      Hi yovana, is there a way for you to retest these two machines without breaking down the veggies (i.e. prepping them into diced smaller pieces)....the reason I ask is because I know alot of the centrifugal juicers do not require the veggies to be chopped and work best with larger chunks....like a whole stock of celery, half an apple, a spear of pineapple. Reason being it allows for a slower feed of the veggie and longer exposure to the blades. Just wandering if this would change anyone's mind.

    I was agreeing with almost everything you are saying until you said i'm going to continue later to clean the Breville juicer because it's that difficult. I own the same juicer for 3 years ,it takes 5 minutes to rinse and clean. There's no need for the overreaction to prove that your promoted product works better.

      Yeah, that seemed like a lame point. I have a similar juicer to the Nama and I think I'll stick with what I have. I find it a bit difficult to clean actually with the multiple, small parts and bigger hands. The metal part on the inside also has a similar mess section which can get food left over inside. It can also be pretty difficult to clean. lol

    I got this juicer because you and several other TH-camrs recommended it. The cleaning process is NOT quick and easy! There are many crevices where the pulp got stuck (after one juicing) and it took me a good amount of time to actually clean it! It is very quiet, which was a perk but the disposal comes out juicy and not dry. The same day I got it, was the day I reached out to customer service to return it. Almost every day I was reaching out to them because they didn’t get back to me until several weeks after!!! I had to pay a 50 dollar restocking fee. Seriously ridiculous. For a $550 dollar juicer, I should NOT be having any problems.
    I wish there was unbiased recommendations of a good juicer!! I seriously just want a good freaking celery juice without it taking forever to clean up. Why is that so hard

    • @Milkikomori
      @Milkikomori 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      There’s really no such thing as an easy to clean juicer that works well. I’ve had both juicers in the video and another cheaper juicer. The screen is usually the hardest part to clean in any juicer because of the fine meshes. The best is tossing everything into a soapy water filled bin or stopped sink. Let soak while you enjoy your juice, then wash after. I have some small brushes like bottle brushes to get whatever doesn’t rinse off out. But cleanup is inevitable after juicing, I’m not sure you’ll find much easier cleaning in any other product. I find the Nama is the most efficient of the juicers I’ve had but I hope you find something that works for you. You might want to consider making smoothies instead of juicing which produces less clean up. You can use something like the nutribullet like a super blender (I think ninja makes one now as well that I’ve heard good things about). But that’s if you don’t mind drinking the pulp and oxidation from the processing method.

    I just ordered the NAMA, I've been eyeing it for awhile and Fully Raw Kristina promotes & uses it. I'm definitely a juicer and have purchased fast juicers due to the financial investment. However, I know they are pretty much a waste in my opinion as they waste so much produce and she is correct that the pulp is always wet. That drove me nuts to go through all the prep only to be disappointed with the results.
    Fast juicers are not too bad for cucumbers, carrots and celery but that's about it lol. Best advice, save and spend the money on a good juicer, also get a slow one. I wasted so much money over the years when I could have just invested in a top quality juicer that will do a good job and last a long time.
    If you are going to juice, quality of the nutrients is key. Otherwise you are wasting money all around. Happy juicing everyone! 🍃❤

But make sure it's from a reputable company like good reviews masticating juicer can cost you about a hundred. Cuz most of these juicers are made in the same Factory. A horizontal juicer is more better for green and basically vegetables that don't have a lot of juice. Verticals juicers are basically for juice in a wide variety are fruits and vegetables or to be honest bro you could just get yourself a Breville and just call it a day
