I’ve got 5k, 10k and HM PB’s in this shoe, and will be trying for a sub 2hr55 marathon next year, to try and qualify for the Boston marathon in 2026. I think it’s an absolutely brilliant shoe. Fast, bouncy and comfortable too. I also found it slightly long, so had to heel lock them to get rid of heel rub. Otherwise it’s a great shoe and I’d recommend it to anyone
The Cat never left for me! Maybe not race day shoe (But my 5k PR of 19:09 at age 60 was run in the Nitro Elite V1) but V2 was a killer WO shoe. Tried and true to me!
My experience is similar to Robbe’s. It’s a really fun shoe and gets more fun the faster I run in it, but I don’t see myself going beyond a half marathon in it. I think 10k is right smack in the middle of its wheelhouse with it being a strong choice for 5k or 15k/10mi too. I’m on the smaller side, so maybe I’m not compressing the aliphatic TPU enough for it to feel really soft like some of those taller reviewers say, but hey, I’m definitely bigger than Dakotah Lindwurm, so… 🤷♂️
Wow! I just got these at the Boulderthon expo and they’re insanely amazing! The most responsive midsole foam I’ve ever used! Bette than Vaporfly 2 and endorphin pro 3! And looks amazing! Best 260 ever spent!
I just got these today and thought they were a little long too, but im cautious about sizing down becasue the shoe might get too narrow. Overall seems like a really nice shoe though. Love how lightweight it is and the foam feels soft. Looking forward to doing some marathon pace miles in them tmrw.
I think that Rory Linkletter from Canada will be in these as well at the Olympics, so while I’d like to see the shoes bring home a medal, as a Canadian I’ll differ on the country I’m cheering for. 😅
In direct comparison with metaspeed sky Paris it feels kinda similar to me. Or even more similar to edge because of more similar shape of the plate, but I didn’t try edge Paris. Puma feels more stable on the heel and it is wider there, on other hand sky Paris feels more stable on forefoot. But the foam and upper feels similar to metaspeed, but slightly more to the comfort side in both. Foam is definitely firmer than zoomx in alphaflys 3 for example, but definitely not harsh. Seems to be a good shoe for tempo trainings, long runs and races up to half marathon for regular runners.
I didn't get it. I thought Puma was relegated to the shelves of TJ Maxx and Marshalls. I am SO glad I took the time to watch this review and buy a pair of these. Some of the best non-racers I've had on my feet in years... literally years.
Im new to running to loose weight. unfortunately im very heavy and do overpronate especialy with my right foot. My legs get tired very fast when I run. Wich shoe do you recommend
Cyclone is way lower stack and not really a marathon shoe, so generally more stable on that alone. Specter 2 may be different though, we're about to test that.
The ‘y’ is UK/Austrailia English. Anyway the word comes from Americas from the Quechua language for the cougar into Spanish to American English. The Brit pronunciation is idiosyncratic and a-historical. I know Brits who call a quesadilla “cheesy tortilla”. They are not authoritative on these words.

Robbe doesn't have low energy!! He just radiates this cool, chilled vibe and we love it 🤩

Awesome PR, well done.

Need a between two shoes between these and Edge Paris!

The big logo NITRO was properly designed, that's why it looks nice. Compared to Skechers Speed Elite, a lot hate it
Ugh that backdrop makes me miss CA wilderness so freakin much. Hope yall had a blast, but sorry Robbie isn't feeling great.
I auctally like the laces.
They are long even with the runners knot there is plenty of lenght left.. Cant say that about my Adios pro 3 or Speed 3
Nitro elite 3 or adios pro 3?
@@andrea_on Nitro Elite laces are good

So how has it been?!
I personally find the shoe very comfortable for a racing shoe
Definitely a top tier super shoe. Let's go Puma!

I got DN elite 2 and didn't care for it. The plate didn't seem to pop in my stride any more than my novablast 3
Thanks guys for this description. Like from 🇪🇸 Spain. Have a good day.
Best scenery ever from you. More of that and less down town concrete pls!
Love the review! You guys are the BEST!!!!
I’m all for multiple race shoes from one brand! I mean, Ferrari makes several different cars don’t they?
Robbie has a buff left calf
How about the calves on robbe
Id be in Cali too..cuz runnin in Baltimore is DANGEROUS!!!!!!!!!
You guys know anything about when the Hoka Bondi 9 will come out?
Always my go to channel when I’m planning on buying a new shoe. Love the content guys!! My feet have been saved. By the believe in the run gods 😂
Can’t get these anywhere
I don’t recommend- I’ve had some issues with the carbon plate fracturing and Puma customer service do not want to know. Caveat emptor I suppose 😐

Which one would you recommend for a 10 km and half-marathon. This one or the adidas adios pro 3? Thank you.
These one definitely
how are better then DN ELITE 2?

I over pronate too and have great steady runs with the Forever Run by Puma. It's even got a bit of arch support on top of being max cushioned
These or brooks Hyperion max 2?
These
I thought that was David Spade!😂😂😂
Would this shoe or the Topo Cyclone 2 feel more stable in the heel area and more stable in general?
Cyclone is way lower stack and not really a marathon shoe, so generally more stable on that alone. Specter 2 may be different though, we're about to test that.
SuperBlast 2??
Why such low energy... Did you guys just run an 11K or something?
Get well, Robbe!
Are you all covering Western States? I wasn’t aware that was your jam.
Americans say pooma while the rest of world pronounce it p-yoo-ma
Show us the 'y' in that word and maybe we'll change
Where are you from?
@@LukaMagic-hg3dk Australia
I said it pooma too as an Asian.

Not first here!
Robbie- How does Toms shoe smell?
Always delicious
I'm not wearing a shoe that says NITRO
Running is depressing, prob Robbie needs to play some full contact real man sports 😂
first!
The puma looks like a decal...too big and cheap, like a sticker badly aligned with the upper! WTF are u blind, Puma?
Boycott Puma
