    I take Jarrow's mk-7 with magnesium glycinate and Potassium gluconate. I have dealt with HBP for years. This combo seems to help. No more elephant on my chest.

      Same sort of supplements here too, except with D3 and calcium carbonate (anti acid is cheap). I have to be dairy free and low oxalate so getting enough calcium is difficult.

      take same plus D3, but not Potassium gluconate. which I will look into - thanks

      😂😂 natto is definitely not for everyone..and if you aren’t careful when buying it you will be eating GMO soy

      Good work. BP is dependent upon enough potassium and magnesium in the body. Most people are low on both minerals and doctors don't tell them the importance of having enough.

    I've been taking K2 for a few years to help with osteoporosis. Last test showed that i was plateauing in my numbers. If it helps with plaque, great.

    Great to see your humour over Natto. Never tried it but don't intend to. I also take vitamin K mk-7 as it lasts in the body.

    I am in the camp that believes that once calcified plaque is in the arteries it stays there for life. However, I am taking D3 and K2-MK7 along with magnesium and zinc in the hopes in preventing further calcification.

      When my 90 yo mom was in the hospital, I saw her chest xrays that showed the calcium in her aorta decreasing when I had her on D3 and K2. So, your body will remove plaque from the arteries if given the right nutrients. Keep doing what you are doing!

    In 2022 my neck artery was 99% blocked. I had a stroke, had corrective surgery but am completely different now. Balance is awful, legs feel tired, etc...my surgeon said if more doctors would simply put the stethoscope on each side of their patients necks and listen for problems most clogged neck artery issues could be resolved.

    I eat Natto twice a week, and it tastes OK like anything in life you get used to it, I used to have sugar in my tea, but not any more, I used to smoke, but twenty years ago stopped, and you get used to it just need to use your brain and do what is best, for you.

    I took natto+ serrapeptase (adding lumbrokinase if I can afford..), and a once a year 2 x bottles of Kroeger Circuflow. Now I switched to Cavadex which costs heaps more but I hope waaay better.

    Would K2 help with tachycardia or elevated heart rate?

    • @GordonAnderson-c6m
      @GordonAnderson-c6m หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't think so I think K2 can make your heart rate go up K2 is overhyped will not remove plaque see a doctor

    • @thisorthat7626
      @thisorthat7626 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Look into the role of potassium and magnesium for tachycardia. Potassium is vital for our heart and is rarely discussed. We need far more than most people get in their diet.

    Hi Doc, I eat Nato every day. Yesterday I had a mini stroke. Could the K2 in Nato destabilise plaque, causing particles to be released into the blood?

    Natto is quite pungent. I heap on mustard and raw red onions to hide the taste.

      The calcium K2 Story unfortunately has at least two possible counter common sense elements that neither Dr Story nor anyone else apart from Dr Brewer address and even he is somewhat ambivalent across a few of his videos. The calcium story itself seems largely incorrectly presented by most in the same way inflammation is demonised without correct nuance . Both are necessary when working correctly and the question regarding calcium in the arteries is how much of a beneficial role it plays especially in the stabilisation of soft plaques . For those with cvd might it be a negative to lower Ca in the blood that might be needed for this purpose and indeed might K2 actually remove Ca from existing calcified plques thus making them more prone to rupture. The only actual analysis of research into K2 rather than prescription by inference based influencer prosletysing actually didn’t find a convincing cvd benefit and quite possibly it may have differing benefits for different people. I have also seen research that its bone building supposed benefits are more nuanced than generally pushed. From my investigation better research needs to be done

    French camembert contains K2, and that's delicious. Brie also contains it. Egg yolks also contain K2. In fact, lots of everyday foods contain K2. Like you, I would NEVER eat natto. It looks revolting!
