Servo Buddy Install on 2019 Kawasaki ZX6R 636

- A viewer commented on my exhaust install video that a Servo Buddy would be a cleaner solution than than supplied mechanism to fool the stock servo that controls the exhaust butterfly.
The install removes the bulky servo and provides plenty of space for a Power Commander V, or just more storage. It also saves just over a pound of weight.

Do the servo cables just pull straight out or you have to remove entire tail section?

Before you connected the Servo Buddy , you had CE ight on ?
No, I originally installed the mechanical solution that was included in the Yoshimura package. You can see that installation here: th-cam.com/video/F97tRGQgYTc/w-d-xo.html
The Servo Buddy just cleaned things up so I had lots of room for the Power Commander V and other stuff.
Can install this wit stock exhaust or no ?
Is it a good idea to get this first before installing a full system exhaust?
It's probably easier to do it at the same time since you can pull out the cables for the butterfly valve that you won't need for your new exhaust (but still do for your stock exhaust).

Did you have a light on before the install? You probably need to reset the ECU

Have you rode it around for a while? I've heard it can take 20+ miles to clear the code.
I was doing more research and yes I had the exhaust and servo buddy come in today and remove d the exhaust the day before just wanted to hoon around obnoxiously for a night. I'll put a few miles on it and see what happens, thanks 🤟🏽

I recently installed a m4 slip on exhaust and a servo buddy and I have the FI light flashing. Any idea how to reset the code myself?
Audie if I’m not mistaken, it can take a while to shut off. Kind of like a check engine light. Did it ever go off?
