’s lovely.
me and one of my sons are huge into the fallout universe and games he bought me the exact same pip boy that you have for Father's day I'm looking to do what you're doing to it but on the screwdriver mine has both screwdriver bits that switch around like they are supposed to....
@@YourGeekFix I've already watched that video all the way through when I first found your channel but I'm more interested to see how you do with the exact Pip-Boy that I have because it most likely going to be different to make it a working pip boy cuz the one you did in that video is a different model
@@BakersfieldParanormalServices It's really the same. The hardest thing is sacrificing the screen module. The casing is the same. Although, the battery area in the top could make some things easier.
Honestly love how youre handling this one. Especially given the prebought speaker is a no-go and unavailable to us without a buttload of desposable income. Would love it if we could make the knob actually flip through sound files. Either stored on the main pc/phone or perhaps a cleaver wiring solution using a micro-sd card? (Maybe a raspberry pi or ardueno could help, im unexperienced with those but hell ive seen magic happen). Im waiting on assembling mine (hell i got it when THE ORIGINAL came out in 76s debut) cause ive been busy. But recently i have some freetime and disposable income. So id love to walk along once i see how you do it! Thanks for making this all clear and avaliable. It helps people like me learn and achieve the ability to make cool stuff! >:D
Great video as usual good luck this one's a little different and then the kit although it's made from the same pieces the electronics are different you may have to do some desoldering they really do it the right way without having dangling electronics or cut away plastic like I'm going to do a show it's easier to work with without the process of desoldering you don't see what I mean when you get to the inside guts with the electronics it's all together and it's not easily removed
Gonna make one using the guts of a crappy knockoff walkman for holotape and radio, get a real geiger counter, and make the primary display into essentially a PDA. I mean, what are quests if not tasks and chores?
@@YourGeekFix , Is it not possible to instead make 3d prints of each part of the shell to rather than paint over the limited edition shell? if possible, it might run easer to switch the shells back and forth without much problems(thus having both working and limited factors in mind).
